ENTER THE STORY - A NEW TESTAMENT READING SCHEDULE

Note: It was a highly accelerated biG banG into the universe that is,  like a clock not running, and then,  it was set in motion. “The lion will eat straw
like the ox..
the bear will graze
with the cow” Isaiah 11:7.
(But first Isaiah 24:20, Rev.10:4.)
{Ps.91,46,23, Rev.7:15-17}

List of Some Translator Errors, due to partial disbelief? ~~ Not including God’s riddles/hiding things in plain sight. ~~ Changed “all” whenever possible, to “all things” Rev.21:5, Eph.1:10, Jn.13:3, 1Cor.15:27, five times! And so repeating what 5 times? ..And more. But not 2Tim.3:16 or 1Cor.15:28, for example. ~~ Often rendered not into never and aion/eon into forever. ~~ Translating hamartia - missing the mark, into “sin” (trespass) misses the mark a little. (God is Life, and “is perfect” Mt.5:48, a conundrum for imperfect/missing the mark. But no option to stray in Eden, and creation would have to be an ant farm.) ~~ Of course five separate words turned into ‘hell’, even pit when “dust of” is in the verse & Ps.30:9. The three mentions of lake of fire are at very large, fiery events. Not very understandable in 95 CE or thereabouts, Is.24:20, Rev.10:4

 (Ps.91,46,23, Rev7:15-17)

11-21 - John 17 12 - 18 2

🌙 [Jesus continues his prayer.] 12 - “While I was with them, I have kept them in your name [onoma - name, character, fame, reputation, cause] that you’ve given to me. I’ve guarded them, and not one of them has been lost except the son of destruction [apóleia - destruction, ruin, loss, perdition/utter ruin {but “God is savior of all” 1Tim.4:10}] just as the scripture said.

     13 But now I’m coming to you, and these things I speak while still in the world, so they may have my joy in them. 14 I’ve given them your word, your message. [Lógos - from légō - speaking to a conclusion - a word, being the expression of a thought, a saying, a common term - sharing a message, discourse, communication, speech, a broad term meaning reasoning expressed by words.] “And the world has hated them. Because they’re not of the world, just as I’m not of the world. 15 I don’t ask that you take them out of the world. But that you keep them from the evil of it. 16 They’re noT of the world, just as I’m not of the world. 17 Sanctify (purify) {and make whole} them in the truth. Your word is truth.”

     {Untruth is like an old cloth of raggedy holes? Two opposite ‘holeys’! Life versus entropy..}

    18 “As you sent me into the world, so I send them into the world. 19 And for their sake I sanctify [hagiazó - sanctify, make holy, consecrate, purify, set apart] myself, that they also may be sanctified by truth.” [Sanctified “by” - (en: in, on, at, by, with, among) truth. ..Washed.]

     {1Cor.3:14-17 talks about error and falsehood as polluting our temple - (Paul wrote) - “If anyone’s work they’ve done, endures, they’ll receive a reward {they’ll share in the reward?} Do you not know? You are a temple of God and the Spirit {Presence) of God dwells in you? If anyone pollutes God's temple..” ..Remember the dude who reached out his hand to steady the Ark of the Covenant? It’s best if our message is holy and not holey..? About that dude, death is as a transplanting into an as yet untilled garden awaiting resurrection “into aionion kolasis” / eonian korrection / age of correction, the GWT ‘Day’. And the person is hades/not seen, being in a (temporary) state of being gone.}

     20 “I don’t ask only for these, but also for those who will believe in me through their testimony. 21 That they will all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you. That they also will be in us. And the world will believe that you have sent me. {Alas, fulfilled during long second advent? As there will be survivors of Armageddon as a thousand years later, who does the adversary go out and gather from all over the globe, to surround the millennial Jerusalem for another Armageddon ..Coincidentally, two of the three mentions of a “lake of fire” are at these two armageddon events.}

     22 “The glory that you’ve given me, Father, I give to them. So that they may be one, even as we are one. 23 I in them, and you in me. That they will become perfectly one, so the world will know that you sent me and that you love them even as you love me.

     24 Father, I desire [theló -  will, wish, desire, intend] that they also, whom you’ve given me, will be with me where I am, to see my glory that you’ve given to me, because you loved me before the foundation of the world.

     25 Oh righteous Father, even though the world doesn’t know you, I know you. And these know that you have sent me. 26 I made known to them your name [onomo - name, reputation, cause] and I will continue to make it known {the cause} that the very love with which you have loved me, may be in them. And I in them.”

     18:1 - And when he had spoken these words, he went out with the disciples across Kidron Brook, into a garden there. 2 And Judas, who betrayed him, also knew the place, for Jesus often went there with his disciples.

11-21 - 1 Corinthians 11 1-10

 N.T. in a year reading & study, verses R paraphrased [  ] references {  } thots

☀️ [Continuing, addressing questions the Corinthian believers had sent in a letter] 1 - Be imitators of me [Paul], as I am of Christ. 2 I’m happy that you’ve been keeping the instructions and traditions as I handed them on to you.

3 Custom tells us the head of a wife is her husband, the head of every man is Christ, and the head of Christ is God. 4 Every man who prays or prophesies with his head covered dishonors his head, 5 but every wife who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonors her head, since it’s the same as if her head were shaved. 6 Yes, if she refuses to wear a head covering, she should cut off all her hair! But since it’s shameful for a woman to have her hair cut or her head shaved, she should wear a covering. 7 A man should not wear anything on his head when worshiping, for man is made in God’s image and reflects God’s glory. And woman reflects man’s glory. 8 For man is not of woman, but woman of man. 9 And also was a man not created because of the woman, but a woman because of the man. 10 That is why a wife ought to have a symbol of authority on her head, because of the angels. {Protection?} [Exousia - authority, power, right, jurisdiction, from exesti - what is allowed or permissible under the law or custom.] {Paul also wrote “..there is neither Jew nor Greek.. male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus” - Gal.3:28. Genesis 5:2 - “God created them male and female, and named them Adam [adam - man, mankind]”.}

11-20 - John 17 1-11

 N.T. in a year reading & study, verses R paraphrased [  ] references {  } thots

🌙 1 - When Jesus had said all these things, he looked up toward heaven, and he said, “Father, the hour is come. Glorify your Son, for then the Son will glorify you. 2 [Kathos: as, just as, even as, in the same way as] you have given him authority {say and sway?} over all flesh to give enduring life to all you’ve given him. 3 And this is the enduring life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.

     4 I glorified you upon earth, having accomplished the work you gave me to do. 5 And now, Father, glorify me in your own presence with the glory that I had with you before the world existed.

    6 I’ve made known your name [onoma - name, character, fame, reputation, cause] to the ones you gave me out of the world. They were yours and you gave them to me. And they have kept your word. 7 Now they know that everything that you have given me is from you. 8 For I’ve given them the words that you gave me, and they have received them and have come to know in truth that I came from you. And they have believed that you sent me. 9 I’m praying for them. I’m not praying for the world but for those you’ve given me, for they are yours. 10 All mine are yours, and yours are mine, and I’m glorified in them. 11 And I’m no longer in the world, but they’re in the world, and I’m coming to you. Holy Father, keep them in your name [onoma - name, character, fame, reputation, cause] which you’ve given to me - that they may be one - even as we are one.”

