GospeL Verses ~ Matthew 12:38-45

38 - Some scribes (professionals) and Pharisees (authorities) said, “Teacher, we wish to see a sign from you.” 39 But he answered them, “It’s an evil [ponéros - toilsome, bad] and unfaithful generation that seeks [epizéteó - asks for, inquires, seeks (demands?)] a sign, but no sign will be given except the sign of the prophet Jonah. 40 For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. 41 The men of Nineveh will rise up in (during) the judgment and give judgment against this generation, for they repented at the preaching of Jonah, and see, something greater than Jonah is here. 42 The queen of the South will rise up in (during) the judgment and give judgment against this generation, for she came from the ends of earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and behold, something greater than Solomon is here. 43 “When the unclean spirit has gone out of a person, it goes through dry places seeking rest, but finds none. 44 Then it says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came out.’ And when it returns, it finds the house empty, swept, and put in order. (What shall we fill our house with? 📜🍞➕🍷🕊️) 45 Then the spirit goes and brings with it seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they enter and abide there. And the person is worse off than before. So also will it be with this generation.” (Murdered many Christ-ians. History - of all - is a very sad commentary.)

Shall tribulation, distress, persecution, famine, nakedness, danger, or sword? 36 As it is written! “On account of you we are being killed all the day long.” (Ps.2, Rev.6:4) We are regarded as sheep for slaughter.” 37 But in all these things we are more than conquerors through he who loves us. 38 For I know that neither death nor life, angels nor rulers, things present nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all of creation, is able to separate us from the love of God (displayed) in Christ Jesus our Lord.
