☀️ 24 - So Pilate gave up and went along with their demand. 25 He released the man who was in prison for violent insurrection and murder, for whom they asked for (on Passover) and gave Jesus over to their will.

     26 And as they led him away, they made one Simon of Cyrene, who was coming in from the country, to carry the cross behind Jesus. {Remember, he had been beat and severely flogged.} 27 And there were following him a great number of the people, and women who were mourning and lamenting. 28 But Jesus turned to them and said, “Daughters of Jerusalem, don’t weep for me. Weep for yourselves and for children’s children. 29 For behold, the days are coming when they’ll say, ‘Blessed are the barren and the wombs that never bore, the breasts that never nursed!’ 30 And then soon they will begin to say to the mountains, ‘Fall on us,’ and to the hills, ‘Cover us.’ 31 For if they do these things {crucify me} in a green leaf, what will they do in a dry leaf?” {Rev.12:15?}

REVELATION - 12 13-17

BOOK OF REVELATION

[After the woman, the faith, fled (Jerusalem in 70CE) and time had passed.. and after “war in heaven”] 13 - the dragon, when he saw that he was now limited to Earth, pursued {persecuted, inquisitioned} the woman/the faith, which had given birth to the manchild (Son of man/Christ). 14 But the woman/the faith {now Christianity} was given the two wings of an eagle, that she might fly (sail) to the wilderness to a place of her to be nourished and to grow [in a widest sense] for a time, times and half (a division of) time, safe from the face [prosΓ³pon - presence, face, advantage] of the serpent [thus dragon, ancient serpent, called the devil and Satan ..deceiver of the whole world” vs.9].

     15 Then (after the 1, plus 2 and ½ divisions of time) the serpent spewed water like a river out of his mouth after the woman, the faith. In order to wash her away with a flood, from off the face of the Earth.

     16 But (in the vision John was seeing) the earth helped the woman. It opens its mouth and swallows the flood, the dragon had poured from his mouth after her. {A spiritual flood, a strong delusion? One declaring man to be most high and “seated in the temple as god”/highest power. ..And widespread drought just before Armageddon/next verse?}

     17 And the dragon was furious with the woman, the faith, and went off to make war upon the rest of her {the faith’s} offspring, on those who keep the commandments of God. And {by then, Mt.23:39} hold to the testimony of Jesus. {“Jerusalem, Jerusalem ..you shall not SEE me again, until you say “Blessed is He who comes in the name if the LORD!” Mt.23:39.}

     And the dragon stood on the sand of the sea. {Chapter 13 begins the third and last telling of the vision, but from a modern geopolitical perspective.}

                         ~*~

Review: Chapter twelve is the second telling of the revelation vision. It is between the other two tellings - 6:1-2 to 11:19, but a trick with the seals keeps the vision veiled. They, the elements of the vision {and age} are described at the very beginning of the vision, as a sort of swirl of their full and entire effects, first to very last. Especially pronounced in the 6th seal and the following 7:1,3 (9,4) where we presently still are.

☀️ 31 - And of course, the higher gifts are the more desirable. But I’ll tell you the most excellent way! 13 For if I should speak with a tongue of angels, but I don’t love, then I am just a noisy gong, or a clanging cymbal.

     2 And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and have all knowledge, or if I have all faith, so as to move mountains, but have not love, I’m nothing! 3 If I give away all I have, if I die for the cause, but have not love, I gain nothing.

     4 Love is patient and kind. Love doesn’t envy or boast. It’s not arrogant 5 or rude. It doesn’t insist on its own way. It’s not irritable or resentful. 6 It doesn’t rejoice at wrongdoings, but rejoices over the truth. 7 Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

     8 Love never fails or passes away. As for prophecies, they pass away. As for tongues, they will cease. As for knowledge, it will pass away. 9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part, 10 but when the perfect comes, the partial and incomplete will pass away. 11 When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. {My mind wandered down many hallways.} When I became an adult, I gave up childish ways. 12 For now we see as through a glass dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, then I shall know in full, even as I have been fully known.

     13 So now faith, expectation [elpis - expectation, trust, confidence, hope?] {Usually/always translated, hope a lesser degree of “expectation”/trust} and love abide. And of the three, the greatest of is love. {Faith, Trust, Love. — God is Love. Love hAs to rule, there’s no other option. Because God is Life. Some get all tangled up in the strictness of God. But life cannot be contaminated and remain life. And so, this entropy. The world persuaded us to toss out the scripture, thinking like a child. This life is but a moment. In crises, he carries. In formation ages he had to take out, like transplanting into an untilled garden, awaiting being resurrected into an “age of correction” (aionion kolasin / eonian korrection, Mt.25:46) the GWT judgment ‘day’ SEE the Autumn holy days of Lev.23, the names and pattern. And preflood society, was highly cannibaalistic perhaps? Learned it from animals, which some animals turned predator quickly? Their “covering” angels having joined the “covering angel over Eden” when he revolted? As God of course knew he would, indeed the way engineered, this Truth journey is a one and done for heaven and earth.. Perhaps I’m imaginative, but did God say after the flood that man should be carnivore, so they would not be prey instead? — No option to stray in Eden would be an Ant Farm? Instead the dis-ease as part of the cure? And immunity.. And the original blueprint still stands! Love, genuine affection, is going to - totally - rule. We can trust God’s 100% pure Goodness. “The lion will eat straw like the ox, and the bear will graze with the cow” Isaiah 11:7.}

[“God is Love” 1Jn.4:8.] 8 (And) Love never fails..

11-29 - Mark 15 16-32

 N.T. in a year reading & study, verses R paraphrased [  ] references {  } thots

πŸŒ™ 16 - The soldiers led Jesus out to the court of the governor’s palace and called together the rest of their battalion. 17 Then they clothed him in a purple robe, and twisted together a crown of thorns for him to wear. 18 And putting it on his head, they saluted him, saying, “Hail, King of the Jews!” 19 And they spit on him, striking his head with reeds and knelt down before him. 20 When they were done mocking him, they stripped him of the purple robe and put his own outer clothes back on him and led him out to be crucified/executed.

     21 On the way, they compelled a passerby, Simon of Cyrene, who was coming in from the country, the father of Alexander and Rufus, to carry his cross. [Jesus had been severely flogged, remember, and then was beaten more.] 22 And they led him to the place called Golgotha, which means Place of the Skull. {Place of the skull - he went to death, the end of entropy/imperfection, for all, a ‘ransom’ and ultimately, an appeasing of even the guiltiest of consciences.}

     23 And they offered him wine mixed with myrrh, but he didn’t take any. 24 And they crucified him. Some were dividing his garments, casting lots to see what each should take. [Fulfilling scripture, Ps.22:18.] 25 And it was the third hour. {Hour of the daily evening, or that is, the between the evening (shadows) sacrifice? Sentenced at the hour of daily morning one.} 26 And the inscription of the charge against him read, “The King of the Jews.” [Ioudaios - from loudas - Judah or the region of Judea {yet the 12 tribes were there - via the census of Nehemiah after Cyrus king of Babylonia - which at the time once again included Assyria - said, “Let all Israel go home”. Ten northern tribes had been carried away to Assyria - their shield from the Holy Ghost/Spirit and Presence of YHVH/life having dissipated. This was in the early 700’s BCE. And then later, the southern tribes, called Judah, were carried to Babylon, in the late 500’s BCE. These were called “captivities” the Assyrian Captivity and the Babylonian captivity. One to a kingdom of war, the other to a kingdom of gold. Judah became another name for all Israel. But previously, due to civil war, the ten northern tribes were Israel, and the Southern were Judah. Each had a line of kings.}

     27 And with him, one on his left and one on his right, were two robbers also being crucified. {πŸ€”Two robbers, two lines of kings.. Israel is the ‘micro’ prophecy and fulfillment, all humanity and last hours, the macro.}

     29 And those who passed by ridiculed him, shaking their heads and saying, “WhAt?! You who would destroy the temple and rebuild it in three days! 30 Save yourself, and come down from there!” {Just a pleasant late afternoon stroll out to the “Place of the Skull”?} 31 Also the leaders, the chief priests and scribes mocked him among theirselves, saying, “He saved others! But he can’t save himself!” 32 And, “Let the Christ, the King of Israel, come down from the cross that we may see it, and believe!” And those who were crucified with him also threw insults at him.