ACTS 10 1-20

 N.T. IN A YEAR READING & STUDY [ ]REFERENCES { }THOTS, VERSES R PARAPHRASED

      The Acts of the First Believers

1 - At Caesarea there was a man named Cornelius, a centurion of a Roman military guard. 2 He was a devout man who revered God along with all his household. He gave alms generously to the people, and he prayed daily to God. 3 At about the ninth hour on a certain day, he saw in a clear vision, an angel of God come in and say, “Cornelius.”

     4 Which frightened him. And he said, “What is it, Lord?” And the angel of the LORD said, “Your prayers and giving of gifts have risen like incense before God. 5 Send some men to Joppa and bring the man Simon who’s called Peter. 6 He’s staying with a leather tanner, whose name is Simon and whose house is by the sea.” 7 When the angel had left, he called two of his hired servants and a devout soldier, 8 and relating everything to them, he sent them off to Joppa for Peter.

     9 On the next day, as they were nearing the city, at about the sixth hour, an hour of prayer, Peter was on the housetop. 10 While praying he became hungry and was waiting for something to eat, while they were preparing the meal. He fell into a trance 11 and saw the heavens opened. And saw something like a great sheet descending. It was being let down by its four corners onto the earth. 12 And in it were all kinds of animals, reptiles and birds of the air.

     13 And there came a voice, saying, “Rise, Peter, kill and eat.” 14 But Peter said, “No LORD! For I’ve never eaten anything that is common or unclean!” 15 And the voice came again, saying “What God has made clean, don’t call common [koinoó - common, not special].”16 This happened three times. And then the sheet was taken up the way it came.

    17 While Peter was puzzled as to what the vision might mean. Meanwhile the men who had been sent by Cornelius, having asked kn town where the house of the tanner by the sea was, were standing at the gate. 18 And they called out to ask whether Simon who was called Peter was there. 19 Peter was still pondering the vision, and the Spirit of God said to him, “Behold, three men are looking for you. 20 Go down and accept them without hesitation, for I’ve sent them here to ask for you.”

     {Hebrews were supposed to remain “separated” (called out) from the nations/world - to preserve their own (righteous) culture - in order to birth into the world, the “savior of the world” somewhat in context, as opposed to being born among strange customs?}

11-20 - 1 Corinthians 10 25-33

N.T. IN A YEAR READING & STUDY [ ]REFERENCES { }THOTS, VERSES R PARAPHRASED

☀️ 25 - Eat whatever’s sold in the meat market without asking questions of conscience concerning it. 26 For “the earth is the Lord's, and the fullness thereof.” {Did some “covering angels” of and over animals, join the “covering angel over Eden”, when he went rogue? - Which of course Creator God knew he was about to go rogue when he assigned him to Eden. -  And this made some animals become predator? And if man had not become carnivore, humanity would have become prey? ..See how “all of heaven and earth are traversing this unavoidable, all important contrast, all together at once. Angelos and anthropos.}

     27 If an unbeliever invites you to dinner and you accept, eat whatever’s set before you without asking any questions. 28 But if someone says to you, “This has been offered in sacrifice,” then don’t eat it, for the sake of the one who pointed it out. 29 I’m not talking about your conscience, but theirs. For why should my liberty be determined by someone else's conscience? {Hello? Divisive carnal influencers.}

     30 If I partake with thankfulness, why am I denounced (judged) for that which I give thanks?

     31 So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do {including weekly Sabbath or everyday Sabbath} do all for the glory of God. 32 Give no offense to Jews or to Greeks or to the church of God, 33 just as I try to please everyone in the things I do, not seeking my own satisfaction, but that of others, that many may be delivered. {That many might come to the Truth, not stalled over secondary issues of individual conscience. Delivered to friendship to and lordship of Jesus, and to Father’s program. What is God doing? How is he doing it, and most importantly why.. No option to stray in Eden, would be creation as an Ant Farm? So this imperfection/entropy, slow gehenna, one and done?}

11-19 - Luke 22 24-38

N.T. IN A YEAR READING & STUDY [ ]REFERENCES { }THOTS, VERSES R PARAPHRASED

🌙 24 - The disciples were debating among theirselves, which of them would be the greatest. {Lol. Part of human condition.} 25 Knowing it, Jesus said, “The kings of the nations rule and those in authority are called great, and benefactor. {And what they give they can take away?} 26 But it’s not to be so with you. Rather, the greatest among you, should be as the youngest. And the leader as one who serves. 27 For who is greater? (In the world.) One who reclines at table, or the one who serves? Is it not the one who reclines at table? But here I am with you, as the one who serves.

     28 You are those who’ve been with me during my trials, 29 and I delegate to you, as my Father delegated to me, a kingdom. 30 That you may eat and drink at my table - in my kingdom - and you disciples sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.” {Like the Hebrew judges of old?}

     31 “Simon Peter, Satan has wanted to break through upon you.. It will sift you like wheat” {beating the chaff/husk off the kernel of wheat}. 32 I’ve prayed for you that your faith not fail you. And when you’ve recovered, strengthen your brothers.”

     33 Peter said, “Lord, I’m ready to go with you both to prison and to death!”

     34 Jesus said, “I tell you, Peter, the rooster won’t crow in the morning until you’ve denied knowing me three times.”

     35 Then to all of them, he said, “When I sent you out with no bag, moneybag or extra sandals, did you lack anything?”

     “No,” they said. 36 “But now” Jesus said, “let the one who has a bag take it, and likewise a moneybag. And let the one who has no sword sell his cloak and buy one. 37 For I tell you that this Scripture must be fulfilled, ‘And he was numbered with criminals.’ For what’s written is always fulfilled.”

     38 And they said, “Look! Here are two swords.” And he said, “It’s enough.” {Mood, atmosphere.. they were going out into danger.. That night, and the disciples later as well.}

11-19 - 1 Corinthians 10 14-24

N.T. IN A YEAR READING & STUDY [ ]REFERENCES { }THOTS, VERSES R PARAPHRASED

☀️ 14 - Therefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry. 15 I speak as to sensible people. Judge for yourselves what I say. 16 The cup of blessing that we bless, is it not a participation in the blood of Christ? The bread that we break, is it not a participation in the body of Christ? {They did it literally during meal time/breaking of bread, but it’s also meant for us as a spiritual formula? For truest spiritual success, our daily bread, the written logos to us, dipped liberally into the new wine of God’s Spirit/Presence.. Especially in these days of high information technology, it’s better to be “mind-washed” by GOD’s message - logos means “reasoning expressed in words” so God’s reasoning - than by the world’s reasoning and voice. We can easily get past the human translator errors in the message, which has more or less hijacked the message! And, like we dump the pieces of a jigsaw puzzle out on the table, and we then separate the pieces which are the border.. and then the color matching parts.. We need to know the bible, to see the pieces and where they fit.}

     17 There is the one bread (Christ) and we who are many are one body. For we all partake of the one bread. 18 Consider the people of Israel, were not those who ate the sacrifices, participants in the altar? 19 What do I imply then? That food offered to idols of the nations is anything? Or that an idol is anything? 20 No, I imply that what pagans sacrifice they offer to demons and not to God. Surely you shouldn’t be participants with demons. 21 You cannot drink the cup of the LORD and the cup of demons. You cannot partake of the table of the LORD and the table of demons. 22 Shall we provoke the LORD to jealousy? Are we stronger than he?

