12/11 ~ From New Testament Letters
๐️ (In the Order Believed Written)
(About the resurrection, and the differences of bodies continued.) 41 - There is a glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon. And still another glory of the stars, and each star differs from star in glory.
42 So is it with the resurrection of the dead. What is sown is perishable, is raised imperishable. 43 It’s sown in dishonor, raised in glory. It’s sown in weakness, raised in power. 44 It’s sown a natural [psuchikos - natural, unspiritual, worldly] body, and is raised a spiritual [pneumatikos - pertains to the spirit, influenced by the Holy Spirit (a) spiritual] body. If there’s a natural body, there’s a spiritual. 45 And thus it’s written, “The first man Adam became a living being”, the last Adam became a life-giving spirit. 46 But it’s not the spiritual that’s first but the natural. And then the spiritual. 47 The first, Adam, was from earth, a person of dust, the second was from heaven. 48 As Adam was of dust, so also are all those of dust, and as is the man of heaven, so also are those who are of heaven [epouranios - heavenly, celestial, divine]. 49 Just as we have borne the image of the person of dust, we shall bear also the image [eikรณn - image, likeness, from eikล - meaning to be like and a resemblance to] the person from heaven.
