          Luke 23:24-31

24 So finally Pilate gave in to their loud demands. 25 He released to them the man convicted of murderous insurrection, and surrendered Jesus to their will. 26 As the soldiers led him away (after flogging him, Jn.19:1) they made Simon of Cyrene who was coming in from the countryside, carry his cross. 27 A large crowd was trailing behind, including many grief stricken and weeping women. 28 Jesus said to them, “Daughters of Jerusalem, don’t weep for me, but weep for yourselves and for your children. 29 For the days will come when they will say, ‘Happy are those who are without child, those who have not borne a child, and have never nursed.’”  [Both end of that age/aion at 70 CE, aNd, at the consummation of all these ages] 30 “For they will say to the mountains, ‘Fall on us!’ and to the hills, ‘Cover us!’ 31 If they will do this - during a green wood - what will they do during a DRY wood?” (Rev.12:16, the chapter being a stand alone insert-which is obvious once appreciated. But vs.17 needs Mt.23:39.)

From New Testament Letters

 ~ 1 Corinthians 12:31-13:13 ~

31 So in conclusion, I want you to desire the best gifts. And I will show you the more excellent way. (“God is Love” 1Jn.4:8. Love makes the gifts shine.)

13:1 - What if I could speak every language of man and even of angels? If I do not love others, I am nothing more than a noisy gong, or loud clanging cymbals. 2 If I am able to prophecy, and can understand God’s mysteries and have ‘all’ knowledge, and a faith that can move mountains, and do not love, I am nothing. 3 If I gave everything I may have to the poor and if I even sacrificed my body, I could boast about it - but if I don’t love others, I would have gained nothing. 4 Love is patient and kind. It doesn’t envy, it doesn’t boast, and it is not proud. 5 It is not rude, and doesn’t demand its own way. Love is not easily angered and does not keep a record of wrongs. 6 It takes no pleasure in evil, but rejoices in the truth. 7 Love never gives up and never loses faith. Love hopes and endures all things. 8 Love. Never. Fails. Prophesying will end, tongues will cease, and special knowledge will pass away. (Swallowed up in the light, truth understood.) 9 Now we know in part, and only in part do we prophecy. 10 But when the perfect, full and complete comes, the in part will pass away. 11 When I was a child, I thought, spoke and reasoned as a child, but when grown, I did away with the childish. 12 For now, we see through a glass that is not clear, but then, it shall be face to face. And now I know in part, but then shall I know in full, even as I am fully known. 13 Now abides faith, hope [elpis - expectation] and love. But the (by far) greatest - is love. (And it will, and has to, ruLe.)

11 - The angel continues: “And the” (many headed geopolitical) “beast that was, then is not” (in that day, Roman Empire and Holy Roman Empire) “but then is again” (and it is another angel/manifestation of false light - in the culmination of all earth’s ages - an entity/institution of man, which was, then wasn’t, then after rev.13:13 was again) “is itself an eighth and is of the seven, and it goes to destruction. 12 And the ten horns you saw, are ten kings” (and toes of Dn.2) “who have not yet received a rule and dominion, but will receive authority for one ‘hour’ along with the (huge, over) beast (of Last Hours, who “will exercise authority for forty two months”). 13 The ten have one mind and purpose, so they hand over their authority to the large beast. 14 They will make war against the Lord. And the Lord will conquer and prevail [nikaรณ - from nรญkฤ“ - (have) victory] against them for he is Lord of lords and King of kings.” 15 And the angel said to me, “the waters that you saw, that the prostitute sits upon, are peoples and multitudes, nations and tongues.” (And she also sits on the beast and upon seven hills/continents.. so the beast will, surely? be also upon the seven.) 16 “And the ten horns and the beast will hate the pro$titute [greek pornea] and will make her desolate and poorly clothed, and will eat the flesh” (substance) “of her, and will burn her down. 17 For God has put in their hearts to do his will, to give their kingdoms to the beast until his words are fulfilled. 18 And the woman you saw is the great $ity that has the kingship over the kings of Earth.” (Remember? They are, for now, in bed together - in bible speak, fornicating - God’s will because it was “by her enchantments that she was destroying the Earth” by destroying family thus culture - and they will consume/use her up, leaving ‘her’ desolate and poorly clad. The ten horned beast of Daniel 7:7 and 19, with its “iron teeth” (columns) “and bronze claws that tear up what the iron doesn’t crush” see also Dn.2:26-45, the iron/bronze foundations of the modern day overbeast.)

          Mark 15:16-32

16 The soldiers took Jesus into the governor’s courtyard, called the Praetorium, and called together the battalion. 17 Then they all put a purple robe on him and wound some thorn branches into a crown and put it on his head. 18 Then they said “Hail! King of the Jews!” 19 They struck him upon the head many times with a wooden staff, they spit on him, and mocking fell to their knees before him. 20 Then they removed the robe and led him out to be crucified. 21 Simon from Cyrene, father to Alexander and Rufus was passing by from the country and they had him carry the cross (or beam). 22 And they brought Jesus to a place called Golgotha, which name means “place of the skull”. 23 They offered him wine mixed with myrrh but he refused it. 24 Then the soldiers nailed him to the cross. And they threw dice over his clothing. 25 It was the third hour (from first hour, which was six o’clock) when they crucified him. (So at 9 a.m. which was at the very hour of the first - daily - sacrifice. Every day at 9 in the morning and at 3 in the afternoon which is Hebrew evening, the days ending and beginning at sunset rather than at midnight. Hebrew times of the daily sacrifices being third hour and ninth hour.  Now understand (imo, anyway) there’s only one logical reason for there having to be sacrifice and atonement — which atonement it is. But it was not, and is not, to appease a law, or to appease an angry God! Can you guess what it is that needs to be appeased? Are you telling me, that God as life giver and as judge of everything that is, that he cannot simply pardon anybody and every body? Resurrect all from their graves and “sleeping” state - and I think we can take it at face value that without resurrection we would all cease to be. As death (surely? barring all myth/s) is the opposite of Life, not a different realm of life and existence. And surely God is Life!? I mean what else would be? Or could be.. So to stray from him has a not good prognosis. I.e. the total and exact opposite of life. But how to prevent it? The straying and its consequences? Stick with nothing more than an ant farm? Ever?)

