€XpLoR!n9 ReVeLaTion 5 1-6

       WeeKly BooK oF Revelation

              paraphrased study

1 - Then I (John) saw in the right hand of he who was seated on the throne a scroll which was written on both sides, and sealed with seven seals. 2 And I saw a mighty angel asking in a loud voice, “Who is worthy to open the scroll and break open its seals?” 3 And there was no one in heaven or upon earth or even under the earth who was able to open the scroll or to look into it, 4 and I began to openly weep because no one was found worthy to open the scroll or to look into it. 5 But one of the elders said to me, “Weep no more, look, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has conquered. So HE can open the scroll and break open its seven seals.”

6 And then between the throne and the four living creatures and among the elders I saw a Lamb standing, looking as if it had been slain. It had seven horns and seven eyes which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth.

(Jesus first advent ministry began and ended with a “John” which name means - Yhvh is merciful - Yhvh is gracious - and or - God’s gift. God gives?))

(“As though slain..” In the vision, Jesus went from ascension to Revelation chapter 5?)
