GospeL Verses ~ Matthew 20:29-34

29 - As Jesus, and his disciples were leaving Jericho, a great crowd was following. 30 There were two blind men sitting by the roadside, and when they heard that Jesus was passing by they cried out, “Lord, have mercy on us, Son of David!” 31 The crowd scolded them, telling them to be silent, but they cried out all the more, “Lord, have mercy on us, Son of David!” 32 And stopping, Jesus called for them and said, “What do you want me to do for you?” 33 They said to him, “Lord, let our eyes be opened.” 34 And moved with compassion, he touched their eyes, and immediately they recovered their sight and joined the crowd that was following him.

                  ~ Philippians 1:27-2:3 ~

27 - Let your manner of life be worthy of this good news of Christ Jesus, so that whether I come and see you or whether I am absent, I will hear that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind, striving side by side for the faith [pistis - faith, faithfulness] of the gospel. 28 Don’t be intimidated by those who oppose you. This will be a clear sign to them that they are lost, but that you are safe [sótéria - delivered, saved, in safety, rescued] and this from God. 29 For it has been granted to you, for the sake of Jesus, that you should not only believe in him but also suffer [paschó - from pathos] for his sake, 30 in the same conflicts as you have seen also with me. 2 So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort from love, any participation in the Spirit (Presence of God) and any affection and sympathy, 2 complete my joy, by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full agreement and of one mind. (Anchored in Truth, the Truth anchored in us. There’s only one 100% accurate Truth. Be Truth virgins of Rev.7:9,4; 14:4, but Mt. Zion is spiritual, Zech.14:4.) 3 Do nothing from self interest and ambition or in vain conceit (and competing!) but in humility esteeming others before yourselves. (Lord heal us of all our blindnesses..)