26 There was an inscription [epigraphรฉ] included on his cross (or beam) which said “King of the Jews”. 27 Crucified with him was two thieves. One on his right and one on his left. (๐Ÿค”This never before has made me think of the “sheep and goats” at his return having been gathered, the sheep to the right of him and the goats to the left. All the world is a stage (Shakespeare).. two collective roles, Mt.25.) 28 So the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “And He was numbered with the transgressors.” 29 People passing by hurled insults at him, shaking their heads and saying, “You said you would destroy the temple and build it again in three days! 30 Why don’t you come down from the cross and save yourself!”

From New Testament Letters

 ~ 1 Corinthians 12:21-30 ~

21 What would we be like if our eye said to our hand, “I don’t need you!” or if your head said to your foot, “I don’t need you?” 22 As a matter of fact, some body parts that are thought inferior are actually needed most of all. 23 And those we think less honorable, we honor all the more. The less attractive parts are made more attractive, 24 while the more attractive parts are more simply attired. And it’s God who has done the composing of it [sygkerรกnnymi - from sรฝn - identified with, intensifying kerรกnnymi - mix into a new and improved compound, properly, mix together into a superior compound – a holistic blend, unified whole where the parts work together synergistically]. 25 So there should be no division! All members of the body should have mutual care and concern for one another! 26 If one member suffers, all the members suffer. If a member is complimented or honored, all are honored and rejoice. 27 You are now a part and a portion of the body of Christ. 28 And in the church/believers [ekklฤ“sรญa - from ek - out from and to, and kalรฉล - to call (in the called)] he has appointed first of all, apostles, secondly prophets, thirdly teachers, thereafter miracles and gifts of healing, helping or of administration, and various kinds of tongues. 29 Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all have miracles? 30 Not all have gifts of healing, not all speak in tongues, and not all interpret.

          Luke 23:11-23

11 - Herod and his soldiers mocked and ridiculed Jesus. Then they put a fine robe on him and sent him back to Pilate. 12 And on that day Herod and Pilate became friends, when before this, they had been enemies. 13 Pilate called the chief priests, the leaders and the people back together, and said, 14 “You have brought to me this man claiming he is leading the people in a violent revolt, and I have examined him here in your presence, and cannot find ground for your charges. 15 Neither did Herod, for he sent him back to me. Nothing this man has done deserves the death penalty. 16 I will have him flogged and set free.” 17 As it was agreed each Passover that the governor would release a prisoner to them. 18 But the crowd shouted out “Away with him! Give us Barabbas!” 19 Barabbas was in the jail for rioting and murder. 20 But Pilate wanted to release Jesus, so he appealed to them again. 21 But they shouted all the more, “Crucify him! Crucify [stauroรณ - fence with stakes] him!” 22 He appealed to them a third time, “What has he done that deserves death?! I will have him severely whipped and release him.” 23 But they continued to loudly insist. And their clamor prevailed.

 ~ 1 Corinthians 12:14-20 ~

14 The human body is made up of more than one part! 15 Now imagine if the foot said, “I’m not a hand! So I’m not part of the body.” It wouldn’t make any difference. A foot is part of the body. 16 If the ear would say “I’m not an eye, so I’m not part of the body” it doesn’t make it any less a part of the body! 17 Just how would we hear if our ears were eyes! And how would we walk if our feet were hands? If we were just an ear, how could we smell? 18 Thankfully, our bodies have many parts, and they are where God has put them. 19 How dysfunctional a body would it be if it had only one part! 20 So you see a body (the body of Christ) has many parts, but it is one body.

1 - From Philippi, Paul and Silas went through Amphipolis and Apollonia, on their way to Thessalonica, where there was a synagogue. 2 As was his habit, Paul went to the synagogue on Sabbath, and for three Sabbaths he reasoned with them from the scriptures. 3 Showing how Messiah had to suffer and die and then rise from death, saying, “This Jesus I’m talking about, is the Messiah.” [Ps.16:10, etc./Acts 2:27 (Eccles.9:5,10).] 4 Some were convinced and joined Paul and Silas, along with many God fearing Greeks and prominent women of the town. 5 But others were jealous, so they rounded up some bad characters and started a riot and came in search of Paul and Silas at one Jason’s house in order to drag Paul and Silas out into the riot. 6 Not finding them, they instead brought Jason and some others to the city council shouting, “The men, Paul and Silas, have been causing trouble all over, and now they are here too! And causing riots! 7 And Jason has made them welcome in his home! They are all breaking the law, proclaiming allegiance to a king named Jesus!” 8 This threw the officials and the crowd into turmoil. (Rome might consider such a thing, if it happened, to be a revolt and Rome had an “iron” fist.) 9 But then they made Jason and the others post a bond and let them go. 10 Later that night, the believers sent Paul and Silas to the neighboring town of Berea, and when they got there they went to the synagogue. 11 The Jewish (Hebrew) people of Berea were more conscientiously minded than those of Thessalonica. They listened to Paul’s message and they searched the Scriptures each day to see if what Paul and Silas were teaching was true. 12 As a result, many of them believed, as did a number of prominent Greek women and some Greek men as well. 13 But when the leaders of Thessalonica heard Paul and Silas were teaching in Berea, they followed and stirred up a crowd against them. 14 So the believers hurried Paul on his way to the coast, but Silas and Timothy stayed in Berea for a while.