     23 “Such things are lawful” {like eating meat from the market place that has been offered to an idol of the world} but not all things are helpful. “Such things are lawful,” but not all things build up. 24 Let no one seek his own good, but the good of his neighbor. {Don’t argue about days and foods?! ..Paul was saying if eating food sacrificed to an idol will offend your brother or sister, consider that, instead of what our own wishes might be.}

11-18 - John 16 17-33

N.T. IN A YEAR READING & STUDY [ ]REFERENCES { }THOTS, VERSES R PARAPHRASED

🌙 17 - So some of the disciples said to each other, “What is this he’s saying? ‘A little while, and you’ll not see me, and again a little while, and you’ll see me’? And, ‘because I’m going to the Father’? 18 What does he mean by ‘a little while’? We don’t understand.”

     19 Jesus knew they wanted to ask, so he said, “Are you wondering, what I mean, ‘A little while and you won’t see me. And again a little while and you’ll see me’?

    20 Truly, I tell you, you will weep and mourn, but the world will rejoice. You’ll be sorrowful, but your sorrow will turn to joy. 21 When a woman gives birth, she has sorrow because her hour has come, but when she’s delivered the baby, she no longer remembers the pain and labor, for joy that a human being has been born into the world! 22 So also you have sorrow now, but I’ll see you again, and your hearts will rejoice. And then no one will take your joy from you. 23 In that day you’ll ask nothing of me. Truly, I tell you, whatever you ask of the Father in my name [onoma - name, reputation, cause] he’ll give it to you. 24 Until now you haven’t asked in my name. Ask, and you’ll receive, so your joy will be full.

     25 “I’ve said these things to you in figures of speech. But the hour’s coming when I’ll no longer speak to you in parables and illustrations but will tell you plainly about the Father. 26 In that day you’ll ask in my name, and I don’t say I’ll ask the Father on your behalf. 27 For the Father himself loves you, because you have loved me and believe that I came from Him. 28 I came from the Father and have come into the world, and now I’m leaving the world and going (back) to the Father.”

     29 The disciples said, “Now you’re speaking plainly! And not using parables and proverbs. 30 Now we know that you know all things and don’t need anyone to question you. And this is why we know you came from God.”

     31 Jesus answered, “Do you now believe? 32 Behold, the hour’s coming, indeed has come, when you’ll be scattered, each to his own home, and will leave me alone. Yet I won’t be alone, for the Father’s with me. 33 I’ve said these things to you, so that in me you may have peace. In the world you’re bound to have tribulation. But take heart! I’ve overcome the world.”

11-18 - 1 Corinthians 10 7-13

☀️ 7 - Don’t be idolaters as some were, as it’s written, “The people sat down to eat and to drink and rose up to play.” 8 We mustn’t indulge in sexual immorality as some of them did. And twenty-three thousand fell in a single day. 9 We shouldn’t put Christ to the test, as some did and were overcome by serpents, 10 nor grumble, as some did and were destroyed by the destroyer. 11 Now these things happened to them as an example, but they were written down for our instruction, on whom the end of the ages has come. {70 CE as the end of ages, beginning of the “time of the gentiles/nations” which will have its fuller scope end of the age(s).}

     12 Therefore let anyone who thinks they stand take heed lest they fall. {Especially should we think we are superior.. on a higher level than others? Can’t err..?} 13 No temptation has overtaken you that isn’t common to man. God is faithful, and won’t let you be tested beyond your ability, but with the temptation [peirasmos - temptation, trial, testing] he will also provide the way of escape [ekbasis- output, way of escape, exit] that you may be able to endure [hupophero - endure, suffer, bear up under] it.

🌙 1 - “I (Jesus) have told you all these things to keep you from falling away. 2 They’ll put you out of the meeting places. Indeed, the hour’s coming when whoever kills you will think they’re doing God a favor. 3 And they’ll do these things because they haven’t known the Father. Nor me. 4 But I’ve told you, so when the hour comes, you’ll remember that I told you.

     I didn’t tell you these things before, because I was with you. 5 But now I’m going to the one who sent me, and none of you asks me, ‘Where are you going?’ 6 But because I’ve said these things, sorrow has filled your hearts. 7 Nevertheless, I tell you truly, it’s to your advantage that I go away, for if I don’t, the Helper won’t come. But if I go, I’ll send him to you. [“Helper” - paraklétos - properly one called near to give help.] 8 And when he comes {God’s Spirit/Presence (with us)} he will convince the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment. 9 Concerning sin, because they don’t believe in me. 10 Concerning righteousness, because I go to the Father, and you’ll see me no longer. 11 Concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged. {THE scapegoat/azazel?}

     12 I still have many things to tell you, but you cannot bear [bastazó - bear, carry, endure, support] them now. 13 When however the Spirit of the Truth comes, he’ll guide you into all truth, for he won’t speak of (about?) himself, but will [akouó - hear, listen, understand] and [laleó -  speak, talk, utter] and will declare to you the things coming. 14 He will glorify {and magnify?} me. For from that which is mine he will disclose to you. 15 All that the Father has is mine. Therefore I said that he will take what is mine, and will make it known to you.

     16 A little while, and you’ll see me no more. And then again, in a little while, you’ll see me.”

☀️ 1 - For I (Paul) don’t want you to be unaware that our fathers were - all - under the cloud. And they - all - passed through the sea. 2 And all were baptized into Moses, in the cloud {of God’s Presence/Spirit} and in the sea. 3 And all ate the same spiritual food, 4 and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank from the spiritual Rock that followed them. And that Rock was Christ. 5 Nevertheless, with most of them God wasn’t happy and {as things will have it} they fell in the wilderness {wandering}.

     6 These things took place as examples for us {and for all, for all time}. That we might not desire the evil [kakos - bad, evil, wicked, harmful] things.

     {But no option to stray would be an ant farm. So there’s this present imperfection/entropy, and “God is savior.. HE” having “subjected all to (this) futility” 1Tim.4:10, Ro.11:32. 🌙 [To his disciples on the eve of his crucifixion, continued.] 18 - “If the world hates you, know that it hated first. 19 If you were of the world, the world would include you as its own. But since you’re not of the world, and I chose you out of the world, the world doesn’t like you.

     20 Remember how I said to you, ‘A servant isn’t greater than their master.’ If they” {who? ruling powers/the world} “persecuted me, they’ll persecute you. If they kept my word, they’ll keep yours. 21 But all these things they’ll do to you on account of my name [onoma - name, cause] because they don’t know the one who sent me. 22 If I hadn’t come and spoken, they wouldn’t be exposed, but now they have no cover. 23 Whoever hates me, hates my Father also. 24 If I hadn’t done among them the works that no one else has done, they wouldn’t be guilty. But now they have seen these things {all that occurred} and have hated both me and my Father. 25 But, the words written in the Law itself will be fulfilled, ‘They hated me without cause.’