☀️ 21 - The eye of a body can’t say to the hand, “I have no need of you,” nor the head to the feet say, “I have no need of you.” 22 Instead, the weaker members are indispensable! 23 And the members we think of as less honorable we bestow the greater honor upon, and our less noble parts we treat with greater modesty, 24 which our more presentable parts don’t need. In the same way, God has composed the body of Christ, giving greater value {grace needed?} to parts deficient, 25 that there may be no-division in-the-body, but that the members may have genuine concern for one another. 26 If one member suffers, all suffer together. If a member is honored, all rejoice!

     27 For all together, we are the body of Christ and individually members of it. 28 And God has appointed in the church apostles, prophets, teachers, then miracles, gifts of healing, helping, administrating, and various kinds of tongues. 29 Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all work miracles? 30 Do all possess gifts of healing? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret?

11-28 - Luke 23 11-23

 N.T. in a year reading & study, verses R paraphrased [  ] references {  } thots

☀️ (The gospels as two six month readings means there is some repetitiveness.) 11 - Herod and his soldiers mocked Jesus, and were treating him with contempt. Then they arrayed him in kingly clothing and Herod sent him back to Pilate. 12 Herod and Pilate became friends that very day, when before this they had been hostile with one another. {The spirit of Jesus prevailing even then, in this strange historic example.}

     13 Then Pilate called together the people and the rulers {the} leading priests {the political rulers were priests, so called religious wars were usually not religious but political} 14 and said to them, “You brought me this man as one who is misleading the people. And after interrogating him, I haven’t found him to be guilty of any of your charges. 15 Neither did Herod, for he sent him back here. Look, nothing deserving death has been done by him! 16 Therefor I’ll punish him and release him.” 18 But they all cried out, “Away with this man! Release to us Barabbas!” 19 This was a man who was in prison for murder during an insurrection. 20 Pilate addressed them once more, wanting to release Jesus (it was a Rome granted favor each Passover, to release someone to them). 21 But they kept shouting, “Crucify! Crucify him!” 22 A third time he said, “Why? What has he done? I have found in him nothing deserving of death. I will therefore punish and release him.” 23 But they were vehement, demanding with loud cries that he should be crucified/executed. And their voices {of incited hysteria and hatred} prevailed.

☀️ 14 - For the body doesn’t consist of one part or member, but many. 15 If the foot should say, “Because I’m not a hand, I don’t belong to the body,” that would not make it any less a part of the body. 16 And if the ear should say, “Because I’m not an eye, I don’t belong to the body,” that would not make it any less a part of the body. 17 If the whole body were an eye, how would we hear? If the whole body were an ear, how would we smell? 18 But as it is, God arranged the members in the body, each one of them, as he chose. 19 So it is with the body of Christ. 20 There are many members, yet one body.

 N.T. in a year reading & study, verses R paraphrased [  ] references {  } thots

πŸŒ™ (The gospels as two six month readings means there is some repetitiveness.)

1 - So the council of leaders rose up and brought Jesus before Pilate, the governor.. 2 And they accused him, saying, “We found this man misleading the nation and forbidding us to give tribute to Caesar! Saying he himself is Christ {Messiah} a king!” 3 And Pilate asked him, “Are you the King of the Jews?” And he answered, “You have said it, not I.” [Such was punishable by death.] 4 Then Pilate said to the chief leaders and the crowd, “I find no guilt in this man.” 5 But they insisted, saying, “He stirs up the people, teaching throughout all Judea, from Galilee even to this place.”

     6 When Pilate heard this, he asked whether he was a Galilean. 7 And when he learned that he belonged to Herod's jurisdiction, he sent him over to Herod, who was in Jerusalem at the time. 8 And when Herod saw Jesus, he was happy, for he had wanted to see him for some time, having heard a lot about him. And he was hoping to see him work a miracle. 9 So he questioned him at some length, but Jesus stayed silent. 10 While the leaders, the chief priests and scribes, stood by, angrily accusing him.

     [This Herod, called Herod Antipas was a son of Herod the Great. Herod Antipas is the one who unwillingly put John the Baptist to death. Herod the Great is the one who killed all the very young boys and babies of Bethlehem, trying to kill Jesus after his birth, as the birth had made quite a stir. As in Rev.12:4, bible prophecy often takes no account of time - like in this verse, Rev.12:14 - “the dragon” - original gone rogue one - “drags with his tail one third of the stars..” - I.e. one third of the angels joined the “covering angel over Eden” in his revolt. Then as in the next breath it seems, he then turned to devour the “manchild”/Son of man who had been born from the woman.. “a great sign..”

     But we know there’s a great gap of time between Eden and the birth of Christ.

     Herod the Great, the father, is the one of Rev.12:14 and Matthew 2, who tried to kill Jesus when born. And his son, Herod Antipas is the one who had executed John the Baptist. Jesus and this John {the baptist were ‘cousins’? Would that be first, I don’t know. Elizabeth was “a kinswoman” a relative, Lk.1:36. Why I came to think of them as cousins - for some time now - I’m not sure.🀷🏼‍♀️}

☀️ 8 - To one person is given, through the Spirit, the speaking of wisdom, to another the speaking of knowledge, 9 or great faith, or the gift of healing, 10 the working of miracles, prophecy, the ability to discern between spirits, various kinds of tongues/languages, or the interpretation of tongues. 11 All these are gifts empowered by one and the same Spirit, who apportions to each one individually as he wills.

     12 For just as the body is one and has many parts, and all the parts, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. 13 For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, Jew and Greek, bond slave and free, and all were made to drink of the one Spirit. {God’s Spirit.}

11-26 - Matthew 27 1-10

 N.T. in a year reading & study, verses R paraphrased [  ] references {  } thots

☀️ 1 - When morning came, all the chief priests and leaders of the people took counsel together, against Jesus, to have him put to death. 2 And they bound him and led him away to Pilate the governor.

     3 Then when Judas, his betrayer, saw that Jesus was condemned, he changed his mind and brought back the thirty pieces of silver to the chief leaders, 4 saying, “I have sinned by betraying innocent blood!” They said, “What is that to us?” 5 And throwing down the pieces of silver into the temple, Judas departed, and went out and hung himself.

     6 The chief priests said, “It’s not lawful to put the silver into the treasury, since it’s blood money.” 7 So they talked it over and with it bought the potter's field as a burial place for strangers. {A field of a potter’s throwaway broken pottery pieces. Metaphor - all us broken vessels/pottery, bought with 30 pieces of silver.} 8 And so that field has been called the Field of Blood to this day. 9 Then was fulfilled what was spoken [long ago] by the prophet Jeremiah - “And they took the thirty pieces of silver, the price of he, on whom a price had been set by some of the sons of Israel, 10 and they gave it for the potter's field, as the LORD directed.” [“God is savior..” 1Tim.4:10.]

☀️ 1 - Now concerning spiritual gifts, brothers and sisters, I don’t want you to be uninformed. {After scolding on important matters, he still of course addresses them as brothers and sisters in the Lord. Corinth was a huge metropolis and was very pagan in its attitudes and practices.} 2 You know that when you were pagans you were led astray to mute idols and followed however you were led. 3 Therefore I want you to understand that no one speaking in the Spirit of God ever says “Jesus is accursed!” and no one can say “Jesus is Lord” except in, and by, the Holy Spirit.

