GospeL Verses ~ Matthew 25:1-13

1 - “Then” Jesus continued, (at that time) “the kingdom of heaven will be like ten bridesmaids who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. (For in the brightly lit procession.) 2 Five were foolish, and five were wise. 3 When the foolish took their lamps, they took no oil for them, 4 but the wise took flasks of oil with their lamps. 5 As the bridegroom was delayed, they all became tired and dozed off. 6 But at midnight there was the cry, ‘Here is the bridegroom! Come and meet him.’ 7 Then the bridesmaids rose up and trimmed their lamps. 8 And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out!’ 9 But the wise answered, saying, ‘Go to the dealers, there will not be enough for us and for you, and we will all miss the wedding. (Everyone needs lit lamps.) 10 And while they were going to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the brightly lit marriage feast, and the door was shut.

     (After the wedding, the union, there is the banquet, the reception and celebration. And at that time, the door is to “the” millennium.) 11 Afterward the other maids arrived also, saying, ‘Lord, lord, open to us.’12 But he answered, ‘But, I don’t know you.’ 13 Watch therefore, for you do not know the day or the hour.”

                  ~ Titus 1:10-16 ~

10 - For, Titus, there are many who are pretenders, empty babblers and deceivers [phrenapatés - self-deceiving, from phren - outlook from insight, and apatáō - deceive, -  properly, deceivers, leading others into their delusions] especially those of the circumcision party [letter of the law for salvation/earning which actually cannot be done, but “the law” is to show what is wrong/notGood, and was to separate and keep separate, Israel for delivering to the world its savior, and God’s message, the “good news for all”. 11 They are upsetting whole families by teaching what they ought not. And all for shameful gain! 12 One of the Cretans, a prophet of their own, said, “Cretans are always liars, evil beasts, lazy, and gluttons.” 13 This testimony is true. (Of all of us! Before God’s inner rebirth of us.) Therefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith! 14 Not devoting themselves to myths and the advice/teaching of people who turn away from the truth.15 To the pure, all things are pure [foods and days, marital love] but to the corrupt and unbelieving, nothing is pure, but both their minds and their consciences are corrupt. 16 They profess to know God, but they deny him by their works [ergon - work, deed, action, from ergo (energy?)]. They are being  detestable and disobedient [apeithés - literally, unwilling to be persuaded] and so unfit for any good work.
