Matthew 24:45-51
45 “Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master can make ruler over his household, to give them food in due season?” (Who can he trust, when he breaks the bread of Life, to distribute to the household/people?) 46 “Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he comes, will find so doing. 47 I tell you the truth, the master will put such a servant in charge of all he owns. 48 But suppose that servant is wicked and says to himself, ‘My master won’t be back for a while,’ 49 and he then begins to beat his fellow servants (also with words) and a lot of partying, and getting drunk? 50 The master will return unannounced and unexpected, 51 and will “sever” him (from his employment) and assign his place with the hypocrites [hypokritแธs - pretender, commonly used of actors on the Greek stage] where there is the weeping and gnashing of teeth (misery, and the initial conditions of some on the “last Great” ‘day’, as portrayed in the rich man and Lazarus parable and in the outside of the vision narrative of Rev.22). (Lev.23:36, Jn.7:37)

Paul’s Letter to Titus
~ Titus 1:1-9 ~
1 - Paul, a servant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ to further the faith of God’s chosen (chosen to recieve sight during this brief lifetime) and to further their knowledge of the truth that leads to godliness. 2 In the hope [elpรญs - expectation] of eternal life, which God, who does not lie, promised before the world began. 3 And which now at his appointed season he has brought to light through the preaching entrusted to me by the command of God our Savior, 4 to Titus, my true son in our common faith: Grace and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Savior.
5 I left you on the island of Crete so you could complete our work there and appoint elders in each town as I instructed you. 6 An elder must live a blameless life, be faithful in marriage, whose children are believers and not riotous, or unruly. 7 A church leader as manager of God’s household, must live a blameless life, not arrogant or quick-tempered, not a heavy drinker, violent, nor dishonest with money. 8 But hospitable, a lover of good, self-controlled, upright, holy, and disciplined. 9 And must hold firm to the trustworthy message as taught, so they can encourage others with sound teaching and are able to refute others who contradict.
