GospeL Verses ~ Matthew 4:24-5:12

24 - The news of Jesus went out into all Syria, and they brought to him all the sick and afflicted with various diseases and pains, those oppressed [daimonizomai - demonized] by demons, and those having seizures, and paralytics, and he healed them. 25 And great crowds were following him, from Galilee and Decapolis, and from Jerusalem and Judea, and from beyond the Jordan River.

5:1 Seeing the crowds, he went up on the mountainside and sat down, all his followers came to him, 2 and he opened his mouth (and out came the same sWord he strikes the nations with - truth, which is also the iron, cannot be broken, measure, Rev.19:15, 12:5) and he taught them, saying, 3 “Blessed are the poor/humble in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 4 “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. 5 Blessed are the meek [praus - mild, gentle] for they shall inherit-the-earth. (Flying to heaven is a myth, Jn.5:28,29.) 6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness and justice (rightness) for they will be satisfied. 7 Blessed are the merciful - for they - will receive mercy. 8 Blessed are the pure in heart (motives) for they shall see God. 9 Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons and daughters of God. 10 Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11 Blessed are you when others insult you, or persecute you and say all kinds of evil against you, slandering you on my account. 12 Rejoice and be glad. For great is your reward  (being stored) in heaven, for so did they persecute the prophets as well.

From New Testament Letters

     (In the Order Believed Written)

                          ~ Romans 1:16-23 ~

16 - For I (Paul) am not ashamed of the gospel. It’s the power of God for salvation (rescue, from death and its cause, hamartia - “missing the mark” as God is Life, surely? and he “is perfect” Mt.5:48, so imperfect is the opposite of life). As it is (the power) toward everyone believing, first (presented) to the Jew and (then) also to the Greek. 17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith, as it is written, “The righteous shall live by faith.” 18 For the wrath of God (cause and effect, results, consequences, the “full cup”) is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who because of their unrighteousness, suppress the truth. 19 For what can be known about God is plain to them (especially to the scientific community) because God has made it evident to them. 20 For his invisible attributes, namely, his divine power and nature, are clearly seen by the things made (by what is) ever since the creation of the world, leaving them without excuse. 21 For although God is known, they do not honor him as God nor give thanks to him, but they become futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts darkened. 22 They claim to be wise, but are become fools, 23 and exchange the glory of the immortal God for images that resemble mortal man or birds and animals and creeping things. (Mankind creates their idols and images and thinks of them as sacred. As though seeing a distant mirror ..and seeing a “false prophet”..)
