          Luke 13:18-30

18 Jesus said, “What is the Kingdom of God like? What shall I compare it to? 19 It is like a tiny mustard seed planted in a garden, it grows and becomes a tree, and the birds make nests in its branches.” (Gal.3:16 ! ) 20 And again he said, “To what shall I compare the kingdom of God? 21 It is like what happens when a woman mixes yeast into three batches of flour. Finally, ALL the dough rises." (1Cor.15:22-24,28 = 3 harvests.)

     22 Then Jesus went through the towns and villages, teaching as he made his way to Jerusalem. 23 Then said someone to him, “Lord, are there few that be saved?” Jesus said, 24 “Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, try to enter and are not able to. 25 When the master of the house has risen and shut the door, then you begin [archomai - commence) to be outside and knock at the door, saying, ‘Lord, open to us,’ then he will answer you, ‘I do not know where you come from.’ (I don’t know where you’re coming from!?) 26 Then you will say, ‘But we ate and drank with you, and you taught in our streets.’ 27 But he will reply, ‘I don’t know you or where you come from. Away from me, all evildoers!’ 28 (Initial conditions for some on ‘day’ of judgment/discernment.) There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth when you see Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but you yourselves are banished without. 29 And people will come from east and west, and from north and south, and recline at table in the kingdom of God. 30 And indeed, some who are last will be first, and some who are first will be last.”

1 - Finally, my dear friends, since you belong to the Lord Jesus, we urge you to live as we taught you. Then you will please God and abound more and more. 2 For you know what instructions we gave you through the Lord Jesus. 3 God’s will is for you to be holy, so stay away from all sexual sin. 4 Each of you must know how to control their own body in holiness and honor, 5 not as a slave of your desires or like people who don't know God. 6 You must not cheat any of the Lord's followers in matters of sex. Remember, we warned you that he punishes all such. 7 God did not call us to live in immorality, but in holiness. 8 Therefore whoever disregards this, disregards not man but God, the one who gives his Holy Spirit (Presence) to you.
