GospeL Verses ~ Matthew 13:44-58
(Jesus talking with his disciples) — 44 - “The kingdom of heaven is like treasure that is hidden in a field. (We have to dig!) When someone finds it, they hide it again, and then in joy they go and sell all they have so they can buy that field. 45 Again, the kingdom is like a merchant looking for fine pearls. 46 And when that one finds a pearl of great value, they go and sell everything they have so they can buy it. 47 Again, the kingdom is like the net that is let down into the lake and catches all different kinds of fish. (Doctrines? Ideas?) 48 And when it is full, it is pulled up to shore and they save the good fish in baskets, but throw the bad out. 49 This is how it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come and separate the evil from among the just 50 and will cast them [autos - 1. self, 2. he, she, it, 3. the same] into the fiery furnace [kaminos - furnace, oven, kiln] where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth. (Fiery - pyr - root of pyros, fire, the heat of the sun, lightning, fig: strife, trials.] (Crucible and laver, life as we presently know it - as all 3 mentions of lake of fire are at huge fiery events. - The word pyr covers it all. This all important contrast makes pur.)
51 “Have you understood all this?” Jesus asked them. “Yes,” they said. 52 “Therefore” he said, “every teacher [grammateus - a writer, scribe] having been discipled in the kingdom is like the owner of a house who brings out of his storehouse treasure both new and old.”
53 When Jesus had finished these parables, they moved on from there. 54 And coming to his hometown, he was teaching the people in the synagogue, and they were amazed. “Where did he get this wisdom and these powers?” they asked. 55 “But isn’t this the carpenter’s son? Isn’t his mother’s name Mary, and aren’t his brothers James, Joseph, Simon and Judas? 56 Aren’t all his sisters with us? Where then did he get all this?” 57 And they took offense at him. But Jesus said, “A prophet is not recognized in their home town and among their own.” 58 And he was not able to do many miracles there because of their lack of belief.

From New Testament Letters
(In the Order Believed Written)
~ Romans 10:1-10 ~
1 - Fellow believers, my heart's desire and prayer to God for my kinsmen is that they may be saved. 2 For I bear witness - they have a zeal for God! But not accurately. 3 For, being unaware of the righteousness of God, they seek to establish their own, and they don’t submit to God's righteousness. (To God’s “way”.) 4 For Christ is the aim [telos - end aim] of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes. [The aim of the law, is Jesus, and His character being implanted in us. Our forever union is with both the Father and the Son.] 5 For Moses wrote about the righteousness that is based on the law, that the person who does the commandments shall live by them. (They were given to Israel because they are society preserving laws, and they are chiseled in stone as to what is Good from notGood, works from cannot ever work.) 6 But the (gift of) righteousness based on faith says, “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’ - that is, to bring Christ/righteousness down, 7 “or ‘Who will descend into the abyss?’ that is, to bring Christ/righteousness up from the dead.” 8 But what is written? “The message is near us, in our mouth and in our heart” - that is, the word of faith that we proclaim. 9 If we say Jesus is Lord and believe in our heart that God raised him from the dead, we are saved. 10 For with the heart we believe and are justified, and with the mouth we (naturally) speak (sooner or later) proving we are saved.