                         ~*~

     Very Brief Outline of Acts:

Jesus returns to where he was with the Father before his advent/visit (his brief first one).

The Holy Spirit/Presence of God is poured out on the believers who were in Jerusalem on the late Spring holy day of Pentecost. Peter speaks, there are 3000 new believers that day.

The good news message spreads, Peter is invited and goes to a Roman’s house and all believe. The first record of non Hebrew believers (besides likely some on Pentecost).

Persecution breaks out.. jail. stoning. Pharisee Saul leads the persecution, but on his way to Damascus with papers for arrests, Jesus makes himself seen but is so bright Paul falls to the ground and is blinded. After two days he is healed and is a believer, and soon is called Paul. He wrote many (to most) of the New Testament letters, but spent a few years (it seems to me) exclusively listening to the Lord. He established many ‘churches’ in what’s called three missionary journeys, and met and worked with Mark and Luke, and quite a few others. (Luke wrote this Book of Acts.) His fourth journey is to Rome to trial as a prisoner. There’s a shipwreck on the way.. He wrote many of his letters while in prison and under ‘house’ arrest.

1 - Then the council rose and led him off to Pilate. 2 They presented their case to him, saying, “This man has been telling the people not to pay their taxes to Rome (Mk.12:17) and saying that he is Christ, our king. (Christ is greek for “anointed one”, and is in place of the Hebrew “Messiah” which also means “anointed”. Kings and prophets were ‘inaugurated’ by being anointed with oil.) 3 So Pilate asked him, “Are you the king of the Jews?” Answering him, Jesus said, “So you say.” 4 Then Pilate told the chief priests “I find nothing wrong with this man.” 5 But they insisted saying, “This man has come all the way from Galilee. He began there and now has even come so far as to this city. And he stirs up the people wherever he goes! 6 When Pilate heard this, he asked if he was a Galilean. 7 When he knew that Jesus was under the jurisdiction of Herod, who also was in Jerusalem at the time, he sent him to him. 8 Herod was actually pleased about this, because for some time he had wanted to see Jesus, and was hoping to see a miracle. 9 He plied Jesus with many questions, but Jesus didn’t answer him at all. 10 At the same time, the leaders, the chief priests, and scribes kept stating their accusations.

   ~ 1 Corinthians 12:8-13 ~

8 The Holy Spirit gives to one person a word [logos] of wisdom, to another a word [logos] of knowledge, yet it is from the same Spirit/Presence of God. 9 To another he gives a great faith, to yet another a gift of healing, 10 to one, the working of miracles, to another, the ability to prophecy, or to discern spirits, or to speak in tongues, or to interpret tongues. (An angelic, prayer language, or like on the first Christian Pentecost, where many of different languages were gathered, to speak in another language the speaker doesn’t know. Doesn’t seem to happen in the modern world?) 11 All this is by the same Spirit enabling each as he wills. 12 Like a body has many parts, so are believers, Jesus’ body. 13 And we were all baptized into the one Spirit, Jew or Greek, rich or poor, and it’s of the one Spirit that we all drink.

         Matthew 27:1-10

1- Very early in the morning, the leaders held a meeting to decide how best to get Jesus executed. 2 Then they tied him up and took him to the Roman Governor, Pontius Pilate. 3 When Judas realized that Jesus was being condemned, he felt great remorse. He returned the thirty pieces of silver to the leaders, the chief priests 4 and told them, “I have betrayed innocent blood!” They replied, “What is that to us? That’s your problem!” 5  So Judas threw the money into the temple, and then he intentionally ended his life. (What occurs to despots, etc.. great doers of terrible abuses, upon Judgment ‘Day’ is well portrayed by Judas.. Jn.12:32 - Jesus “will draw all” - so they will come to gut wrenching remorse! Beating theirselves up with many stripes.. self condemnation.. But the inner, outside of the light darkness, will give way.. Rays of Light will enter.. for Jesus said he “will draw all”. Imagine awakening into “the judgment” and you’d been a child sex slave trafficker, or user. Can we see how it hAd to be “Christ Crucified”? An image and truth strong enough to appease even the very guiltiest of consciences.) 6 The priests picked up the money and decided they shouldn’t put it back into the temple treasury because it was “blood money”. 7 So they bought a potter’s field as a place to bury strangers. 8 And it’s called “field of blood” to this day. (When Matthew is writing the account some thirty or so years later.) 9 This fulfilled the prophecy of Jeremiah that says, “They took the thirty pieces of silver, the price at which he was valued” 10 and they gave it for the potter's field, as the Lord directed me” (directed Jeremiah, to portray the prophecy).

   ~ 1 Corinthians 12:1-7 ~

1 - Now about the different gifts God’s Spirit(/Presence) gives, I don’t want you, brothers and sisters, to be misinformed about it. 2 Remember, and consider that when you were of the nations, you were swept along and inclined toward mute idols (‘gods’ that are no gods). 3 So I want you to understand that no one speaking by God’s Spirit will curse or ban Jesus. And no one can say “Jesus is Lord” except by [en - in, on, at, by, with] God’s Spirit. 4 The gifts of the Spirit differ, but it is the one Spirit. 5 Just like there are differences in service, but the same Lord. 6 And there are varieties of works, but the same God working all in everyone. (๐Ÿค”Isn’t this saying he is working the same process/program/work in everyone? Well, perhaps it’s not what this verse is saying. But! I still will note that unless “all” are subjected to a fiery ‘place’ called hell, for a duration of time, none are! After all, the scripture says it is God who chooses the when of our salvation/reconciliation. He who chooses the roles - by a shake of the heavenly dice? - whether sheep or goat, wheat or still a wild weed. So why on Earth would one group experience so much more strident a rescue and transformation? The root word of logic is logos ..besides, the three mentions of lake of fire are at huge fiery events. The first one obviously manmade, Rev.17:13-16, Mt.13:30, 2Thes.1:7-8.. 2Pet.3:10 — With 2 Peter 3:10 and 12-13 being bookend fiery events of the Lord’s long second advent!) 7 Moreover, to each is given the manifestation [phanerรณsis - a manifestation, disclosure, a coming to light] of the Spirit/Presence of God for the collective good [sumphero - common profit].