     26 When the Helper comes, whom [hos, hé, ho - who, what, which, that] I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, that proceeds from the Father” {the Father’s Presence gone forth} “will bear witness about me. 27 As will you, because you’ve been with me during it all.”

Book of Revelation

     {Chapter 12 is the second of three tellings of the revelation vision, but may apply otherwise as well?}

     1 - A great sign appeared in heaven! A woman who was clothed with the sun and the moon was under her feet. Upon her head was a crown of twelve stars. 2 She was with child and was crying out because of her birth pains and the torment of giving birth.

     3 And then another sign appeared in heaven - behold! A great red dragon. This dragon had seven heads and ten horns. And on the heads were seven royal crowns. [“The ‘god’ of this world” 2Cor.4:4 (who ends up being seven “changing” versions of false “light”/entities/‘world’ empires, throughout Earth’s ages.] 4 His tail swept down a third of the stars of heaven and cast them to the earth. {Obviously, this is one third of the angels, as surely(?) some angels followed the cherubim which plotted his revolt using Eden - “you were a covering angel [kerub - probably an order of angelic beings, cherub, cherubim — “Yahweh Sabaoth throned on the cherubim” 1Sam.4:4, referring to the Ark of the Covenant. A symbol. Cherubim - a high angel devised in his heart to “ascend above God”. And from being a high angelic being, became a dragon.}

     And the dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth so that when she bore her child he might devour [kill] it. 5 She gave birth to a manchild, one who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron {with Truth, a measuring rod that cannot be broken}. But instead he was caught up to God and to his throne. 6 And the woman {after that, and at the razing of Jerusalem in 70 CE} fled into the wilderness, where she {the faith} had a place prepared by God, in which she was to be fed [trephó - made to grow, nourished] for 1,260 ‘days’.

☀️ 24 - Do you realize that in a race all the runners run, but only one wins? So run, so that you win the prize! {Higher self or lower self, which shall it be?} 25 An athlete works hard to stay fit. And this in hopes of receiving a winner’s crown that perishes. But we’re aiming for an imperishable crown [of Life] {not metal}. 26 So I don’t run in circles and without direction and goalpost, or like one beating at the air. 27 But I master my {own} self, keeping my {own} self under watch, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified!

11-15 - John 15 1-17

N.T. IN A YEAR READING & STUDY [ ]REFERENCES { }THOTS, VERSES R PARAPHRASED

🌙 (Jesus continues on the eve of his crucifixion) 1 - “I am the vine, and my Father is the vinedresser” [geórgos - from γῆ - gē, meaning earth or land, and ἔργον - ergon, meaning work or task — (vinedresser) someone who works the land, worker of the soil to plant, harvest, nurture and protect].

     2 “A branch of the vine that doesn’t bear fruit he takes away {from the plant/vine}. And a branch that does bear fruit he prunes. This is so it will bear more fruit.

     3 Already you’ve been pruned” [katharos - cleansed, purified, clear, free of contamination, english - catharsis, released] “because of the message I’ve spoken to you. 4 Abide in me, and I in you. The branch can’t bear fruit by itself. But only if it abides upon and with the vine.

     And neither can you, unless you abide in me. 5 I’m the vine. You’re the branches. Abide in me, and I in you, and you will bear much fruit. Apart from me, you can do nothing.” {Being apart from him is futile?}

     6 “If anyone doesn’t abide in me, they’ll be a like a branch that’s fallen to the ground. Such branches dry up and wither, and then they are gathered, and thrown into the fire”. {Not a forever pit called ‘hell’. Root word of logic, is logos. So with the parable of the wheat and tares, and the context and timing}

     7 IF you abide in me, and my words abide in you, whatever you ask, will be done. 8 By this my Father will be glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples. 9 As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love. 10 If you keep my words and instructions, you’ll abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father's words and instructions and abide in his love. 11 These things I’ve spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that it may be full.

     12 “This is my instruction [entolé - command, order, instruction] that you love one another, as I have loved you. 13 Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. 14 You are my friends if you do what I tell you. 15 No longer do I call you servants, for the servant doesn’t know what their master is doing. But I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you. 16 You didn’t choose me. I chose you and I have appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should endure, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you. 17 These things I tell you, so that you will love one another.

☀️ 17 - For if I (Paul) do this (preach and teach while still mostly supporting himself) willingly, I have a reward. But if not willingly, still, I’m entrusted with a stewardship! 18 What then is my reward? That in my preaching I may present the gospel free of charge! By not making use of my right in the gospel. 19 For I consider myself free from all. And have made myself to be as a servant to all, that I might win all the more {over to Jesus, the savior from imperfection, which is entropy-which “doesn’t quit”}. 20 To the Jews I’m as a Jew, in order to win Jews. To those under the law I’m as one under the law, that I might win those under the law. {In Jesus, concerning the law, we are not required, we are enabled. Our nature is changed. Jesus in us, and us in him.} 21 To those outside the law I am as one outside the law, not as outside the law of God but under the law of Christ, that I might win those outside the law. {Not too ‘righteous’ to find common ground! Yet enabled to “overcome”.} 22 To the weak I am weak, that I might win the weak. I’ve become all things to all people {finding common ground (last yr’s note)} that by all means I might save some. 23 I do it all for the sake of the gospel, that I may share with them, its blessings. {Where is the hyped up, afterlife mythical threat?}

🌙 22 - Judas (not Iscariot) said to him, “Lord, how is it that you’ll reveal yourself to us, and not to the world?” 23 Jesus answered, “To those who love me, who will keep my word, my Father will love them, and we’ll come to them, and make our home with them. 24 And whoever doesn’t love me, doesn’t keep my words. And the word (message) you hear me say isn’t mine, but is from the Father who sent me.

      25 These things I’ve spoken to you while I’m still with you. 26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit {Presence of God, to be with you} which the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I’ve said to you. 27 Peace I leave with you. My peace, I give to you. Not as the world gives, so let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. 28 You heard me say to you, ‘I’m going away, and I’ll come again.’ If you love me, you’ll rejoice, because I’m going to the Father, and the Father is greater than I am. 29 And now I’ve told you beforehand, so when it happens, you’ll believe. 30 I won’t talk much more, for the ruler of this world is coming. He has no claim on me, 31 but I do as the Father has instructed me, so the world may know that I love the Father. Come, let us go from here.”

      ☀️ 12 - If others share this rightful claim upon you, do we not, even more so? Nevertheless, we have not made use of this right, but we endure anything rather than put an obstacle in the way of the good news of Christ.

     13 Do you know, those who are employed in the temple service get their food from the temple? And those who serve at the altar share in the sacrificial offerings upon it? 14 In the same way, the Lord instructed that those who proclaim the gospel should get their living by the gospel (Matthew 10:10; Luke 10:8; compare Galatians 6:6).

      15 But I’ve made no use of this, nor am I writing these things to obligate any such provision. For I would rather die than have anyone deprive me of my grounds for boasting! 16 For if I preach the gospel - that gives me no ground for boasting! For compulsion is laid heavily upon me. Woe to me! If I do not preach the gospel! {The zeal cannot easily be denied.. if so, will dry up?}

🌙 [Jesus continues, on the eve of his crucifixion.] 12 - “Truly, I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works that I do. And greater [megas - large, great, in the - widest - sense] works than these they will do, because I’m going to the Father.

