  GospeL Verses ~ John 2:1-12

1 - And on the third day there was a wedding at Cana in Galilee, to which Jesus’ mother went. 2 Jesus and his (few, first) disciples were also invited to the wedding. 3 When the wine ran out, Mary said to Jesus, “They have no wine.” 4 And Jesus said, “Woman, what does that have to do with me? My hour has not yet come.” 5 His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever he tells you to.” (He knew she would say that, and she knew he would help.) 6. There were six available stone water jars sitting nearby, each able to hold twenty or thirty gallons. 7 So Jesus said to the servants, “Fill those jars with water.” And they filled them up to the top. 8 Then he said, “Now draw some out and take it to the master of the feast.” So they did, 9 and when the master of the feast tasted the water now become wine, and didn’t know where it came from (though the servants who had drawn the water knew), the master of the feast called the bridegroom over 10 and said, “Everyone serves the good wine first! And after the guests have drank freely, then they bring out the poorer wine. But you have kept the best wine until now!” 11 Jesus did this first sign of his glory, at Cana in Galilee. And his disciples believed in him. (And so the followed him, went with him wherever he went.)

12 After this he went with his mother and his brothers and his disciples, down to Capernaum, and they stayed there for a few days.

From New Testament Letters

     (In the Order Believed Written)

                    ~ 2 Corinthians 10:1-6

1 - I, Paul, myself urge you, in the meekness and gentleness of Christ—I who am humble when face to face with you, but bold toward you when I am away!— (lol?) 2 I beg of you that when present with you, I not have to show boldness against some who accuse us of walking according to self interest. 3 For though we walk in human nature, we do not wage war (compete) according to natural (not yet “born again”) human nature. 4 For the weapons that are of ouR warfare, are not those normally employed by human nature, but are of divine POWER for destroying strongholds (strongly held unTruths). 5 We can destroy arguments and every lofty idea raised against the knowledge of God, and can take each one captive to obeying Christ, 6 being able to expunge every dis-obedience, but only when obedience (to God/Truth/allGood and “the way”) is completed first in us. (But not as though we are yet anywhere near “perfect” - Heb.11:40. But we are willing.)