           Mark 15:1-15

1 - And as soon as it was morning, the leaders, the chief priests, the elders, scribes, and the whole Sanhedrin held a council. And then they bound Jesus, led him away to Pilate, the Roman governor. 2 “Are you the king of the Jews?” asked Pilate. (A claim to be a king was punishable by death.) And Jesus answered, “You have said so.” 3 Then the leading priests accused him of many things. 4 And Pilate asked him, “Aren’t you going to answer them? See how many charges they have brought against you!” 5 But Jesus made no response, and Pilate was amazed.

6 It was a custom every year during Passover, that the governor would free one prisoner chosen by the people. 7 Another prisoner at that time was Barabbas who had committed murder in a violent revolt. 8 A crowd went to Pilate and asked him for the release of a prisoner as usual. 9 “Would you like me to release this ‘King of the Jews’?” Pilate asked them. 10 Pilate knew the leaders had brought Jesus to him because they were jealous. 11 But the chief priests stirred up the crowd to have him release Barabbas. 12 And Pilate said, “What then do you want me to do with this man called King of the Jews?” 13 “Crucify him!” they shouted. 14 “Why? What crime has he done?” asked Pilate. But they shouted all the louder, “Crucify him!” 15 Wanting to please the crowd, he had Jesus flogged, and handed him over to be crucified. (He was sentenced at the very hour of the morning sacrifice on that Passover.) [Passover is the feast preparation day - but the days begin at sunset, rather than at midnight. The daily sacrifices and Spring holy days were fulfilled perfectly by Jesus’ brief, first advent. It’s not easy to see however, what with days beginning at sunset, there’s three Sabbaths of the week, so also three preparation days, and both Hebrew and Roman time was used. Plus Passover and the following feast day - 1st Day of Unleavened Bread - were moveable days. And making it totally confusing, they were far and wide called interchangeably. And the entire week also, was referred to as either Passover, or as Unleavened Bread! ..The third “holy day” - Firstfruits - is not moveable, but always follows the regular weekly/saturday Sabbath.]

  ~ 1 Corinthians 11:30-34 ~

30 That is why many of you are weak and ill, and some have even died [koimaรณ - to sleep, fall asleep, die]. 31 But if we would examine ourselves, we would not come under such judgment (would not reap such consequences). 32 But being judged by the Lord, we are disciplined, that we should not be judged with the world. (Keeps us off paths of wrong ways. Some of us get offended at the idea of the Lord disciplining, or at the mention of judgment, but the message has to speak to and address all of us, from mature, to unruly and even to the barbaric and abusive.) 33 So then, my brothers and sisters, when you gather to eat, you should wait for one another. 34 If you are genuinely hungry, you should eat at home. You don’t want to bring judgment upon yourself. (Some were going without because others were eating early and more than their share.) About the other things you asked, I will give instructions when I come.

FROM THE PROPHETS - Isaiah

                  Part 5

The ‘great ones’ sowed, now reap.

Disclaimer - The Prophets May Not Be For The Timid

2:6 Lord, you have abandoned your people.. ..They are full of superstitions from the east, and practice divination ..they embrace pagan customs. 7 The land is full of silver and gold ..there’s no end to their treasures ..no end to their chariots. 8 The land is full of idols.. 9 So people will be brought low ..everyone humbled.. 10 Go into the rocks (Rev.6) hide in the ground from the fearful presence of the Lord and the splendor of his majesty! (Code for fiery capabilities of war, element of revelation’s seal six. Is there anything that truly humbles? Other than ones own consequences? ..Both individual and collective.) 11 The eyes of the arrogant will be humbled and human pride brought low, the Lord alone will be exalted in that day. 12 The Lord Almighty has a day in store for the proud and lofty, and all who are exalted ..every lofty tower and every fortified wall, 16 for every trading ship and every stately vessel. (Trade. $ity and Tower Babble “on seven hills”/continents.) 17 The arrogance of man will be brought low and human pride humbled 18 ..and the idols will totally disappear [chalaph: to pass on or away ..Idols - ๐Ÿ“ž abolished, altered, changed, cut off, gone forward, grown up, be over, pass away.] 19 People will flee to caves in the rocks and to holes in the earth ..when he rises to shake the earth. 20 In that day people will throw away their idols of silver and gold, made to worship. 21  They will flee to caverns in the rocks and to the overhanging cliffs..when he rises to shake the earth. 22 Stop trusting in mere humans, who have but a breath in their nose. Why hold them in esteem?

CROSS REFERENCES - Revelation 6 — 12. I (John) watched as he OPENED the sixth seal. There was a great earthquake. The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the full moon turned blood red, 13 and the stars in the sky fell to earth, like figs from a fig tree, when, shaken (thus blown) by a mighty wind. 14 The heavens receded [apochรณrizรณ - separated, parted, swept aside) like a scroll being rolled. And every mountain and island moved. 15 Then the kings of earth, the great ones, and generals, the rich, and the mighty, and everyone else, both slave and free, hid in caves and among the rocks of mountains. 16 They called to the mountains and to the rocks, “Fall on us! Hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! 17 For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can withstand it?!” (The seals of Revelation are described at their first occurrence, as their FULL effects - first to last, veiling what they are, especially the sixth seal.)

