GospeL Verses ~ Luke 17:1-10
1 - Jesus, ever teaching his disciples said, “Temptations are sure to come to all, but woe to the one through whom they come! 2 It would be better for such a one if a millstone were hung around their neck and they were cast into the sea rather than lead one of these little ones astray!
3 Take heed to yourselves. If your brother or sister falls away, warn them, and if they repent forgive them. 4 And if they should sin against you seven times in a day, and turn to you seven times, saying, ‘I repent,’ you must forgive them.” 5 At which point the apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith!” 6 And the Lord said, “If you had faith the size of a mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you.” (A mulberry tree is very tenacious.)
7 “Think of the wealthy vast landowner who has a servant plowing or keeping sheep, will he say to him when he comes in from the field, ‘Come at once and have your dinner’? 8 Will he not rather say, ‘Prepare my supper for me, dress properly, and serve me while I eat and drink, and afterward you may eat and drink’? 9 Does he then thank the servant because he did what was instructed? 10 So you also, when you have done all that you are appointed, say, ‘We are unworthy servants; we have only done what we ought to.’”

~ Ephesians 6:10-18 ~
10 - Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty strength! 11 Put on the whole armor God provides, that you may be able to stand firm against the schemes of the adversary. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, authorities, the cosmic powers over this present darkness. Against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. 13 Wherefore take up the whole armor, that you may be able to withstand in an evil day, and having done all, to remain standing. 14 Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of Truth, and having put on the armor of righteousness, 15 and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness which is given by the gospel of peace [eirΓ©nΓ© - one, peace, quietness, rest] (grace). 16 At all times take up the covering shield of faith, with which to defect all flaming darts of the evil one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sWord of the Spirit, which is the word of God, 18 praying at all times in the Spirit. Steadfastly keep alert, with prayers for all which is holy.
