GospeL Verses ~ John 6:52-7:1

52 - The Jews then argued among theirselves, saying, “How can this man give us his flesh to eat?” (His mortal life.) 53 So Jesus said to them, “Truly, I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. (📜🍞+🍷🕊️) 54 Whoever feeds on my flesh (life/logos) and drinks my blood (the Spirit/Presence of God) has unfading life, and I will raise (resurrect) them on the last day. 55 For my flesh is food that is true, and my blood is the drink that is true. 56 Whoever feeds and drinks of it abides in me, and I in him. 57 As the living Father sent me, and I live because of Him, so too, whoever feeds [trógó - chews] upon me (chews it over! And digests) he also will live because of me. 58 This is the bread that came down from heaven. It’s not like the bread [manna] the fathers ate, and later died. Whoever feeds on this bread will live forever [“to the age/aion” (probably into the age? “eis” - to or into (“the” millennium?)]. 59 Jesus said these things in the synagogue, as he was teaching at Capernaum. 60 And when many who had been following him heard it, they said, “This is a hard teaching, who can understand it?” 61 But Jesus, knowing in himself that his followers were complaining, said to them, “Do you take offense at this? 62 Then what if you were to see the Son of Man ascending to where he was before? 63 It’s the Spirit who gives life. The flesh is no help at all. But the words that I’ve spoken to you are spirit and life. 64 But there are some of you who don’t believe.” For he knew from the beginning who those were who didn’t believe (were not persuaded) [pisteuó - “believe, entrust, from pístis - faith, derived from peíthō - persuade, be persuaded, the believing from God's inbirthing of faith”] and who it was who would betray him. 65 And he said, “This is why I said no one can come to me unless it’s granted to them by the Father.”

66 After this many of his disciples turned back and no longer walked with him. 67 So Jesus said to the twelve, “Do you want to go away as well?” 68 Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, where would we go? You have the words of unfading life, 69 and we have believed, [entrusted, been persuaded] and have come to know, that you are the Holy One of God.” 70 Jesus answered, “Did I not choose you twelve? And yet one of you is a devil?” 71 He spoke of Judas the son of Simon Iscariot, one of the twelve, for he was going to betray him.

7 After this Jesus went about in Galilee. He would not go about in Judea, because the leaders were seeking to (silence and) kill him.

From New Testament Letters

     (In the Order Believed Written)

                  ~ Romans 13:9-14 ~

9 - For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery, you shall not murder, you shall not steal, you shall not covet,” and any other commandment, is summed up in this - “You shall love your neighbor [plésion (reminds me of plebe, which most of us are?) - near, neighboring; the original in the Old Testament is rea - friend, companion, fellow] (love) as yourself.” 10 For love does no wrong to a fellow person! Therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

11 Besides, you know the hour, that it’s time to wake from sleep. For deliverance is nearer to us now than when we first trusted. 12 The night is far gone, the day is at hand! So then let us cast off the workings of darkness and put on the armor of light. 13 Let us walk properly as in the daytime, not in orgies and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and sensuality, not in quarreling and jealousy. 14 But put on the Lord Jesus, and make no provision for the unlawful of self, to gratify its desires. (We should get over it and get with it!? “Those who overcome” …“inherit”. Besides “what does God ask of you oh man, but to act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with thy God..?” Micah 6:8.