(Back to Isaiah) 3:9 they parade their sin (the ‘great ones’ setting the trends?) 9 .. They have brought disaster upon themselves. 10 Tell the righteous - it will be well with them - for they will enjoy the fruit of their deeds. 11 Woe to the wicked! Disaster is upon them! They will be paid back for what theiR hands have done. 12 Youths oppress my people, women rule over them. My people, your guides lead you astray, they turn you from the path. 4:5 Then the Lord will create over all of Mount Zion, and over those who assemble there, a cloud of smoke by day and a glow of flaming fire by night, over everything the glory will be a canopy.  (Mt. Zion is often a spiritual ‘place’. Whereas Mt. of Olives, the literal Earthly place.) 6 The canopy will be a shelter and shade from the heat of the day, and a refuge and hiding place from the (fiery?) storm and (acid?) rain (Is.24:20). Rev.7:16.

5:8 Woe to you who add house to house and join field to field until you live alone in (and own all) the land. 9 Surely the great houses will become desolate, the fine mansions left empty. 17 Sheep will graze there, as in their own pasture. Lambs will feed among the ruins of the rich. 20 Woe to those who call evil good and good evil ..23 who acquit the guilty for a bribe, but deny justice to the innocent ..30 if one looks at the land, there is only darkness and distress, even the sun will be overshadowed by clouds. (Prophet Joel’s smoky day? Revelation’s sun covered, red moon/moon reflecting red?) (In shorthand? The mighty of Earth will indeed ignite Armageddon battle. Which will turn out to be their, and the world’s, and the wrong way’s judgment/reaping what you sow. Other bible speak, drinking a cup.. Rev.16:13-16, Mt.13:30, Is.24:20.)

             Part 4

1:31 - “The mighty will be as tinder and their works a spark which no person can put out. (Verse 15 - Even if you offer prayers, I will not listen, your hands are full of blood. — Micah 3:6,7 - “The day will go dark for them, they will cover their faces because there is no answer from elohim [the]gods.”)

2:1 This is what Isaiah, son of Amoz has seen concerning Jerusalem and Judah. 2 It shall come to pass, in latter days [acharith - the after-part, end] the mountain of the house of Yahweh will be established in the highest mountains and exalted above the hills, and all nations will flow to it. 3 Many people will come and say, “Come! Let us go up to the mountain of Yahweh to the house of the God of Jacob, and he will teach us his way, and we’ll walk in his paths, for out of Zion will go forth his law [torah - direction, instruction, law, from yara (or Yarah) to throw, shoot (at a target?)] and will go forth the word [dabar - speech, word] of Yahweh from Jerusalem. 4 He will judge between nations, and settle disputes. They will beat their swords into plowshares (the V plows of old) and their spears into gardening tools. 5 Come let us walk in the light of Yahweh.

Part 3

1:21 - How the faithful city has become a prostitute. Her streets used to be full of righteousness and justice, but now murderers lodge in her. (So tell me history doesn’t repeat, thus prophecy. Story of every city.)  [Think of prophecy as prophecy. Not a curse being proclaimed.]  22 The value of your silver/money has fallen away.. 25 But I will turn my hand upon you and purge away your dross. 28 The crashing [sheber - breaking, fracturing, breaching, crushing (or) crashing] of the rebels and sinners [chatta - from chata - to miss, go wrong] will be together. Those who forsake Yahweh shall be consumed. (Cross reference - 2Pet.3:10, 2Thes.1:7-8, a first mention of a lake of fire. ๐Ÿค”Order, crash, fiery event, a seal six event, but what the seal is, is veiled by its description as its entire effects, first to very last.) 30 You will be like an oak tree whose leaves have faded, like a garden with no water.. [In the prophets, usually the order is, the path of destruction pointed out, that the city, the people are on, and what will occur if the way isn’t changed - prophecy, cause and effect, not a curse - followed by verses about restoration, reconciliation and blessing. Rescue! Through a Messiah, and “savior of the world”.] (God’s other option? To avoid such calamity? A robotic ant farm?)

                  Part 2

1:3 The ox knows its owner, and the donkey its master’s manger/trough, but Israel (and humanity) does not know, my people do not understand.” (And any nation, especially its leaders, though separated (“set apart”) to birth the Messiah/Savior would have also rejected him when he showed up humble, homeless, and threatening of their worldly status.) 4 ..They have forsaken ..turned their backs.. and (thus?) sinful they are. 5 ..The whole head is sick and the whole heart is faint. 6 From the sole of your foot to the top of your head there is no soundness/battered from head to foot— only bruises, wounds, and sores, not cleansed, bandaged or soothed with olive oil. 7 Your country lies in ruins, and your towns are burned. Foreigners plunder your fields before your eyes as overthrown by strangers. 8 Beautiful Jerusalem stands abandoned.. 9 Unless the LORD Almighty had left us some survivors.. 11 ..I take no pleasure in your sacrifices.. 12 who asked you to trample my courts? 13 ..wickedness in the sacred meeting.. 14 the new moon feasts, the holy day festivals.. a burden to me.. 15 Your hands are full of blood, I do not hear your prayers though they become many. 16 ..Stop doing wrong.. 17 Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless, plead the case of the widow. 18 “Come now, let’s settle this,” says the LORD. “Though your sins [chet - wrongs, from chata - to miss, go wrong, wrongs] are like scarlet, I will make them as white as snow.. as white as wool. 19 If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the best of the land. 1:20 But if you turn away and refuse to listen, the sword devours. And accordingly has spoken the LORD. _____________________

Isaiah Part 1

1:1 These are the visions that Isaiah son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem during the years of four kings. (Listed in the verse.) 2 The LORD (God) has said, "Listen, oh heaven and earth! The children I raised have turned against me. (Israel is the micro, global is the macro.)

