GospeL Verses ~ Matthew 9:18-26
18 - While he was talking to the crowds, a synagogue leader came and knelt before him saying, “My daughter has just died. But come and put your hand on her, and she will live.” 19 So Jesus got up and went with him, and his disciples also. 20 And just then a woman who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years came up behind him and touched the fringe of his cloak. 21 She said to herself, “If only I can touch his clothing, I’ll be healed.” 22 Jesus turned and seeing her said. “Take heart, daughter, your faith has healed you.” And the woman was healed at that moment.
23 When Jesus entered the synagogue leader’s house and saw the noisy crowd and people playing pipes, 24 he said, “Go out, the girl is not dead but is sleeping.” But they laughed at him. 25 After the crowd was outside, he went in and took the girl by the hand, and she got up. 26 And news of this spread through all that region.

~ Romans 5:1-5 ~
1 - So! Since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus. 2 Through him we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we are now standing. And in this hope [elpis - hope, expectation, trust, confidence, to anticipate, welcome – properly, expectation of what is sure, and in certainty] we boast of the glory of God. 3 And not only this, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance [hupomoné - a patient enduring, from hypó - under and ménō - remain, endure, be steadfast]. 4 Perseverance produces character, and character, hope/espectation. 5 And hope/expectation doesn’t put us to shame [kataischuno - shame, disgrace, put to confusion] because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit (Prescence of God) having been given to us.
