GospeL Verses ~ Luke 16:1-15
1 - He told a parable to the disciples, “There was a rich man who had a manager, and accusations were told to him that he was wasting the rich man’s possessions. 2 So he called him and said, ‘What is this that I hear about you?! Turn in the accounts of your management. I will not have you as manager.’ 3 The manager thought to himself, ‘What shall I do? Since the mister is taking the management away from me? I’m not strong enough to dig, and I refuse to beg. 4 I know! I know what to do, so that when I’m removed from this management, people will receive me into their household.’ 5 So, he summoned his master's debtors one by one, and said to the first, ‘How much do you owe my master?’ 6 He answered, ‘A hundred measures of oil.’ So he said, ‘Take your bill, and quickly, write fifty.’ 7 Then he said to another, ‘How much do you owe?’ He said, ‘A hundred measures of wheat.’ So the manager said, ‘Take your bill, and write down eighty.’
8 Now the master commended the dishonest manager for his shrewdness. For the sons of this world are more shrewd in their dealings than the sons of light are. 9 But I say to you, use worldly wealth to benefit others, so when all fails, you will be welcomed.
10 “For one who is faithful in a small matter is also faithful in the large, and one who is dishonest in the small things is dishonest in the large. 11 If then you have been unfaithful in the unrighteous wealth, who will entrust you with the true riches? 12 And if you’ve not been faithful in that which is another's, who will give you that which is your own? 13 I tell you, no one can serve two masters, either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and wealth.”
14 The Pharisees, who were lovers of money, heard this, and were ridiculing him. 15 But he answered, “You justify yourselves before men, but God knows your heart. And what is highly prized among man is detestable in the sight of God.”

~ Ephesians 5:28-6:3 ~
28 - Husbands love your wives as a part of very self. For whoever loves his wife is benefitting himself. 29 For no one hates theirself, but takes good care and cherishes. This is just as Christ is with his followers. 30 We are members of him. [Being built up into a temple of the LORD. Of which Jesus is the forever head.] 31 “Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two are then one.” 32 This is a profound mystery. I am saying that it refers to Christ and the church. 33 However, let each one love his wife as much as his very self. And let the wife therefore also, respect her husband.
6:1 And children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. 2 “Honor your father and mother” - this is the first commandment with a promise, 3 “that it may go well with you and you may live long in the land.”