Mark 14:54-72 or Luke 22:55-71

54 Peter followed him (Jesus after his arrest) at a distance, even into the courtyard of the high priest. In the courtyard, he sat with the guards that were around the fire, 55 while the chief priests and the whole court of leaders were looking for evidence against Jesus so they could have him put to death. But there was none. 56 Yet many testified falsely against him, but their statements didn’t agree. 57 But then some stood up and bore false witness against him, saying, 58 “We heard him say, ‘I will destroy the temple and in three days will build another, not made with human hands.’” 59 Yet even then their testimony didn’t agree. 60 Then the high priest stood up and asked Jesus, “Are you not going to answer? All this testimony that these are bringing against you?” 61 But Jesus remained silent and gave no answer. And again the high priest asked him, “Are you the Messiah, the Son of the Blessed One?” 62 “I am,” Jesus said. “And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Almighty One and coming upon the clouds of heaven.”  (All will see it during Great ‘Day’ of Judgment/Discernment/Review.) 63 Then the high priest tore his clothing. “Why do we need any more witnesses!?” he asked. 64 “You have heard the blasphemy. What do you think?” And so they all condemned him as worthy of death. 65 Then some began to spit at him. They blindfolded him, punched him with their fists, and said, “Prophesy to us!” And the guards took him and also beat him.

66 While Peter was in the courtyard, one of the servant girls of the high priest came by. 67 When she saw Peter warming himself, she looked closely at him and said, “You also were with that Nazarene”. 68 But he answered, “I don’t know what you’re talking about,” and he went out to the court porch. 69 When the servant girl again saw him, she said to those standing there, “This fellow is one of them.” 70 And again he denied it. But after a little while, those standing near to him said, “Surely you are one of them, for you are a Galilean.” 71 He began to call down curses, and said, “I tell you, I don’t know the man!” 72 Immediately the rooster crowed a second time. Then Peter remembered what Jesus had said to him, “Before the rooster crows twice you will disown me three times.” And Peter broke down and wept.

     — And from Luke 22:55-71 — 55 - And when some had kindled a fire in the middle of the courtyard and sat down together, Peter sat down with them. 56 A servant girl saw him there in the firelight, and looking closely at him said, “This man was with him.” 57 But he denied it, saying “Woman, I don’t know him.” 58 And a little later someone else saw him and said, “You too are one of them.” But Peter replied, “No I’m not!” 59 About an hour later another claimed, “Certainly this fellow was with him, for we can see he is a Galilean.” 60 Peter replied, “Man, I don’t know what you’re talking about!” And as he was speaking, the rooster crowed, 61 and the Lord turned and looked straight at Peter. Then Peter remembered the word the Lord had spoken to him, saying “Before the rooster crows today, you will disown me three times.” 62 And Peter went outside and wept bitterly.

63 The ones who were guarding Jesus began to mock and beat him. 64 They blindfolded him and demanded of him, “Prophesy!” and “Who is it who hit you?” 65 And they said many other insulting things.

66 At daybreak the council of the leaders and elders, the chief priests and teachers of the law, met together, and Jesus was brought before them. 67 “If you are the Messiah,” they said, “tell us.”

Jesus answered, “If I tell you, you will not believe me, 68 and if I asked you, you would not answer. 69 But from now on, the Son of Man will be seated at the right hand of the one almighty God.” 70 They all asked, “Are you then the Son of God?”

He replied, “You say that I am.”

71 Then they said, “Why do we need any more testimony? For we have heard it from his own lips.”

  ~ 1 Corinthians 11:23-29 ~

23 For I (Paul) received from the Lord what I also passed on to you - that the Lord Jesus on the night when he was betrayed took bread, 24 and when he had given thanks, broke it, and said, “This is my body, which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me.” 25 In the same way, after supper He took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant/testament in my blood, this do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me. 26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim my death until I come.” 27 Whoever, therefore, eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty concerning the body and blood of the Lord! 28 This is why everyone should honestly examine their self before eating the bread and drinking from the cup. 29 For anyone eating and drinking without knowing its meaning, eats and drinks judgment upon their own self.

Mark 14:43-53 and Luke 22:47-54

Mk.14:43 — Just then, Judas, came along. With him was a crowd with torches, armed with swords and clubs. They were sent from the leaders, the chief priests, teachers of the law, and elders. 44 Judas, the betrayer had arranged a signal with them, “The one I kiss is the one you want.” 45 And going at once to Jesus, Judas said, “Rabbi!” and kissed him. 46 So the men seized Jesus and arrested him. 47 Then one of the disciples standing near drew his sword and striking the servant of the high priest, cut off his ear! 48 “Am I leading a revolt?” asked Jesus. “That you have come out with swords and clubs to capture me? 49 Every day I was with you, teaching in the temple courts, and you didn’t arrest me. But the Scriptures will be fulfilled.” 50 Then everyone deserted him and fled.

51 A young man, having come out (following the torched procession?) had thrown about him a linen garment, and they seized him, 52 but he fled naked, leaving his garment behind. 53 And they took Jesus to the high priest, where the leaders all came together.

     — Luke 22:47-54 — 47 While Jesus was still speaking a crowd came up, and the man, Judas, one of the twelve, was leading them, and he approached Jesus as if to kiss him, 48 but Jesus asked him, “Judas, are you betraying the Son of Man with a kiss?” 49 When Jesus’ followers saw what was going to happen, they said, “Lord, should we fight with our swords?” 50 And one of them struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his right ear. 51 But Jesus answered, “We want none of this.” And he touched the man’s ear and healed it. 52 Then Jesus said to the chief priests, the officers of the temple guard, and the elders, who had come for him, “Am I leading a rebellion, so you have come with swords and clubs? 53 Every day I was with you in the temple courts, and you didn’t lay a hand on me. But this is your hour—when darkness is reigning.” 54 Then they seized him, and led him away, taking him to the house of the high priest. And Peter followed at a distance.