     4 Now there’s a variety of gifts, but it’s the same Spirit {of God, his Presence with us}. 5 And there are varieties of service, but it’s the same Lord {leading, enabling, doing the work}. 6 And there are varieties of activities, but it’s the same God who empowers all in everyone. {“All - pas” - Ultimately all gifts in all believers? 11-25 - Mark 15 1-15

 N.T. in a year reading & study, verses R paraphrased [  ] references {  } thots

☀️ 1 - As soon as morning came, the leaders held a council, the chief priests with the elders and scribes and the whole council. And they decided to take Jesus bound to the Roman governor Pilate.

     2 Pilate questioned him, “Are you the King of the Jews?” And Jesus answered, “You have said so, not me.” [Under Rome, declaring himself king would mean execution.] 3 The leading priests were accusing him of many things, 4 and Pilate said, “Have you no answer?” 5 But Jesus remained silent, and Pilate was amazed.

     6 Now at the feast each year [of Passover week] Pilate would release a prisoner being held, whomever they asked for. 7 And among the rebels in prison was one, Barabbas who had committed murder in an insurrection. 8 And a crowd which had gathered began to ask Pilate for the year’s Passover release. 9 And he answered them, “Do you want me to release the King of the Jews?” 10 For he knew it was out of envy that the leading priests {the leaders of the nation, Israel, under Roman occupation} had apprehended him. 11 But the leaders had been working the crowd, and successfully stirred them up to ask for Barabbas.

     12 “Then what shall I do with the man you call the King of the Jews?” Pilate asked. 13 And they cried out, “Crucify him!”

     14 “But why? What has he done?” But they shouted all the more, “Crucify him!” 15 So Pilate, wanting to satisfy the crowd, released to them Barabbas, and having Jesus flogged, he delivered him over to be executed.

     {Sentenced at morning sacrifice on Passover, one of three “preparation days” of the week, which of course are preparation days for the three Sabbaths of Spring holy week. For a few reasons, it is not at first easy to see how exact it was that Jesus’ first so brief advent fulfilled the Spring holy days. But after understanding that, might we wonder about the parallel between the stretched out Fall holy days and His long second advent? Leviticus chapter 23. The days being Trumpets, 10days later {1000 yrs later} — ‘Day’ of Atonement, and 5days later — Tabernacles.

     “Behold! I make all new! …God will now tabernacle with man.. And the lion will eat straw like the ox, the bear will graze with the cow.. For there will be no more death. And no mourning, nor sorrow.” A (fieRy) “palin/again- genesis” having occurred, Rev.21:1-5, Is.11:7, translated “the regeneration”.

     Note - “the” millennium is a Sabbath millennium, so logically, the next millennium is an “8th day” the “last great day” (Lev.23:36, Jn.7:37) when 1. The adversary, original gone rogue one, is released and he gathers, once again, a multitude - these are people descended from mortal survivors of the apocalypse. They are gathered to another fieRy armageddon, Rev.20:7-10. And, after all that concludes, 2. the GWT judgment ‘day’. Which in Matthew 25:46, Jesus calls agelasting correction [“kolasin aionion” oR “korrection eonian”] the completing of drawing all, Jn.12:32! [JN.5:28-29.] And surely(?) it’s a same process of refinement/correction for all. The crucible being life as we presently know it - this unavoidable, all important contrast - which continues until vivification either at 1Cor.15:52,53 oR later, at Rev.21:5, 1Cor.15:24-28.}

ACTS 10 21-33

     Book of the Acts of the First Believers

21 - So Peter went down from the roof, and greeted the men saying, “I’m who you’re looking for. Why have you come?” 22 And they said, “Cornelius, a centurion (Roman soldier or general) an upright and God-fearing man, who is well spoken of by the whole Jewish nation, was directed by a holy angel to send for you and have you come to his house in order to hear what you have to say.”

     23 So he invited them in to be his guests, and the next day he, and some brothers from Joppa, went with them. 24 And then on the following day they arrived at Caesarea.

     Cornelius was expecting them and he had called together his relatives and close friends. 25 When Peter entered, Cornelius met him and fell at his feet so as to worship him. 26 But Peter lifting him back up, said, “Stand up, I am but a man like yourself!”

     27 And as he talked with him, he went in and found those Cornelius had gathered. 28 And said to them, “You yourselves know how unlawful it is for a Jew (Hebrew) to associate with or to visit anyone of another nation” (separated for the sake of birthing Messiah, the “savior of the world” from death and its cause). “But God has shown me that I shouldn’t call any person common or unclean. 29 So when I was sent for, I came without objection. So then, I ask why you’ve sent for me.”

     30 And Cornelius said, “Four days ago, I was praying in my house at the ninth hour, and behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing! 3 And he said, ‘Cornelius, your prayers have been heard and your gifts and charity have been remembered before God. 32 Send therefore to Joppa and ask for Simon who’s called Peter. He’s lodging in the house of Simon, a tanner, who lives by the sea.’ 33 So I sent for you at once, and you’ve been kind enough to come. Now therefore we’re all here in the presence of God to hear everything the LORD has instructed.”

     33 So then, when you come together to eat, wait for one another. 34 If someone is famished, let them eat at home, so when you come together it won’t earn judgment. {Result in failure.} About the other questions you have I’ll address them when I get there.

 N.T. in a year reading & study, verses R paraphrased [  ] references {  } thots

πŸŒ™ [Mark and Luke were not of Jesus’ twelve disciples.] 54 - And Peter had followed them at a distance, right into the courtyard of the high priest. He was sitting with the guards and warming himself at the fire. 55 The leaders - the chief priests and the whole council - were seeking testimony against Jesus in order to have him sentenced to death, but they couldn’t find any. 56 For many did bear false witness against him, but their testimonies didn’t agree. 57 Some stood up saying, 58 “We heard him say, ‘I’ll destroy this temple that is made with hands, and in three days I will build another, not made with hands.’” 59 Yet even then their testimony didn’t agree. 60 So the high priest stood up in the council and demanded of Jesus, “Have you no answer to make?! What is it that these testify against you?”

     61 But Jesus remained silent and gave no answer. Again the high priest said, “Are you the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?” 62 And Jesus said, “I am, and you will see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of Power, and coming with the clouds of heaven.” 63 And the high priest tore his garments and said, “What further witness do we need? 64 You have heard his blasphemy! What is your decision?”

     And they all condemned him as deserving death. 65 And some began to spit on him and slap his face and strike him, saying to him, “Prophesy!” And the guards as well delivered blows.

     66 And as Peter was outside in the courtyard, one of the servant girls of the high priest 67 saw Peter warming himself. She looked at him and said, “You also were with the Nazarene.” 68 But he denied it,  “I don’t know what you mean,” he said. And he went out into the gateway and the rooster crowed. 69 And the servant girl saw him again and said to those standing there, “This man is one of them.” 70 But again he denied it. And after a little while they said to him again, “Certainly you’re one of them. For you’re a Galilean.” 71 But he began to swear and said, “I don’t know the man you’re talking about!” 72 And then the rooster crowed a second time. And Peter remembered how Jesus had said to him, “Before the rooster crows twice, you will deny me three times.” And he went out and broke down and wept.

