GospeL Verses ~ John 4:45-54

45 - When Jesus came to Galilee, the Galileans welcomed him, having seen all that he had done in Jerusalem at the feast. For they too had gone to the feast. 46 So he went again to Cana in Galilee, where he had made the water into wine. But at Capernaum there was an official whose son had taken very ill. 47 When he heard Jesus had come from Judea to Galilee, he looked for him and then asked him to come and heal his son, for he was at the point of death. 48 Jesus answered, “Unless you see signs and wonders you won’t believe.” 49 The official said to him, “Sir, come before my child dies.” 50 Jesus said to him, “Go home, your son will live.” The man believed what him and went on his way. 51 As he was going, his servants met him and told him his son was recovering. 52 So he asked at what hour he began to get better, and they said, “Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him.” 53 The father knew that was the hour when Jesus had said, “Your son will live.” And he believed, and all his household. 54 This now was the second sign and miracle Jesus did when he had come from Judea back to Galilee.

From New Testament Letters

     (In the Order Believed Written)

                            ~ Romans 1:1-7 ~

(Some say Paul made it as far as Spain, before Rome arrested him and had him executed.) This letter is) 1 - To the Roman believers, from Paul, a servant of Christ Jesus, called to be an apostle, set apart for the gospel of God, 2,3 which gospel/good news he promised long ago through his prophets, as written in the holy Scriptures - the gospel/good news concerning his Son, who was descended from David according to the flesh. 4 Who was declared to be the Son of God - in power and in the Spirit of holiness - by his resurrection from the dead! 5 Jesus Christ our Lord, through whom we have received the grace, and the apostleship, of bringing about obedience to the message among all nations (which work/process/program continues during the Lord’s long second advent). 6 This includes you who are called to belong to Jesus, the (one, the only) Christ. 7 To all those in Rome who are loved by God and called to believe: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus.