17 But now in the following, I have no praise for you. For your meetings do more harm than good! 18 I am told you argue with one another when you worship, and I’m inclined to believe that most of what I’ve heard is true! 19 You are competing for recognition as to who is the better and more approved! 20 So when you come together, it is not the Lord’s supper you are eating. 21 For everyone is looking to their own, so that some go without, while someone else is drunk! 22 Do you not have your own homes in which to eat and drink?

1 - One of the seven angels which had the bowls, came and spoke with me (John) saying, “Come, I will show you the judgment of the great prostitute/unfaithful [greek pornes] sitting upon many waters. (Key to vs-9.) 2 The kings of earth are in bed with her. And the inhabitants of earth are drunk upon the wine of her indecency.” 3 And he carried me off in the Spirit to a solitary place, where I saw a woman sitting on a red beast that was full of the names of blasphemy. It had seven heads and ten horns (Dn.7:7,19; 2:39,40). 4 And the woman was clothed in purple and scarlet, and was adorned with gold, precious stones and pearls. She held in her hand a golden cup full of abominations [the greek word includes odorous] and impurities [akathartos - unclean, impure, a - cathartos, contaminations] of her sexual immoralities [porneias]. [Ps.45:8 - “A cup of foaming wine, in the hand of Yahweh (Yhvh) is mixed with spices, and he pours it and the wicked of earth will drink it down to the dregs of it.” God made a cause and effect reality. The foam is the - side effects,  and consequences of ‘her’ murders, perversions, the selling of the bodies and lives of man (anthropos/people).] 5 And on her forehead was a mysterious name written “Babylon the Great [megas] the Mother of the Prostitutions and Abominations of the Earth”  (‘mystery babble’/all confusion?) 6 (Six is thought to be the # of man/anthropos) - And I saw the woman ($ity Babble?) was drunk with the blood of the set apart ones and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. And I marveled with great wonder. 7 And the angel said to me, “Why do you marvel? I will tell you the mystery of the woman, and of the beast carrying her, having the seven heads and ten horns (Dn.7:7,19; 2:39,40 and history repeats?) 8 The beast you saw (Roman Empire) then was not, but then is again (Holy Roman Empire) is about to come up out of the abyss (of potential of the straying way/imperfection) and into destruction, and all those dwelling on the earth whose names are not (yet) written in the Book of Life that is from the foundation of the world [kosmos] when they see the beast that was (a modern version, the adversary being a - changing - angel of light) and then wasn’t. Then was again. (Especially when it is given breath by the horn/seat/office pinpointed by the 13:13 event? It was, wasn’t, then after 13:13, was again.) 9 Here is the understanding of wisdom - the seven heads are seven mountains (continents? i.e. global?) the woman sits upon. 10 And there are seven kings, five are fallen, one is and one is not yet come. And when he does come, it will be for a little while.

      “Why Are You Sleeping?”

Paraphrased w/ some CU comments.

   Mark 14:26-42 or Luke 22:39-46

Neither Mark nor Luke were there, so they are writing someone else’s account - Mark for Peter? - or they interviewed ones who were there.

Mk.14:26 - When they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives. 27 “You will all fall away,” Jesus told them, “for it’s written, ‘I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered.’ 28 But after I have risen, I will go ahead of you into Galilee.” 29 Then Peter declared, “Even if all fall away, I will not!” 30 “Truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “today, yes, tonight, before the rooster crows twice you will disown me three times.” 31 But Peter insisted, “Even if I have to die with you, I will never disown you.” And all the others said the same. 32 They went to a place called Gethsemane, and Jesus said to his disciples, “Sit here while I pray.” 33 He took Peter, James and John with him, and he began to be deeply troubled. 34 “My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death,” he said to them. “Stay here and keep watch.” 35 Going farther, he fell to his knees and prayed if possible the hour might not come to pass. 36 “Abba, Father,” he said, “everything is possible for you. Take this cup from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.” 37 Then he returned to his disciples and finding them asleep said, “Simon, are you sleeping? Couldn’t you keep watch for one hour? 38 Watch and pray that you not fall into temptation, for the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.” 39 And again he went away and prayed the same. 40 When he came back, he found them again sleeping, because their eyes were heavy. And they didn’t know what to say to him. 41 Then returning the third time, he said, “Are you still sleeping and resting? The hour has come. Look, the Son of Man is delivered into the hands of sinners. 42 Rise, let us go, my betrayer has come.”

     — Luke 22:39 — Jesus went out with his (eleven, Jn.18:2) disciples, as he had been doing each evening, to the Mount of Olives. 40 And he said to them, “Pray that you will not fall into temptation.” 41 He went about a stone’s throw away and knelt down in prayer, saying 42 “Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me. yet not my will, but yours be done.” 43 An angel from heaven appeared and strengthened him. 44 Praying earnestly and in so much anguish, his sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground. (Luke was a Greek doctor, this is a true, but rare, medical condition.) 45 When he rose up from prayer, he went back to the disciples and found them sleeping, exhausted from grief. 46 “Why are you sleeping?” he asked them. “Pray, so you will not fall into temptation.”

11 However! In the Lord, neither is woman separate from man, nor man separate from woman. 12 For as woman was made from man, so now, man is born of woman! And all things (being equal? all) are from God. 13 Judge for yourselves, is it proper (custom in that day) for a woman to pray to God without her head covered? 14 Isn't it unnatural and disgraceful for men to have long hair? (๐Ÿค”Naturally, hair grows. Also what about Samson? So again, custom.) 15 But on a woman it is a thing of beauty, and her hair is given to her to serve as a covering. 16 But if anyone wants to argue about this, all I have to say is that neither we nor the churches of God have any other custom in worship. (๐Ÿ—️ Paul is answering another question they had asked in a letter, key conclusion, they shouldn’t be in division and dispute about these things. ๐Ÿค”Is this a reason why, for so long, so many ladies wore so many strange hats?? When I was a child, the hats had come down to earth a little! Now, if we find ourselves disagreeing with Paul on these issues, it doesn’t mean we should throw our bibles away! We can clearly tell God gave to Paul great insights and revelations about God’s message and program/administration, that are a gift to us all.)