     LUKE 22:55-71 - And when they had built a fire in the middle of the courtyard and sat down, Peter sat down with them. 56 Then a servant girl, saw him as he sat in the light of the fire, and looking closely at him, said, “This man also was with him.” 57 But he denied it, saying, “Woman, I don’t know him.” 58 And a little later someone else saw him and said, “You’re one of them.” But Peter said, “No, I’m not.” 59 And after an interval of about an hour still another insisted, saying, “Certainly this man was also with him, for he too is a Galilean.” 60 But Peter said, “Man, I do not know what you’re talking about!” And immediately, while he was still speaking, the rooster crowed. 61 And from within, the Lord turned and looked at Peter. And Peter remembered the saying of the Lord, how he had said to him, “Before the rooster crows today, you will deny me three times.” 62 And he went out and wept bitterly.

     (Eye witness accounts always differ, and these were written a few years later, perhaps by interviewing witnesses, as neither Mark nor Luke were there that day as witnesses.)

☀️ 23 - For I’ve passed on to you what I (Paul) have received from the Lord. That the Lord Jesus during the night he was betrayed took bread, 24 gave thanks, broke it, and said, “This is my body, which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me.” {Broken for you.}

     25 In the same way, he took the cup, after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, when you eat and drink in remembrance of me.” {Human delicate psyche appeased and Father’s sincerity sealed/proven.}

     26 For as often as you do this, you proclaim the Lord's death until he returns. 27 So whoever should eat the bread or drink the cup of the Lord unworthily will be guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord. 28 Let a person examine their self, and then eat of the bread, and drink of the cup. 29 For anyone who eats and drinks without discernment eats and drinks to judgment {fruit, results} upon their own self. {Now there’s an important metaphor. And it’s best not to pollute the body of Christ - any believer/anybody - with bad teachings. As ultimately, all humanity, as his body.. Filled up! God then, “all, in all” 1Cor.15:28. And the three “all things” in verse 27 should also read “all”. As all five are the greek word “pas” - “all, every, the whole, every part of”. Humanity (in Christ and Christ fully digested in us) & all creation “sealed”/in union with/saturated with God’s Spirit/Presence.. Thus all with character clear as crystal. Which character proceeds from, and is sustained by God. He iS Life. 1Cor.15:22-28 w/ Mt.13:33, key word 3.}

πŸŒ™ 43 - And then while Jesus was still speaking, Judas came, who was one of the twelve, and with him a crowd with torches, swords and clubs. They came from the leaders, the chief priests, the scribes and elders. 44 Now the betrayer had given them a sign, saying, “He who I greet with a kiss is the one.” 45 And when he came, he went up to him at once and said, “Rabbi!” And kissed him. 46 And so they seized Jesus to lead him away under guard. 47 But one of those who stood by drew his sword and struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his ear. 48 And Jesus said, “Have you come out as against a robber, with swords and clubs to capture me? 49 Day after day I was with you in the temple teaching, and you didn’t arrest me. But the Scripture will be fulfilled.” 50 And the disciples all left him and fled. 51 And a young man had come there, with nothing but a linen cloth about his body. {Likely awoken from somewhere by the light and tumult.} And they tried to seize him, 52 but he left the linen cloth and ran away naked.

     53 And they led Jesus to the high priest. And all the chief priests, the elders and the scribes were gathered there.

     LUKE 22:47 - And while he was still talking, a crowd came, and Judas, one of the twelve, was leading them. He drew near to Jesus to greet him with a kiss, 48 but Jesus said to him, “Judas, would you betray the Son of Man with a kiss?” 49 And when those who were around him saw what would follow, they said, “Lord, shall we strike with the sword?” 50 And one of them struck the servant of the high priest and cut off his right ear. 51 But Jesus said, “No, there is no need for that.” And he touched his ear and healed it.

     52 Then he said to those who had come out against him, “Have you come out now with swords and clubs? 53 When I was with you every day in the temple? And no one laid hands on me. But this is your hour, and the hour of the power of darkness.” {Imperfect is an abyss (of potential). There’s bound to be oppressions, the stronger will rule the not as strong and vulnerable. Just as God prophesied in Eden. It took a long time for some of humanity to crawl out from under kingly POWER. Rome for a time was a republic of city-states, a check on power, by dividing the power(s). God is the only fit ruling force and over-rule.}

     54 Then they led him away, and brought him to the high priest's house, and Peter was following at a distance.

REVELATION - 12 7-12

BOOK OF REVELATION

     {After the manchild(/Son of man) was taken up to God’s throne where he will rule with the unbreakable measuring rod of Truth, and the faith had fled, migrated} 7 - War arose in heaven, Michael and his angels warred against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels warred against Michael and his angels. 8 But the dragon hadn’t the strength, and no longer was a place for them found in heaven. 9 And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent (oR “cherubim” from Ezek.28:12-  “Son of man, raise a lamentation over the king of Tyre {god of this world}.. you were in Eden, the garden of God.. an anointed covering cherub [kerub - an order of angelic beings, cherub, cheribim].

     I appointed you on the holy mountain.. You were blameless in your ways from the day you were created, till unrighteousness [evel or avel or avlah or olah - unrighteousness, injustice] was found in you..”

     (Like David is used as a representation of Christ in prophecy, so too are despotic kings used as a representation of Satan the adversary.)

     9 And the great dragon was thrown out, that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world—he was thrown to the earth, and his angels were thrown with him. 10 And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, “Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come {to the heavens}! For “the accuser” of our brethren has been thrown out {of heaven, not yet Earth} who accused them day and night {right} before our God.

     11 And the brethren overcome him because of the blood of the lamb, and because of [dia - by, because of, for the sake of, by reason of, through] the word of their testimony, and (word for word) (they) not loved the life of them unto death”. {I think may also read? — didn’t love their life that leads to death? Perhaps, in this verse anyway, in Rev.20 is different?🀷🏼‍♀️} 12 “Therefore, rejoice, O heavens and you who dwell therein! But woe to you, O earth and sea, for the devil has come to you in great wrath, because he knows his time is short.” {And total world domination is still the goal. Which has  nothing to do with ‘afterlife’ or that is, between life, i.e. between death and resurrection, and, or later, as it’s resurrection into 2nd advent to serve called reigning, or, towards end of 2nd advent into GWT judgment/“korrection” ‘Day’}.

☀️ 17 - But in the following, I (Paul) cannot commend you, because when you come together it’s not for the better but for the worse. 18 First thing being, when you come together as a church, I hear there are divisions among you. 19,20 And when you come together, it’s not the Lord's {peaceful, togetherness} supper you eat. If there must be splits and factions among you, perhaps it will at least reveal the genuine from the not so genuine.

    21 Then I hear as well, that in eating, one piles their plate while another goes hungry. And still another gets drunk.

     22 What! Do you not have houses to eat and drink in? Or is it that you despise the church of God and humiliate those who haven’t as much as you? Should I praise you in this!? Certainly not! What can I even say?

πŸŒ™ 26 - And when they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives. 27 And Jesus said, “You shall all fall away, just as it’s written, ‘I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered.’ 28 But after I’m raised up, I’ll go before you to Galilee.”

     29 Peter said, “Even though all fall away, I never will.” 30 But Jesus said, “Truly, I tell you, this very night, before the rooster crows twice, you’ll deny me three times.” 31 But Peter repeated, “If I must die with you, I’ll not deny you.” And they all said the same. (This was true later, after Pentecost, the coming of God’s Spirit/Presence with them.)

       32 And they went to a garden/park called Gethsemane. And he said to his disciples, “Sit here while I pray.” 33 And with him he took Peter, James and John, and he became very troubled. 34 And said to them, “My soul is very sorrowful, even to death. Remain here and watch.” (Be sober, be vigilant.) 35 And going a little further, he fell down upon the earth and prayed if it were possible, the hour might pass from him, 36 saying, “Abba, Father, all things are possible for you. Remove this cup from me. But not my will, but your will be done.” 37 And he came and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, “Simon, are you asleep? Could you not watch one hour? 38 Watch and pray, the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.” 39 And again he went a little distance and prayed, saying the same words. 40 And he returned and found them sleeping, for their eyes were heavy, and they didn’t know what to say to him in answer. 41 And he came the third time and said, “Are you still sleeping and taking your rest? It’s enough. The hour is come. The Son of Man is betrayed into the hands of sinners. 42 Rise, let us be going, my betrayer is at hand.”