     13 Whatever you ask in my name [onoma - name, authority, cause] I’ll do it, this is so the Father will be glorified in the Son. 14 If you ask me anything in my name [authority, cause] I’ll do it.

     15 If you love me, you’ll keep my instructions. 16 And I’ll ask the Father, and he’ll give you another helper, this one to be with you to the age, 17 even the Spirit of truth, whom the world is unable to receive, because it doesn’t see him or know him. You know him. For he is with you, and, will be in you. {The Father’s Presence.}

     18 I’m not leaving you as orphans, but I’ll come to you. 19 Yet a little while and the world will no longer see me, but you’ll see me. And because I live, you’ll live also. 20 In that day you’ll know I’m in my Father, and you in me, and I in you. 21 Whoever has my instructions and keeps them, it is they who love me. And they who love me will be loved by my Father, and I will love them and make myself known to them.”

     {Best way to know Jesus and the Father - is to follow Jesus’ instructions? “Love God.” One rule, because when genuine, the second is also!}

☀️ 1 - Am I not free? Am I (Paul) not an apostle? Haven’t I seen Jesus our Lord? Are you not my evidence in the Lord? 2 If to others I’m not an apostle, at least I am to you, for you are the fruit and proof of my apostleship in the Lord. 3 This is my defense to those who would test me. 4 Do we too have the right to eat and drink? 5 Do we have the right to take along a believing wife, as do the other apostles and the brothers of the Lord and Peter? 6 Or is it only Barnabas and I who are criticized and haven’t the right to not toil for a living? 7 Who serves as a soldier at his own expense? Who plants a vineyard without eating any of its fruit? Or who tends a flock without getting some of the milk?

     8 Do I say these things on human authority? Does not the Law say the same? 9 For it’s written in the Law of Moses, “You shall not muzzle an ox when it treads out the grain.” Is it only for oxen that God is concerned? 10 Does he not certainly speak for our sake? It was written for our sake, because the plowman should plow in hope. And the thresher should thresh in hope of sharing in the crop. 11 If we have sown spiritual things among you, is it a great thing if we reap earthly things among you? (Verse 4.)

🌙 (Jesus continues..) 1 - “Don’t be sad and troubled.” {He’s going away. His words are radiant and full of life. People are awesome, and he is the most awesome. He’s going away on a far journey,

and has not told them when he will get back.}

     “You believe in God, believe also in me. 2 In my Father's house” {will be the “kosmos”/creation, Rev.21:1-5} “there are many abiding places.” [Monḗ - dwellings, abiding places, mansions; from ménō - to remain, abide, an abiding-dwelling-place (not transitory) is only used twice in the NT, both times by Jesus.]

     “If it wasn’t so, would I tell you that I go to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. {I go to be crucified.. that you may be where I am. Abiding in God’s perfect kingdom.} 4 And you know the way to where I’m going.”    5 Thomas said, “Lord, we don’t know where you’re going, so how can we know the way?” 6 Jesus said, “Thomas, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to {union/friendship with} the Father except through me. 7 And if you know me, you know my Father. From now on you do know him and you have seen [eidó - saw, perceived, have known, aware of] him.”

     8 Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father, and it’ll be enough for us!” 9 Jesus said, “Have I been with you all this time, and you still don’t know [ginóskó - to know, come to know, perceive, recognize] me, Philip?” {Only straight out from God one.. so close both administer God’s Spirit/Presence. Same as will saturate and “seal” humanity and creation.} “Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10 Do you not know that I’m in the Father, and the Father is in me? The words that I say to you I don’t speak on my own, but the Father who dwells in me is doing - his works. 11 Believe me that I’m in the Father and the Father is in me. Or else believe because of the works you saw me do.”

☀️ 9 - But take care that this right of yours doesn’t somehow become a stumbling block to someone else. 10 For if anyone sees you eating in an idol's temple, will they not be encouraged, even if their conscience is weak concerning it, to eat food offered to idols? 11 And so by your freedom (because you know there are no other ‘gods’) this other one is harmed, the brother or sister for whom Christ died. 12 Thereby, trespassing against one another, wounding their conscience when it’s weak, is also against Christ. 13 Therefore, if food makes my brother or sister stumble, I won’t eat meat lest I cause them to stumble. {Or drink wine.. Eat pork.. “Hast thou faith? Have it alone before God” Ro.14:22.}

11-11 - JOHN 13 1-20

 N.T. IN A YEAR READING & STUDY [ ]REFERENCES { }THOTS, VERSES R PARAPHRASED

🌙 1 - It was before the Feast of Passover and Jesus knew the hour had come to leave the world, and go {back} to the Father. Having loved his disciples and followers, he loved them to the end. 2 Now during supper, the devil had already put it into the heart of Judas Iscariot to betray him. 3 But Jesus, knowing the Father had put all in his hands, and that he had come from God, and was returning to God, 4 rose from supper, laid aside his outer clothing, and took a towel and tied it around his waist. 5 Then he poured some water into a basin and began to wash the disciples' feet and to wipe them with the towel. (It was a courtesy to provide water for guests to wash their dusty and overheated feet, travel for most being by foot.)

     6 When he came to Simon Peter, Peter said, “Lord, do you wash my feet?!” 7 Jesus answered, “You don’t understand, now what I’m doing, but you will later.” 8 Peter said, “Lord! You cannot wash my feet!” But Jesus said, “If I don’t do this, you will have no share with me in this work.” 9 So Peter said, “Not just my feet! But my hands and head too!”

     10 Jesus said, “Someone who has already bathed, needs only to wash their feet. And all of you are clean but one.” 11 For he knew who was going to betray him. That was why he said, “All but one.” [I read in a commentary - Ellicott’s - which said Judas didn’t spiritually wash his feet from the world’s influences daily, and thus his falling to temptation.] {He loved money. He didn’t know they wanted Jesus to be executed.}

     12 When Jesus was done, he put his outer clothing back on, sat back down at the table, and said, “Do you know why I did that? 13 You call me Teacher and Lord, and so I am. 14 If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet. 15 For I’ve given you an example, that you should do just as I’ve done. {Watch out for one another! Be humble and helpful.}

     16 Truly, I tell you, a servant isn’t greater than his master. Nor is a messenger greater than the one who sends the message. 17 If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them. 18 I’m not speaking of all of you. I know who I’ve chosen. But the Scripture says, ‘He who ate my bread has lifted his heel against me’ and it shall be fulfilled. 19 I’m telling you this now, before it happens, so when it does happen you’ll believe that I’m he. 20 Truly, I tell you, whoever receives the one I send, receives me. And whoever receives me, receives the Father who sent me.”

ACTS 9 21-43

A reading & study, verses R paraphrased

N.T. in a year [  ] references {  } thots

     Book of the Acts of the First Believers

21 - And all who were listening to Saul, later called Paul, were amazed! They were saying, “Isn’t this the man who raised havoc in Jerusalem among those who call upon the Lord Jesus? And didn’t he come here to arrest and drag more believers in chains before the chief priests?” 22 But Saul increased all the more in strength, and was confounding the Synagogue leaders who lived in Damascus by proving that Jesus was the Christ.

