John 14:22-31
22 Then Judas (not Judas Iscariot) said, “But, Lord, why do you intend to show yourself to us and not to the world?”
23 Jesus replied, “Everyone who loves me will hear and follow what I say. It’s them my Father will love, and we will come and make our home with each one. 24 But anyone who doesn’t love me will not hear and do as I say.
Remember, my words are not my own. What I am telling you is from the Father who sent me. 25 All this I have spoken to you while I am still with you. 26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, which the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you. 27 I give you my peace, the kind of peace only I can give. It isn't like the peace this world can give. Let not your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid. 28 Remember what I told you, I am going away, but I will come back to you again. If you really loved me, you would be happy that I am going to the Father, who is greater than I am. (He came to them after resurrection and also on Pentecost that summer, via the Holy Spirit which came as an outpouring upon the believers. This is the beginning of his coming and logically, is not all there is! But continues, to the point of his literal and physical presence, a [long] second advent. In which, logically, he will do as he did during the first, with helpers serving, called reigning, for to do his works is surely reigning. And is why he said they/we will do greater works than he did.)
29 I have told you these things before they happen so that when they do happen, you will believe [pisteuรณ: believe, trust]. 30 I will not say much more to you, for the prince of this world is coming. He has no claim/hold over me, 31 but he comes so the world may know that I love the Father and do exactly what my Father has commanded me. Come, let us be going.”
(Jesus was seen by the disciples and some others for forty days after his resurrection, then he was seen ascending back to the Father, at which two angels said he will be seen returning as they saw him leave, and nine days later was Pentecost - another Holy Day literally fulfilled. Pentecost celebrated Israel’s recieving of the ten society preserving commands/commandments. The Spirit/Presence of God poured out on believers/receivers on Pentecost. It’s the very Spirit of God saturating us, which enables us to walk a straight walk, rather than a crooked, self destructive, or just plain “missing the mark” one. Not missing the mark is important as God is Life and “is perfect” ..so imperfect is? But it can only shine from within. As merely imposed from without simply does not work. But the ten were given to show acceptable and Good, from notGood.)

Peter’s First Letter
~ 1 Peter 3:15-22 ~
15 But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope [elpis - expectation] you have. But with gentleness and respect, 16 keeping your conscience clear. Then if people speak against you, they will be ashamed when they see what a good life you live because you belong to Christ. 17 For it is better to obey God and suffer for doing right than to suffer for doing wrong.
18 Christ suffered for sin [hamartia - missing the mark] once for all time. He never sinned (never missed the mark) but he died for us, to bring us safely home to God. Having been put to death, but having been made alive in the Spirit. (It’s the only spirit that can be lived in! Because God, surely?! is Life. Itself. Both the force and the motion of Life, and consciousness and intelligence. And especially the highest of life and iintelligence, which is Love and Genius. Is his blueprint a universe of reason.. or anti-reason? Of intelligence or of serfdom..
He, God who calls himself father, is said to be high (up). And he’s called Most High for a reason. If we’re still only living in our own head, we’re missing the boat!)
19 He went via that same Spirit to preach to those who perished in the flood, who were locked into it by their unbelief. [2Pet.2:5 - Wherein only eight survived, one being Noah “a preacher of righteousness” - ala, Jesus preaching via the Spirit, through Noah.] 20 Because they formerly did not obey/hear, when God’s patience waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight persons, were brought safely through water. 21 And this water symbolizes baptism that now saves us also! Not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God. Saved by the resurrection of Jesus! (Which is the cause, the force of the effect, which effect is, we can now live in that Spirit, which is the Presence of God [with us]. This is not only possible but is the plan, the blueprint if you will. And it’s all done by God!
Can you trust a God who calls himself Father, who is unlimited genius, and also IS love? Who “is perfect” Mt.5:48. This program we’re going through, this winnowing is no accident. “All in heaven” - angelos - “and on Earth” - anthropos, man and angel, are taking this unavoidable journey all together at once. Unavoidable unless God were to opt for a Total Ant Farm. This all ties into - there is NO purgatory. The “correction” on true/ultimate Day of Atonement, is the same correction “kolasin” as some are experiencing now. God works in widening ripples, from Israel only, to the nations as “the wheat” - aka, some, a “first”fruit, implying more harvest to come. And to all on the last great day. At the end of which is the “all in all” fiery regenesis, a new universe, and the extermination of death, and its cause, imperfection. All a living parable, which it seems to me should be called a parable of the decomposing ‘apple’ and the worm that does noT quit. Not without superNATURAL intervention, that is. Happily for all, he built the remedy in from the beginning, before imperfection - a possibility of thinking ability - ever showed up.
So also, the first and second advents.. All the way from ‘small’ pond ripple [scope] to full pond ripple and scope.)
22 Now Christ has gone into heaven and is at God’s right hand, having had subjected to him, angels and authorities and powers. (But not yet “all” - 1Cor.15:22-24,28! W/ Mt.13:33, key word 3.)