     [Sin/Hamartia - “missing the mark” {of Perfection, thus this entropy, this crucible/slow gehenna, imperfection. Because God iS Life, and “is Perfect” Mt.5:48. And therefore the ‘end’ result of all this, can only be the best one possible. And imperfect can never work.}]

     LUKE 22:39 (Luke was a Greek physician, not one of the twelve.) - And Jesus went as was his habit, to the Mount of Olives, and the disciples were with him. 40 And when he came to the place, he said, “Pray that you not enter into temptation.” 41 And he went about a stone's throw away, and knelt down and prayed, 42 “Father, if you’re willing, take this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but yours.” 43 And there appeared to him an angel from heaven, strengthening him. 44 And being in torment he prayed more earnestly, and his sweat became like great drops of blood falling to the ground. 45 And when he rose from prayer, he came to the disciples and found them sleeping for they were very tired. 46 And he said to them, “Why are you sleeping? Wake up and pray that you may not enter into temptation.”

☀️ [Answering questions sent in a letter continues.] 11 - Nevertheless, woman is not independent of man nor man of woman, including in the Lord! 12 As woman was made from man, so man is now born of woman! And all are from God. [Translators changed “all” to “all things” whenever it would work, in this verse and many more.] 13 Judge for yourselves - is it proper for a wife to pray to God with her head uncovered? 14 Does not nature {culture of the day?} itself teach you that if a man wears long hair it is a disgrace for him? {But we don’t know what was considered long or short.} 15 But if a woman has long hair, it is her glory. For her hair is given to her for a covering. 16 If anyone is inclined to be - contentious - we have no such practice, nor do the churches of God.

πŸŒ™ [Jesus continues his prayer.] 12 - “While I was with them, I have kept them in your name [onoma - name, character, fame, reputation, cause] that you’ve given to me. I’ve guarded them, and not one of them has been lost except the son of destruction [apΓ³leia - destruction, ruin, loss, perdition/utter ruin {but “God is savior of all” 1Tim.4:10}] just as the scripture said.

     13 But now I’m coming to you, and these things I speak while still in the world, so they may have my joy in them. 14 I’ve given them your word, your message. [LΓ³gos - from lΓ©gō - speaking to a conclusion - a word, being the expression of a thought, a saying, a common term - sharing a message, discourse, communication, speech, a broad term meaning reasoning expressed by words.] “And the world has hated them. Because they’re not of the world, just as I’m not of the world. 15 I don’t ask that you take them out of the world. But that you keep them from the evil of it. 16 They’re noT of the world, just as I’m not of the world. 17 Sanctify (purify) {and make whole} them in the truth. Your word is truth.”

     {Untruth is like an old cloth of raggedy holes? Two opposite ‘holeys’! Life versus entropy..}

    18 “As you sent me into the world, so I send them into the world. 19 And for their sake I sanctify [hagiazΓ³ - sanctify, make holy, consecrate, purify, set apart] myself, that they also may be sanctified by truth.” [Sanctified “by” - (en: in, on, at, by, with, among) truth. ..Washed.]

     {1Cor.3:14-17 talks about error and falsehood as polluting our temple - (Paul wrote) - “If anyone’s work they’ve done, endures, they’ll receive a reward {they’ll share in the reward?} Do you not know? You are a temple of God and the Spirit {Presence) of God dwells in you? If anyone pollutes God's temple..” ..Remember the dude who reached out his hand to steady the Ark of the Covenant? It’s best if our message is holy and not holey..? About that dude, death is as a transplanting into an as yet untilled garden awaiting resurrection “into aionion kolasis” / eonian korrection / age of correction, the GWT ‘Day’. And the person is hades/not seen, being in a (temporary) state of being gone.}

     20 “I don’t ask only for these, but also for those who will believe in me through their testimony. 21 That they will all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you. That they also will be in us. And the world will believe that you have sent me. {Alas, fulfilled during long second advent? As there will be survivors of Armageddon as a thousand years later, who does the adversary go out and gather from all over the globe, to surround the millennial Jerusalem for another Armageddon ..Coincidentally, two of the three mentions of a “lake of fire” are at these two armageddon events.}

     22 “The glory that you’ve given me, Father, I give to them. So that they may be one, even as we are one. 23 I in them, and you in me. That they will become perfectly one, so the world will know that you sent me and that you love them even as you love me.

     24 Father, I desire [thelΓ³ -  will, wish, desire, intend] that they also, whom you’ve given me, will be with me where I am, to see my glory that you’ve given to me, because you loved me before the foundation of the world.

     25 Oh righteous Father, even though the world doesn’t know you, I know you. And these know that you have sent me. 26 I made known to them your name [onomo - name, reputation, cause] and I will continue to make it known {the cause} that the very love with which you have loved me, may be in them. And I in them.”

     18:1 - And when he had spoken these words, he went out with the disciples across Kidron Brook, into a garden there. 2 And Judas, who betrayed him, also knew the place, for Jesus often went there with his disciples.

☀️ [Continuing, addressing questions the Corinthian believers had sent in a letter] 1 - Be imitators of me [Paul], as I am of Christ. 2 I’m happy that you’ve been keeping the instructions and traditions as I handed them on to you.

3 Custom tells us the head of a wife is her husband, the head of every man is Christ, and the head of Christ is God. 4 Every man who prays or prophesies with his head covered dishonors his head, 5 but every wife who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonors her head, since it’s the same as if her head were shaved. 6 Yes, if she refuses to wear a head covering, she should cut off all her hair! But since it’s shameful for a woman to have her hair cut or her head shaved, she should wear a covering. 7 A man should not wear anything on his head when worshiping, for man is made in God’s image and reflects God’s glory. And woman reflects man’s glory. 8 For man is not of woman, but woman of man. 9 And also was a man not created because of the woman, but a woman because of the man. 10 That is why a wife ought to have a symbol of authority on her head, because of the angels. {Protection?} [Exousia - authority, power, right, jurisdiction, from exesti - what is allowed or permissible under the law or custom.] {Paul also wrote “..there is neither Jew nor Greek.. male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus” - Gal.3:28. Genesis 5:2 - “God created them male and female, and named them Adam [adam - man, mankind]”.}

πŸŒ™ 1 - When Jesus had said all these things, he looked up toward heaven, and he said, “Father, the hour is come. Glorify your Son, for then the Son will glorify you. 2 [Kathos: as, just as, even as, in the same way as] you have given him authority {say and sway?} over all flesh to give enduring life to all you’ve given him. 3 And this is the enduring life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.

     4 I glorified you upon earth, having accomplished the work you gave me to do. 5 And now, Father, glorify me in your own presence with the glory that I had with you before the world existed.

    6 I’ve made known your name [onoma - name, character, fame, reputation, cause] to the ones you gave me out of the world. They were yours and you gave them to me. And they have kept your word. 7 Now they know that everything that you have given me is from you. 8 For I’ve given them the words that you gave me, and they have received them and have come to know in truth that I came from you. And they have believed that you sent me. 9 I’m praying for them. I’m not praying for the world but for those you’ve given me, for they are yours. 10 All mine are yours, and yours are mine, and I’m glorified in them. 11 And I’m no longer in the world, but they’re in the world, and I’m coming to you. Holy Father, keep them in your name [onoma - name, character, fame, reputation, cause] which you’ve given to me - that they may be one - even as we are one.”