     23 Then, after many days, they plotted to kill him! 24 But their plot became known to him. They were watching the gates day and night, 25 so some disciples led him out by night and lowered him in a basket, through an opening in the city wall.

     26 Then when Saul (Paul) came to Jerusalem, he tried to join the disciples there. But they were afraid of him, and didn’t believe he was a disciple. 27 But Barnabas befriended him and brought him to the apostles. Then he explained to them how on the road he had seen the Lord. How he had spoken to him, and how at Damascus he had preached boldly the name of Jesus. 28 After that Saul went in and out among them at Jerusalem, preaching boldly in the name of the Lord.

     29 He would also speak with and dispute with the Hellenists (Greek culture Hebrews). But they were seeking to kill him. 30 And when the brothers learned this, they brought him down to Caesarea and sent him to Tarsus.

     31 So the church {brotherhood and sisterhood} throughout all Judea, Galilee and Samaria had peace and the faith was growing. And walking in the reverence of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit {Presence of God} the faith was multiplying.

     32 Meanwhile, Peter too was going in and out among them all. And then he went also down to Lydda and the believers who lived there. 33 While there he came across a man named Aeneas, who had been paralyzed and bedridden for eight long years. 34 And Peter said to him, “Aeneas, Jesus Christ heals you! Rise up and pick up your bed!” And immediately he did. 35 And all the residents of Lydda and Sharon saw him as healed, and they turned to the Lord.

     36 Now in Joppa, there was a disciple named Tabitha, which, translated is Dorcas. She had done many acts of charity and good works. 37 But in those days she had become ill and died. They had prepared her, and laid her in an upper room.

     38 Since Lydda was near Joppa, the disciples, hearing that Peter was there, sent two men to him, urging him, “Please come to us without waiting.” 39 So Peter went with them and when he was there, they took him to the upper room. All the widows were standing there weeping and showing tunics and other garments that Dorcas had made while she was with them. 40 But Peter put them all out, and then he knelt down and prayed. And turning to her he said, “Tabitha, arise.” And she opened her eyes. When she saw Peter she sat up, 41 and he took her by the hand and helped her to stand up. Then, calling the saints and widows, he presented her to them alive. 42 And it became known throughout all Joppa, and many believed in the Lord. 43 And he stayed in Joppa for many days with one Simon, a tanner who lived by the sea.

☀️ 1 - Now concerning food offered to idols, we know we all possess “knowledge.” This “knowledge” can puff up. {Become an idol? Or our own ideas become our lord?} But love is what builds up. 2 If anyone imagines they know something, they don’t yet know as they ought to know! {Our knowledge and knowing, is SO incomplete, lol.} 3 But if someone loves God, they can know, that they are known by God. {THE knowing/gnosis.}

     4 Therefore, as to this eating of food offered to idols, we know an idol is nothing. That there is no God but one. 5 For although there may be many supposed ‘gods’ in the heavens and upon earth, many ‘gods’ and lords, 6 yet to us there is but one God. The Father, of whom is the all, and we for him. And one Lord, Jesus Christ, by and through whom are all, and we for him.

     7 However, not all know this. But some, through former observances and rituals with idols, eat food as actually offered to another ‘god’, and their conscience is harmed. 8 But food will not commend us to God. Whether we eat or we don’t eat, we’re no better off, nor are we worse off.

🌙 (Luke’s Account, likely by interview) — 17 - When they were reclined at table for supper, Jesus took a cup, and after giving thanks, said, “Take this cup, and share it among yourselves. 18 For I tell you I won’t drink of the fruit of the vine again until the kingdom of God comes.” 19 And he took bread, and after giving thanks, he broke it and passed it out to them, saying, “This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.” 20 And so too with the cup. After they had eaten, he said, “This cup, poured out for you, is the new covenant sealed in my blood. 21 But the hand of the one who will betray me is with me at this table. 22 For the Son of Man goes as it’s been determined, but woe to that one by whom he is betrayed.” 23 And they began to question one another, which of them it could be.

☀️ [Paul is answering questions the Corinthian believers had sent in a letter. He responded “the time is short, so..” and indeed 70 CE was right around the corner.] 32 -  I (Paul) want you to be free from worries. The unmarried person is anxious about the things of the Lord, how to please the Lord. 33 But the married person is worried about worldly things, how to please their spouse. 34 So their interests are divided. 35 I say this for your benefit, not to lay any hardship upon you, but to promote good order and to secure your undivided devotion to the Lord. {In those last days (of the age).}

     36 If anyone thinks they’re not behaving properly toward their intended, or if passion is strong, let them do as they wish. If they marry, it’s no sin! 37 But whoever is firmly established in their heart, and have their desire under control, and do not marry, also do well. 38 So then they who marry do well, and they who refrain from marriage, in my opinion, do even better.

     39 (Answer to another question.) A wife is bound to her husband as long as he lives. But if her husband dies, she is free to remarry, but only to another in the Lord. 40 Yet in my judgment she is happier if she remains as she is. And I think that I too have the Spirit of God on this.

🌙 17 - And when it was evening, he went in with the twelve. 18 And as they were at table, eating, Jesus said, “One of you is going to betray me. One who eats with me.” 19 They began to be sorrowful and to say one after another, “Is it I?” 20 So he said, “It’s one of you twelve, the one who is dipping bread into the dish with me.

     21 For the Son of Man goes as it’s written of him, but woe to the one who betrays him. {Sympathy for Judas.} It would have been better for that man if he had not been born.” {Prophesying how Judas’ life will end.}

     22 Then he took up a loaf of bread, said a blessing, then broke it and passed it out to them, saying “Take and eat. This is my body.”

     23 Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks he passed it to them, and they all drank. 24 And he said, “This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many” [polýs - many, high in number, multitudinous, plenteous, much, great in amount (extent), frequently used in contexts that highlight the vastness of God's kingdom, the multitude of believers, or the extensive reach of Jesus]. 25 “Truly, I tell you, I will not drink again of the fruit of the vine, until the day when I drink it new in the kingdom of God.” [Matthew’s recollection, 26:29 - “I will not drink wine again until the day I drink it new with you in my Father’s Kingdom.” Mt.25:1-13, 1Cor.15:23; Mt.13:30 is Rev.16:13,14(15)16]

BOOK OF REVELATION

[2Thessalonians 1:8,7 - “…when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with his mighty angels 8 in a fire of flame, inflicting [didómi - to give - in various senses lit. or fig. includes allowing, yielding, granting, pouring — permitting] vengeance [ekdikésis - vindication, defense, avenging, pay back “full” and “complete”] on those who do not know God and who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. {Complete cause and effect; the culmination of history. Conclusion and end of the story, Mt.13:30 - “Let both” - the wheat and the tares, psuedo wheat, which we all were - “grow together until the harvest, and at the harvest I will tell the reapers, ‘Gather the weeds - first, and bind them in - bundles - to be burned’ {weeds are cast into a bonfire, not an eternal ‘hell’ Rev.16:14-15-16} ‘and then, gather the wheat into my barn.” [Cross regerence - Rev.16:14,16–“..demons performing signs ..to the kings of earth gathering them for battle.. and assembled them at Armageddon” at Gehenna Valley.]

