         Mark 10:35-45

35 Then James and John, the sons of Zebedee, came over and spoke to him. “Teacher,” they said, “we want for you to do us a favor.” 36 “What is it you wish me to do?” he asked. 37 They answered, "When you sit on your throne in your glorious Kingdom, we want you to let us sit with you, one at your right side and one at your left side." 38 But Jesus said to them, “You don’t know what you are asking! Are you able to drink from the bitter cup I am about to drink? Are you able to be baptized with the baptism of suffering I must be baptized with?” 39 "Yes, we are!" James and John answered. Then Jesus replied, "You certainly will drink from the cup from which I must drink. And you will be baptized just as I must! 40 But I have no right to say who will sit on my right or my left. God has prepared those places for those he has chosen.” 41 When the ten other disciples heard what James and John had asked, they were offended. 42 Jesus called them together and said, “You know that those who are regarded as rulers of the nations lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. 43 Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, 44 and whoever would be first among you must be laboring for all. 45 For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, he came to serve and to give his life as the redemption-price for a multitude.”

          ~ James 2:9-16 ~

9 But if you favor some people over others, you are committing a sin. You are guilty of breaking the law. 10  Whoever breaks one law/commandment is guilty of breaking them all. (In this case - life - it’s all the same and lawbreaker is a lawbreaker. Why? πŸ€”I think the only logical answer is because God iS life, and he “is perfect”. So ultimately imperfect is the exact opposite of Life. Mt.5:48)

11 The same God who told us to be faithful in marriage also told us not to murder. So even if you are faithful in marriage, but murder someone, you still have broken God's Law. 12 So whatever you say or whatever you do, remember that you will be judged by the law that sets free. (Truth! “The truth will set you free” Jn.8:32.) 13 For judgment is without mercy to the one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment. [Or - But even in judgment, God is merciful! Contemporary English Version (CEV)] 14 My friends, what good is it to say you have faith, if you don’t show it by your actions? Can that kind of faith save anyone? 15 Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food, 16 and you say, “Good-bye and have a good day, stay warm and eat well”—but then you don’t give that person any food or clothing. What good does that do?