ACTS 10 1-20

      The Acts of the First Believers

1 - At Caesarea there was a man named Cornelius, a centurion of a Roman military guard. 2 He was a devout man who revered God along with all his household. He gave alms generously to the people, and he prayed daily to God. 3 At about the ninth hour on a certain day, he saw in a clear vision, an angel of God come in and say, “Cornelius.”

     4 Which frightened him. And he said, “What is it, Lord?” And the angel of the LORD said, “Your prayers and giving of gifts have risen like incense before God. 5 Send some men to Joppa and bring the man Simon who’s called Peter. 6 He’s staying with a leather tanner, whose name is Simon and whose house is by the sea.” 7 When the angel had left, he called two of his hired servants and a devout soldier, 8 and relating everything to them, he sent them off to Joppa for Peter.

     9 On the next day, as they were nearing the city, at about the sixth hour, an hour of prayer, Peter was on the housetop. 10 While praying he became hungry and was waiting for something to eat, while they were preparing the meal. He fell into a trance 11 and saw the heavens opened. And saw something like a great sheet descending. It was being let down by its four corners onto the earth. 12 And in it were all kinds of animals, reptiles and birds of the air.

     13 And there came a voice, saying, “Rise, Peter, kill and eat.” 14 But Peter said, “No LORD! For I’ve never eaten anything that is common or unclean!” 15 And the voice came again, saying “What God has made clean, don’t call common [koinoΓ³ - common, not special].”16 This happened three times. And then the sheet was taken up the way it came.

    17 While Peter was puzzled as to what the vision might mean. Meanwhile the men who had been sent by Cornelius, having asked kn town where the house of the tanner by the sea was, were standing at the gate. 18 And they called out to ask whether Simon who was called Peter was there. 19 Peter was still pondering the vision, and the Spirit of God said to him, “Behold, three men are looking for you. 20 Go down and accept them without hesitation, for I’ve sent them here to ask for you.”

     {Hebrews were supposed to remain “separated” (called out) from the nations/world - to preserve their own (righteous) culture - in order to birth into the world, the “savior of the world” somewhat in context, as opposed to being born among strange customs?}

For why should my liberty be determined by someone else's conscience? {Hello? Divisive carnal influencers.}

     30 If I partake with thankfulness, why am I denounced (judged) for that which I give thanks?

     31 So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do {including weekly Sabbath or everyday Sabbath} do all for the glory of God. 32 Give no offense to Jews or to Greeks or to the church of God, 33 just as I try to please everyone in the things I do, not seeking my own satisfaction, but that of others, that many may be delivered. {That many might come to the Truth, not stalled over secondary issues of individual conscience. πŸŒ™ 24 - The disciples were debating among theirselves, which of them would be the greatest. {Lol. Part of human condition.} 25 Knowing it, Jesus said, “The kings of the nations rule and those in authority are called great, and benefactor. {And what they give they can take away?} 26 But it’s not to be so with you. Rather, the greatest among you, should be as the youngest. And the leader as one who serves. 27 For who is greater? (In the world.) One who reclines at table, or the one who serves? Is it not the one who reclines at table? But here I am with you, as the one who serves.

     28 You are those who’ve been with me during my trials, 29 and I delegate to you, as my Father delegated to me, a kingdom. 30 That you may eat and drink at my table - in my kingdom - and you disciples sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.” {Like the Hebrew judges of old?}

     31 “Simon Peter, Satan has wanted to break through upon you.. It will sift you like wheat” {beating the chaff/husk off the kernel of wheat}. 32 I’ve prayed for you that your faith not fail you. And when you’ve recovered, strengthen your brothers.”

     33 Peter said, “Lord, I’m ready to go with you both to prison and to death!”

     34 Jesus said, “I tell you, Peter, the rooster won’t crow in the morning until you’ve denied knowing me three times.”

     35 Then to all of them, he said, “When I sent you out with no bag, moneybag or extra sandals, did you lack anything?”

     “No,” they said. 36 “But now” Jesus said, “let the one who has a bag take it, and likewise a moneybag. And let the one who has no sword sell his cloak and buy one. 37 For I tell you that this Scripture must be fulfilled, ‘And he was numbered with criminals.’ For what’s written is always fulfilled.”

☀️ 14 - Therefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry. 15 I speak as to sensible people. Judge for yourselves what I say. 16 The cup of blessing that we bless, is it not a participation in the blood of Christ? The bread that we break, is it not a participation in the body of Christ? {They did it literally during meal time/breaking of bread, but it’s also meant for us as a spiritual formula? For truest spiritual success, our daily bread, the written logos to us, dipped liberally into the new wine of God’s Spirit/Presence.. Especially in these days of high information technology, it’s better to be “mind-washed” by GOD’s message - logos means “reasoning expressed in words” so God’s reasoning - than by the world’s reasoning and voice. We can easily get past the human translator errors in the message, which has more or less hijacked the message! And, like we dump the pieces of a jigsaw puzzle out on the table, and we then separate the pieces which are the border.. and then the color matching parts.. We need to know the bible, to see the pieces and where they fit.}

     17 There is the one bread (Christ) and we who are many are one body. For we all partake of the one bread. 18 Consider the people of Israel, were not those who ate the sacrifices, participants in the altar? 19 What do I imply then? That food offered to idols of the nations is anything? Or that an idol is anything? 20 No, I imply that what pagans sacrifice they offer to demons and not to God. Surely you shouldn’t be participants with demons. 21 You cannot drink the cup of the LORD and the cup of demons. You cannot partake of the table of the LORD and the table of demons. 22 Shall we provoke the LORD to jealousy? Are we stronger than he?

     23 “Such things are lawful” {like eating meat from the market place that has been offered to an idol of the world} but not all things are helpful. “Such things are lawful,” but not all things build up. 24 Let no one seek his own good, but the good of his neighbor. {Don’t argue about days and foods?! ..Paul was saying if eating food sacrificed to an idol will offend your brother or sister, consider that, instead of what our own wishes might be.}

πŸŒ™ 17 - So some of the disciples said to each other, “What is this he’s saying? ‘A little while, and you’ll not see me, and again a little while, and you’ll see me’? And, ‘because I’m going to the Father’? 18 What does he mean by ‘a little while’? We don’t understand.”

     19 Jesus knew they wanted to ask, so he said, “Are you wondering, what I mean, ‘A little while and you won’t see me. And again a little while and you’ll see me’?

    20 Truly, I tell you, you will weep and mourn, but the world will rejoice. You’ll be sorrowful, but your sorrow will turn to joy. 21 When a woman gives birth, she has sorrow because her hour has come, but when she’s delivered the baby, she no longer remembers the pain and labor, for joy that a human being has been born into the world! 22 So also you have sorrow now, but I’ll see you again, and your hearts will rejoice. And then no one will take your joy from you. 23 In that day you’ll ask nothing of me. Truly, I tell you, whatever you ask of the Father in my name [onoma - name, reputation, cause] he’ll give it to you. 24 Until now you haven’t asked in my name. Ask, and you’ll receive, so your joy will be full.

     25 “I’ve said these things to you in figures of speech. But the hour’s coming when I’ll no longer speak to you in parables and illustrations but will tell you plainly about the Father. 26 In that day you’ll ask in my name, and I don’t say I’ll ask the Father on your behalf. 27 For the Father himself loves you, because you have loved me and believe that I came from Him. 28 I came from the Father and have come into the world, and now I’m leaving the world and going (back) to the Father.”

     29 The disciples said, “Now you’re speaking plainly! And not using parables and proverbs. 30 Now we know that you know all things and don’t need anyone to question you. And this is why we know you came from God.”