     Rev.11:15 - And then the seventh angel blew his trumpet. And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdom of the world is now the kingdom of our LORD, and of his Christ. And he shall reign forever and ever.”

     16 And the twenty-four elders who were sitting on thrones before God fell on their faces and worshiped God, 17 saying, “We give thanks to you! LORD God Almighty! Who is and who was, for you’ve taken your great power and have begun to reign. 18 The nations raged” (Ps.2 and 2nd horseman of the apocalypse/2nd seal/element of the age) “but your wrath came.” [Wrath - orgé - wrath, vengeance, from orgáō, "to teem, swelling up to oppose, a fixed, controlled, passionate feeling against, a settled indignation.] {His wrath is cause and effect? “His” because it is HE who created a cause and effect universe. Consequences, life as we presently know it, this all important contrast and gehenna crucible, that flares up into judgments, results — versus creation as an ant farm?}

     “And the time [kairos - time, season] came for the dead to be judged, and for rewarding your servants, the prophets and saints, and those who fear your name, both small and great, and to destroy [diaphtheiró - from dia - intensive, through and through, and diaphthorá - thorough decay] those destroying earth.” (Imo, spiritually destroying.) 19 Then God's temple in heaven was opened {I always think split, the word anoigó, does include broken, open}. And the ark of his covenant was seen within his temple. There were flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, an earthquake, and great hail.

      (Isaiah 24:20) - the higher and faster moisture rises, the larger and greater the hail. And surely(?) it’s thermonuclear lightning.. rumbling and thunder.. “seven thunders”? Counting the first occurrence which was Rev. 13:13 in the third telling of the vision - but the occurrence pinpointed an office, not yet an individual. Which was also the first seal six occurrence, but it’s veiled by the seals being described at the beginning of the vision, as their full and entire effects, first to very last. This also veils much of the entire vision. Kudos to any understanding any of us has had! — Next week we begin the second telling of the vision, which is Revelation chapter 12. All three end, and rejoin, at the 7th trumpet’s sounding.. “The kingdom of the world is become the kingdom of our LORD and of his Christ.”

☀️ 24 - So in whatever condition each was called, let them remain so, with God. 25 And concerning the betrothed, I (Paul) have no command from the Lord, but I give my judgment as one who by the Lord's mercy can be trusted. 26 I think in view of the present distress, it’s good for a person to remain as they are.

     27 Are you married? Don’t seek to not be. Are you not married? Don’t concern yourself to be so. 28 But if you do marry, you haven’t erred. Yet those who marry will have worldly concerns and troubles, and I would spare you that. 29 This is what I mean, the appointed time {end of their age, 70CE} has grown very short. From now on, let us treat worldly entanglements as secondary, 31 for the fashions {all important pursuits} of this world are fast passing away.

🌙 {By interview? Luke was a Greek doctor, not a disciple. It was Paul Luke met later.} 7 - Then came the days of unleavened (bread) when it was time for the Passover lamb to be sacrificed. {This is an important and crucial lesson - expressed as in a drama. The sacrifice hAd to be. Is it possible that anything less dramatic would not reach “aLL” - could not appease every conscience, including of the most cruel despots, etc.} [The days: Passover, a “preparation” day, for the meal on First Day of Unleavened Bread, which is the next day (but the days of course begin at sunset instead of midnight).]

     8 So Jesus sent Peter and John ahead saying, “Go and prepare the Passover for us, that we may eat it.” {I think it was common for some to eat the meal on Passover?} 9 They said to him, “Where will you have us prepare it?” 10 He said, “When you have entered the city, a man carrying a clay jar of water will meet you. Follow him into the house he goes into, 11 and tell the master of the house, ‘The teacher asks, Where is the guest room, where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?’ 12 And he’ll show you a large upper room that’s furnished. Prepare there.” 13 And they went and found it just as he had said, and they prepared the Passover.

     14 And later at the time to recline, the apostles were with him. 15 And he said, “I have wanted to eat this Passover with you, before my suffering. 16 For I tell you I will not any longer eat of it until it’s fulfilled in the kingdom of God.”

☀️ (Practical matters, continued) 8 - To the unmarried and widows I think it’s good for them to remain single, as I (Paul) am. 9 But if they haven’t self-control, they should marry. For it’s better to marry than to burn with passion.

     10 To the married I give this charge, not I, but the Lord, the wife shouldn’t separate from her husband 11 but if she does, she should remain unmarried or be reconciled to her husband, and the husband should not divorce his wife.

     12 To the rest I say (I, not the Lord) that if any brother has a wife who is an unbeliever, and she consents to remain with him, he should not divorce her. 13 If any woman has a husband who is an unbeliever, and he’s happy to remain with her, she should not divorce him. 14 For the unbelieving husband will be influenced by his wife, and the unbelieving wife will be influenced by her husband. Otherwise your children would be unduly influenced, but as it is, they will be influenced by you. 15 But if the unbelieving partner separates, let it be so. In such cases the brother or sister is not bound. God has called you to peace. 16 For how do you know, wife, whether you will deliver to Jesus your husband? Or how do you know, husband, whether you will deliver to Jesus your wife?

     17 Only let each person lead the life that the Lord has assigned to them, and to which God has called them, a good rule in all the churches. 18 Was anyone at the time of his call already circumcised? Let him not seek to remove the circumcision. Was anyone at the time of his call uncircumcised? Let him not seek to be circumcised. 19 For neither (the physical) circumcision counts for anything nor uncircumcision, but keeping the instructions of God.

     {Note: circumcision was on “the 8th day”. It represents the spiritual circumcision of the heart ..no longer self as first and foremost, etc - The collective circumcision of mankind (and angelkind) will be completed during the 8th millennium of this creation - see if I’m wrong -> Rev.20. But the chapter is like describing the crests of waves and not much of the in between. ..It was a biG bang into the universe as is, then, was set in motion with two outlines running - the week plus one. And within that outline (wheel within a wheel) the ancient holy days of Leviticus 23 as representing Jesus’ two advents.}

     20 Each one should remain in the condition in which they were called. 21 Were you a bondservant when called? Don’t be concerned about it. But if you can gain your freedom, avail yourself of the opportunity. [It was a money or land lending system.] 22 For the one who was called in the Lord as a bondservant is free in the Lord! Likewise the one who was free when called is a bondservant of Christ. 23 You were bought with a price. It’s better not to become bondservants of men.

11-07 - MARK 14 10-16

🌙 10 - Then Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve, went to the leaders, the chief priests, in order to betray Jesus to them. 11 And when they heard it, they were glad and promised to give him money. So he then looked for an opportunity to betray him.

