John 14:12-21
12 “I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to the Father.” (I can’t think of greater than raising the dead! So I have to think in numbers/scope.. After all that was his instructions (commission).
They “will do the same works” during His long second advent! No fiery pit, lol! The “correction” (kolasin) of all being the SAME process for “all”. Since God is the only one who “chooses” when one is corrected, realizing atonement/reconciliation - during this life or during “the judgment” ..which surely? is THE Day of Atonement the ancient holy day is a shadow of - why would the correction differ, when God does the choosing, and it is not dependent on the better or worse of anybody? I think of it as DOA for the initially doa. “God is Love” 1Jn.4:8.)
13 “Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you ask me anything in my name [onoma - name, authority, cause, character, fame, reputation] I will do it. 15 If you love me, keep my commands (instructions).”
[Commands - entolรฉ - injunction, order(s), from en - in, which intensifies tรฉlos - reach the end, consummation. From entellomai - to command, give orders, emphasizing the end-objective, i.e. reaching the purpose of an order – as envisioning how or where it ends up.] (I.e. He knows what He’s talking about!)

~ 1 Peter 3:7-14 ~
7 Husbands do likewise (adapting to your own wife) living with your wife according to knowledge, as with a weaker vessel (physically less strong, don’t be a bully! In any way.) Treat her with honor, and as joint-heir with you of the grace of life, so that your prayers will not to be hindered.
8 Finally, all of you should be like minded. Sympathize with each other. Love each other as brothers and sisters. Be tenderhearted, and keep a humble attitude. 9 Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing. 10 For the Scriptures say, “If you want to enjoy life and see many happy days, keep your tongue from speaking evil and your lips from telling lies. 11 Turn away from evil (notGood) and do good. Search for peace, and work to maintain it. 12 The eyes of the LORD watch over those who do right, and his ears are open to their prayers [literal, ears of him toward prayers of them]. The face [prosรณpon - face, countenance] however, of the LORD, is against those who do evil.”
13 Who will harm you if you are eager to do what is good? 14 But even if you suffer for doing what is right, God will reward you for it. So don’t worry or be afraid of their threats. [Yes, Peter was later executed for his faith and refusal to take back his testimony about Jesus’ life, crucifixion/execution and resurrection.] (Can ‘they’ reaLLy harm you?)