     31 Jesus answered, “Do you now believe? 32 Behold, the hour’s coming, indeed has come, when you’ll be scattered, each to his own home, and will leave me alone. Yet I won’t be alone, for the Father’s with me. 33 I’ve said these things to you, so that in me you may have peace. In the world you’re bound to have tribulation. But take heart! I’ve overcome the world.”

☀️ 7 - Don’t be idolaters as some were, as it’s written, “The people sat down to eat and to drink and rose up to play.” 8 We mustn’t indulge in sexual immorality as some of them did. And twenty-three thousand fell in a single day. 9 We shouldn’t put Christ to the test, as some did and were overcome by serpents, 10 nor grumble, as some did and were destroyed by the destroyer. 11 Now these things happened to them as an example, but they were written down for our instruction, on whom the end of the ages has come. {70 CE as the end of ages, beginning of the “time of the gentiles/nations” which will have its fuller scope end of the age(s).}

     12 Therefore let anyone who thinks they stand take heed lest they fall. {Especially should we think we are superior.. on a higher level than others? Can’t err..?} 13 No temptation has overtaken you that isn’t common to man. God is faithful, and won’t let you be tested beyond your ability, but with the temptation [peirasmos - temptation, trial, testing] he will also provide the way of escape [ekbasis- output, way of escape, exit] that you may be able to endure [hupophero - endure, suffer, bear up under] it.

πŸŒ™ 1 - “I (Jesus) have told you all these things to keep you from falling away. 2 They’ll put you out of the meeting places. Indeed, the hour’s coming when whoever kills you will think they’re doing God a favor. 3 And they’ll do these things because they haven’t known the Father. Nor me. 4 But I’ve told you, so when the hour comes, you’ll remember that I told you.

     I didn’t tell you these things before, because I was with you. 5 But now I’m going to the one who sent me, and none of you asks me, ‘Where are you going?’ 6 But because I’ve said these things, sorrow has filled your hearts. 7 Nevertheless, I tell you truly, it’s to your advantage that I go away, for if I don’t, the Helper won’t come. But if I go, I’ll send him to you. [“Helper” - paraklΓ©tos - properly one called near to give help.] 8 And when he comes {God’s Spirit/Presence (with us)} he will convince the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment. 9 Concerning sin, because they don’t believe in me. 10 Concerning righteousness, because I go to the Father, and you’ll see me no longer. 11 Concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged. {THE scapegoat/azazel?}

     12 I still have many things to tell you, but you cannot bear [bastazΓ³ - bear, carry, endure, support] them now. 13 When however the Spirit of the Truth comes, he’ll guide you into all truth, for he won’t speak of (about?) himself, but will [akouΓ³ - hear, listen, understand] and [laleΓ³ -  speak, talk, utter] and will declare to you the things coming. 14 He will glorify {and magnify?} me. For from that which is mine he will disclose to you. 15 All that the Father has is mine. Therefore I said that he will take what is mine, and will make it known to you.

     20 Remember how I said to you, ‘A servant isn’t greater than their master.’ If they” {who? ruling powers/the world} “persecuted me, they’ll persecute you. If they kept my word, they’ll keep yours. 21 But all these things they’ll do to you on account of my name [onoma - name, cause] because they don’t know the one who sent me. 22 If I hadn’t come and spoken, they wouldn’t be exposed, but now they have no cover. 23 Whoever hates me, hates my Father also. 24 If I hadn’t done among them the works that no one else has done, they wouldn’t be guilty. But now they have seen these things {all that occurred} and have hated both me and my Father. 25 But, the words written in the Law itself will be fulfilled, ‘They hated me without cause.’

Book of Revelation

     {Chapter 12 is the second of three tellings of the revelation vision, but may apply otherwise as well?}

     1 - A great sign appeared in heaven! A woman who was clothed with the sun and the moon was under her feet. Upon her head was a crown of twelve stars. 2 She was with child and was crying out because of her birth pains and the torment of giving birth.

     3 And then another sign appeared in heaven - behold! A great red dragon. This dragon had seven heads and ten horns. And on the heads were seven royal crowns. [“The ‘god’ of this world” 2Cor.4:4 (who ends up being seven “changing” versions of false “light”/entities/‘world’ empires, throughout Earth’s ages.] 4 His tail swept down a third of the stars of heaven and cast them to the earth. {Obviously, this is one third of the angels, as surely(?) some angels followed the cherubim which plotted his revolt using Eden - “you were a covering angel [kerub - probably an order of angelic beings, cherub, cherubim — “Yahweh Sabaoth throned on the cherubim” 1Sam.4:4, referring to the Ark of the Covenant. A symbol. Cherubim - a high angel devised in his heart to “ascend above God”. And from being a high angelic being, became a dragon.}

     And the dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth so that when she bore her child he might devour [kill] it. 5 She gave birth to a manchild, one who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron {with Truth, a measuring rod that cannot be broken}. But instead he was caught up to God and to his throne. 6 And the woman {after that, and at the razing of Jerusalem in 70 CE} fled into the wilderness, where she {the faith} had a place prepared by God, in which she was to be fed [trephΓ³ - made to grow, nourished] for 1,260 ‘days’.

πŸŒ™ (Jesus continues on the eve of his crucifixion) 1 - “I am the vine, and my Father is the vinedresser” [geΓ³rgos - from Ξ³αΏ† - gΔ“, meaning earth or land, and ἔργον - ergon, meaning work or task — (vinedresser) someone who works the land, worker of the soil to plant, harvest, nurture and protect].

     2 “A branch of the vine that doesn’t bear fruit he takes away {from the plant/vine}. And a branch that does bear fruit he prunes. This is so it will bear more fruit.

     3 Already you’ve been pruned” [katharos - cleansed, purified, clear, free of contamination, english - catharsis, released] “because of the message I’ve spoken to you. 4 Abide in me, and I in you. The branch can’t bear fruit by itself. But only if it abides upon and with the vine.

     And neither can you, unless you abide in me. 5 I’m the vine. You’re the branches. Abide in me, and I in you, and you will bear much fruit. Apart from me, you can do nothing.” {Being apart from him is futile?}

     6 “If anyone doesn’t abide in me, they’ll be a like a branch that’s fallen to the ground. Such branches dry up and wither, and then they are gathered, and thrown into the fire”. {Not a forever pit called ‘hell’. Root word of logic, is logos. So with the parable of the wheat and tares, and the context and timing}

     7 IF you abide in me, and my words abide in you, whatever you ask, will be done. 8 By this my Father will be glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples. 9 As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love. 10 If you keep my words and instructions, you’ll abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father's words and instructions and abide in his love. 11 These things I’ve spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that it may be full.

     12 “This is my instruction [entolΓ© - command, order, instruction] that you love one another, as I have loved you. 13 Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. 14 You are my friends if you do what I tell you. 15 No longer do I call you servants, for the servant doesn’t know what their master is doing. But I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you. 16 You didn’t choose me. I chose you and I have appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should endure, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you. 17 These things I tell you, so that you will love one another.

But if not willingly, still, I’m entrusted with a stewardship! 18 What then is my reward? That in my preaching I may present the gospel free of charge! By not making use of my right in the gospel. 19 For I consider myself free from all. And have made myself to be as a servant to all, that I might win all the more {over to Jesus, the savior from imperfection, which is entropy-which “doesn’t quit”}. 20 To the Jews I’m as a Jew, in order to win Jews. To those under the law I’m as one under the law, that I might win those under the law. {In Jesus, concerning the law, we are not required, we are enabled. Our nature is changed. Jesus in us, and us in him.} 21 To those outside the law I am as one outside the law, not as outside the law of God but under the law of Christ, that I might win those outside the law. {Not too ‘righteous’ to find common ground! Yet enabled to “overcome”.} 22 To the weak I am weak, that I might win the weak. I’ve become all things to all people {finding common ground (last yr’s note)} that by all means I might save some. 23 I do it all for the sake of the gospel, that I may share with them, its blessings. {Where is the hyped up, afterlife mythical threat?}

And the word (message) you hear me say isn’t mine, but is from the Father who sent me.