     12 And it was the first day of Unleavened Bread,  when they sacrificed the Passover lamb [referring to the whole week of Spring holy days, which was called interchangeably, as were the days - Passover and 1st Day of Unleavened Bread, the actual feast/meal day - remember the days began (begin?) at sunset rather than at midnight. The Passover lamb is sacrificed on Passover, and later, in the dark, after sunset, 1st Day of Unleavened Bread having begun, the meal was eaten, as in the original first Passover in Egypt.] His disciples asked him, “Where should we go to prepare for you to eat the Passover?” 13 So he sent two of the disciples on ahead, saying to them, “Go into the city, where you’ll see a man carrying a jar of water. Follow him, 14 and wherever he goes, say to the master of that house, ‘The Teacher says, where is my guest room, where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?’ 15 And he will show you a large upper room which is furnished and ready, there make ready for us.” 16 And the disciples set out and went to the city and found it just as he had told them, and they made ready (for) the Passover.

☀️ 1 - Now about the questions about which you wrote to me: “I (Paul) think it’s good for a man to remain single, rather than to marry.” 2 But in the world there is the temptation to immorality. [Porneia - fornication (sexual relations between people who are not married to each other - The Amer. Heritage Dictionary). From pernaō - to sell off, properly, a selling off (surrendering) of sexual purity.] {Rightness, health.} So each man should have his own wife and each woman her own husband. 3 The husband should give to his wife her conjugal rights, and likewise the wife to her husband. 4 For the husband doesn’t have authority over his own body, but the wife does. Likewise the wife doesn’t have authority over her own body, but the husband does. 5 Don’t deprive one another, except perhaps by agreement for a limited time, that you may devote yourselves to prayer, but then come together again, so Satan may not tempt you to a lack of self control, and you fall prey to unfaithfulness.

     6 Now this is only advice, but I will say, 7 I wish all were as I am. But all have their own blessing from God, some of one kind and others of another kind.

🌙 3 - Then Satan entered into Judas Iscariot, who was one of Jesus’ twelve disciples. 4 And he sought out the leaders - the chief priests and their officers - and offered to betray Jesus to them. 5 They were happy to hear that and to pay him for it. 6 So he agreed, and then he looked for an a way to betray him, when he wasn’t among a crowd of people.

☀️ 11/06 - 1 CORINTHIANS 6:14-20

14 - God raised Jesus. And he will also raise us up by his (same) power. 15 We are all the parts of the {spiritual, very real} body of Christ! Should I then take a body part of Christ and make it members of a prostitute? Never! {Corinthians was a big city which beliefs and practices included temple prostitutes. Go figure. Lol.} 16 Or don’t you know that anyone joined to a prostitute has become one with her? {To Father Creator, no throwaway lovemaking, but soul mate.. children.. grandma and grandpa, uncles, aunts, cousins.. tribe.. humanity with its beautifuL branches.. How do you create genuinely able to think and reason beings, aNd, keep paradise/perfection intact?}

     For you see, it’s written, “The two become one.” 17 And to be joined to the Lord is to be one in spirit with him.

     18 Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside of the body. But the sexually immoral person sins against {abuses} their own body. 19 Don’t you know your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit in you, whom you have from God? {God’s Spirit/Presence. The Holy Ghost!} We’re not our own! 20 We were bought with a price. We are meant to bodily glorify God. {Destiny. One boat. All are in it. All going to the same place - Rev.21:1-5, Isaiah 11:7.}

11-05 - JOHN 12 37-50

N.T. in a year reading & study [  ] references {  } thots, verses R paraphrased

🌙 37 - Though Jesus had done so many signs and miracles, they still didn’t believe in him. 38 And so the word spoken by the prophet Isaiah was fulfilled - “LORD, who has believed your message? And to who, has been revealed, the arm {intent} of the LORD?” 39 Therefore, they couldn’t believe. {Because it wasn’t revealed to them!?} For again Isaiah said, 40 “He has blinded their eyes, and he has hardened their heart. Lest they see with their eyes, and lest they understand with their heart, and turn, and I would heal them.”

     {One for all, all for one, and one and done - aLL strayed, aLL called, justified, purified, BUT — 1Cor.15:22-24,28 with Mt.13:33, 🗝️->key word 3 “the kingdom is like three batches of meal a woman works leaven into until all is leavened” in this case the leaven of total newness, three harvests — 1Cor.15:23,  “EACH IN THEIR OWN ORDER (#1)Christ the First(fruits”) first kernel of grain that is broken and implanted in each one after him, the barley harvest “then (#2)those that are his at his coming” the wheat harvest. “THEN comes the end”(#3!). [Tel - the “end-aim”.] “After the Son has subdued all” - which translators changed the word “all” to “all things” whenever they could. They just couldn’t believe? Such a totally glorious message. After all is said and done, and “all are subdued, including powers and principalities” — for “the Father has put aLL in the Son’s hands” - “then the Son will hand aLL over to the Father and will also submit himself to the Father” 1Cor.15:25,26.

     So the Son hands over the kingdom having submitted all to the Father which is #3 - the overflowing grape harvest, “that God may be all in all” These verses have been 1Cor.15:22-28 wiTh the ‘key’ Mt.13:33, key word 3.

     For it’s “BEHOLD! I make aLL new!” Greek word “pas” - “every, all, the whole”. And then - (Rev.21:1-5) “God will Tabernacle with mankind ..a new heavens and earth”.. and the second vivification. Vivification is the “putting oN of immortality and incorruptibility”/Perfection.. God’s “jewels” Mal.3:17.} The second vivification at the fieRy [2Pet.3:12-13] “palin/again-genesis” is the death of death - the verses 1COR.15:25-26 and Rev.21:1-5.

     41 Isaiah said these things because he saw the Son’s glory and spoke about it. {It was revealed to him.} 42 Nevertheless! Even many of the authorities believed in Jesus, but for fear of the Pharisees they didn’t say so, because they didn’t want to be put out of the synagogue/{and ‘accepted’ society, the establishment and political power} 43 for they cared more for acceptance and glory that comes from man {and each one’s generation} more than acceptance and {the exceeding great} glory revealed from God. {Because it hasn’t (yet) been revealed. ‘Importance’ world’s acceptance and ‘glory’ totally fades once the True glory is “revealed/made known”.  God is 100% unfettered Genius, could see all possibilities before speaking any act of creation. The ‘end’ result can onLy be the best one possible, and of course he has done, and does, all things as he has in order to bring about that best “end-aim”.}

     44 And Jesus cried out to the people, the city, “Whoever believes in me, believes not in me but in he who sent me! 45 And whoever sees me - sees the one who sent me!” {The Son is the only straight out from God one. Father and Son are so close both administer God’s Spirit/Presence. The Holy Ghost which will saturate and “seal” the world and humanity. It’s not a case of what God hAs created, but what he is creating.}

     46 “I have come into the world as Light and whoever believes in Me will not be in darkness. 47 If anyone hears my words and doesn’t keep them {doesn’t believe them} I don’t judge them. For I didn’t come to judge the world, but to save it. 48 The one who rejects me and doesn’t receive my words has a judge, the words I’ve spoken will judge them in [en - in, on, at, by, with, among {during!} the last (“8th”) ‘day’.” {“My words will not be futile” Is.55:11.}

     49 “For I haven’t spoken on my own authority. The Father who sent me has himself told me what to say. 50 And I know his instruction is Life. What I say therefore, is what the Father has told me to say.”

Tomorrows verses - Luke 22:3-6