      25 These things I’ve spoken to you while I’m still with you. 26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit {Presence of God, to be with you} which the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I’ve said to you. 27 Peace I leave with you. My peace, I give to you. Not as the world gives, so let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. 28 You heard me say to you, ‘I’m going away, and I’ll come again.’ If you love me, you’ll rejoice, because I’m going to the Father, and the Father is greater than I am. 29 And now I’ve told you beforehand, so when it happens, you’ll believe. 30 I won’t talk much more, for the ruler of this world is coming. And those who serve at the altar share in the sacrificial offerings upon it? 14 In the same way, the Lord instructed that those who proclaim the gospel should get their living by the gospel (Matthew 10:10; Luke 10:8; compare Galatians 6:6).

      15 But I’ve made no use of this, nor am I writing these things to obligate any such provision.      13 Whatever you ask in my name [onoma - name, authority, cause] I’ll do it, this is so the Father will be glorified in the Son. 14 If you ask me anything in my name [authority, cause] I’ll do it.

     15 If you love me, you’ll keep my instructions. 16 And I’ll ask the Father, and he’ll give you another helper, this one to be with you to the age, 17 even the Spirit of truth, whom the world is unable to receive, because it doesn’t see him or know him. You know him. For he is with you, and, will be in you. {The Father’s Presence.}

☀️ 1 - Am I not free? Am I (Paul) not an apostle? Haven’t I seen Jesus our Lord? Are you not my evidence in the Lord? 2 If to others I’m not an apostle, at least I am to you, for you are the fruit and proof of my apostleship in the Lord. 3 This is my defense to those who would test me. 4 Do we too have the right to eat and drink? 5 Do we have the right to take along a believing wife, as do the other apostles and the brothers of the Lord and Peter? 6 Or is it only Barnabas and I who are criticized and haven’t the right to not toil for a living? 7 Who serves as a soldier at his own expense? Who plants a vineyard without eating any of its fruit? Or who tends a flock without getting some of the milk?

     8 Do I say these things on human authority? Does not the Law say the same? 9 For it’s written in the Law of Moses, “You shall not muzzle an ox when it treads out the grain.” Is it only for oxen that God is concerned? 10 Does he not certainly speak for our sake? It was written for our sake, because the plowman should plow in hope. And the thresher should thresh in hope of sharing in the crop. 11 If we have sown spiritual things among you, is it a great thing if we reap earthly things among you? (Verse 4.)

 N.T. IN A YEAR READING & STUDY [ ]REFERENCES { }THOTS, VERSES R PARAPHRASED

πŸŒ™ 1 - It was before the Feast of Passover and Jesus knew the hour had come to leave the world, and go {back} to the Father. Having loved his disciples and followers, he loved them to the end. 2 Now during supper, the devil had already put it into the heart of Judas Iscariot to betray him. 3 But Jesus, knowing the Father had put all in his hands, and that he had come from God, and was returning to God, 4 rose from supper, laid aside his outer clothing, and took a towel and tied it around his waist. 5 Then he poured some water into a basin and began to wash the disciples' feet and to wipe them with the towel. (It was a courtesy to provide water for guests to wash their dusty and overheated feet, travel for most being by foot.)

     6 When he came to Simon Peter, Peter said, “Lord, do you wash my feet?!” 7 Jesus answered, “You don’t understand, now what I’m doing, but you will later.” 8 Peter said, “Lord! You cannot wash my feet!” But Jesus said, “If I don’t do this, you will have no share with me in this work.” 9 So Peter said, “Not just my feet! But my hands and head too!”

     10 Jesus said, “Someone who has already bathed, needs only to wash their feet. And all of you are clean but one.” 11 For he knew who was going to betray him. That was why he said, “All but one.” [I read in a commentary - Ellicott’s - which said Judas didn’t spiritually wash his feet from the world’s influences daily, and thus his falling to temptation.] {He loved money. He didn’t know they wanted Jesus to be executed.}

     12 When Jesus was done, he put his outer clothing back on, sat back down at the table, and said, “Do you know why I did that? 13 You call me Teacher and Lord, and so I am. 14 If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet. 15 For I’ve given you an example, that you should do just as I’ve done. {Watch out for one another! Be humble and helpful.}

     16 Truly, I tell you, a servant isn’t greater than his master. Nor is a messenger greater than the one who sends the message. 17 If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them. 18 I’m not speaking of all of you. I know who I’ve chosen. But the Scripture says, ‘He who ate my bread has lifted his heel against me’ and it shall be fulfilled. 19 I’m telling you this now, before it happens, so when it does happen you’ll believe that I’m he. 20 Truly, I tell you, whoever receives the one I send, receives me. And whoever receives me, receives the Father who sent me.”

     Book of the Acts of the First Believers

21 - And all who were listening to Saul, later called Paul, were amazed! They were saying, “Isn’t this the man who raised havoc in Jerusalem among those who call upon the Lord Jesus? And didn’t he come here to arrest and drag more believers in chains before the chief priests?” 22 But Saul increased all the more in strength, and was confounding the Synagogue leaders who lived in Damascus by proving that Jesus was the Christ.

     23 Then, after many days, they plotted to kill him! 24 But their plot became known to him. They were watching the gates day and night, 25 so some disciples led him out by night and lowered him in a basket, through an opening in the city wall.

     26 Then when Saul (Paul) came to Jerusalem, he tried to join the disciples there. But they were afraid of him, and didn’t believe he was a disciple. 27 But Barnabas befriended him and brought him to the apostles. Then he explained to them how on the road he had seen the Lord. How he had spoken to him, and how at Damascus he had preached boldly the name of Jesus. 28 After that Saul went in and out among them at Jerusalem, preaching boldly in the name of the Lord.

     29 He would also speak with and dispute with the Hellenists (Greek culture Hebrews). But they were seeking to kill him. 30 And when the brothers learned this, they brought him down to Caesarea and sent him to Tarsus.

     31 So the church {brotherhood and sisterhood} throughout all Judea, Galilee and Samaria had peace and the faith was growing. And walking in the reverence of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit {Presence of God} the faith was multiplying.

     32 Meanwhile, Peter too was going in and out among them all. And then he went also down to Lydda and the believers who lived there. 33 While there he came across a man named Aeneas, who had been paralyzed and bedridden for eight long years. 34 And Peter said to him, “Aeneas, Jesus Christ heals you! Rise up and pick up your bed!” And immediately he did. 35 And all the residents of Lydda and Sharon saw him as healed, and they turned to the Lord.

     36 Now in Joppa, there was a disciple named Tabitha, which, translated is Dorcas. She had done many acts of charity and good works. 37 But in those days she had become ill and died. They had prepared her, and laid her in an upper room.

     38 Since Lydda was near Joppa, the disciples, hearing that Peter was there, sent two men to him, urging him, “Please come to us without waiting.” 39 So Peter went with them and when he was there, they took him to the upper room. All the widows were standing there weeping and showing tunics and other garments that Dorcas had made while she was with them. 40 But Peter put them all out, and then he knelt down and prayed. And turning to her he said, “Tabitha, arise.” And she opened her eyes. When she saw Peter she sat up, 41 and he took her by the hand and helped her to stand up. Then, calling the saints and widows, he presented her to them alive. 42 And it became known throughout all Joppa, and many believed in the Lord. 43 And he stayed in Joppa for many days with one Simon, a tanner who lived by the sea.