(Review - When her ‘owners’ realized their hope of making money from her demon inspired prognostication, was gone, they seized Paul and Silas to face the authorities.)

20 “Because of these Jews, the whole city is in an uproar!” they shouted to the city officials. 21 “They are teaching new customs that are illegal for us Romans!” 22 A mob quickly formed against Paul and Silas. The city officials ordered them stripped and beaten with rods. 23 They were beaten severely, thrown into prison, and the jailer was ordered to make sure they did not escape. 24 So he put them deep inside the jail, and fastened their feet in the stocks. 25 But around midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them. 26 Suddenly there was a violent earthquake, the foundations of the prison were shaken, all the prison doors flew open, and everyone’s chains fell loose. 27 When the jailer woke and saw the prison doors were open, he drew his sword to kill himself, thinking the prisoners had escaped. (Under Rome, punishable by death.) 28 But Paul shouted in a loud voice, “Don’t harm yourself! We are all still here!” 29 Calling for lights, the jailer rushed in and trembling, fell before Paul and Silas. 30 Then he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” 31 And they answered, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved. You and your household.” 32 And they spoke the word of the Lord to him, and to everyone in his house. 33 And even at that hour, the jailer took them and washed their wounds. Then he and everyone in his household were baptized. 34 Then he brought them into his house, and fed them a meal. And everyone in the house was rejoicing because they had come to believe in God. 35 When it was day, the magistrates sent word to release them. 36 So the jailer told Paul, “The city officials have said you and Silas are free to go. Leave in peace.” 37  But Paul said to the officers who were sent, “They beat us publicly without a trial, and threw us into prison, even though we are Roman citizens! (ThAt was a no no.) And now they want to send us away secretly? Surely not! Let them come themselves and accompany us out!” 38 So the officers told this message to the magistrates, and they were alarmed to hear that Paul and Silas were Roman citizens. 39 So they came and apologized, and led them out, asking that they leave the city. 40 After they left the prison, they went to Lydia’s house to see the believers and to encourage them. And then they left the city.

I’ve guarded them, and not one was lost except the son of destruction (lost from following, not as in ‘eternally damned’ as Jesus “will draw all” Jn.12:32, God being “savior of all” 1Tim.4:10; and this so) that the Scripture would be fulfilled. 13 Now I am coming to you, and these things I’ve spoken in the world so they may have my fullness of joy completed in them. 14 I’ve given them your word, and the world has hated them [miseo - ranging from esteem less to detest] because, they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 15 I don’t ask that you take them out of the world, but that you would keep them from evil. 16 They are not of the world, as I am not of the world. 17 Sanctify (purify and bless) them by the truth, your word [logos - reasoning expressed in words] is Truth. 18 As you sent me into the world, so have I sent them.19 It’s for them that I sanctify myself, that they also may be sanctified in the Truth. 20 But not for these only do I pray, but for all those who will believe because of their words. 21 That all might be one as you Father are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, that the world will believe that you have sent me. 22 And the glory you give me, I have also given to them, so that they  will be one as we are. 23 I in them and you in me, that they may be perfected in unity, so the world will know you sent me and love them even as you love me. 24 Father, those that you have given me, I pray they may be with me, where I am, to see the glory you gave me because you loved me before the foundation of the world. 25 Righteous Father, though the world doesn’t know you, I know you, and they know that you sent me. 26 I have made known to them your name [onoma - name, authority, cause] and will make it known, so that the love with which you love me will be in them, and I in them.” 18:1 When he had finished praying, Jesus crossed the Kidron Valley with his disciples where there was a garden, which he and his disciples entered. 2 But Judas, the betrayer, knew the place, as Jesus had often gone there with his disciples.

1 - Imitate me, as I imitate Christ. 2 I’m very glad you always keep me in your thoughts, and that you’re following the teachings which I passed on to you. 3 Christ is the head of every man, and the man now is the head of woman, and God is the head of Christ. 4 So a man who prays or proclaims God's message in public worship with his head covered disgraces Christ. (Cultural matters.) 5 But a woman who prays or prophesies without something on her head brings shame to her head, and may as well shave her head. 6 A woman should wear something on her head. It is unacceptable for a woman to shave her head or cut her hair. In the same way she should wear something on her head. 7 A man shouldn’t wear anything on his head when he is  worshiping, for man is made in God’s image and reflects God’s glory. And woman reflects man’s glory. 8 For man was not made from woman, but the woman from man. 9 Neither was man created through woman, but woman through man. 10 A wife should have a token of her stature and also modesty upon her head, because of angelic propriety. (Considered public propriety at the time?)

1 - After saying these things, he looked up toward heaven and prayed, Father, the time has come for you to bring glory to your Son, in order that he may bring glory to you. 2 For you have given him authority over everyone. And he gives everlasting life to everyone you have given him. 3 And this is eternal life - to know you, the one true God, and to know Jesus Christ, whom you sent forth. 4 I have glorified you upon Earth, by completing the work you gave me to do. 5 And now Father, bring me into your presence and the glory I had in you before the world began. 6 I have revealed you to those you gave me out of the world. They were yours and you gave them to me. And they have kept your word [logos - reasoning, expressed in words (and expressed in the Son) (the) message]. 7 Now they know that everything you have given to me, comes from you. 8 For I have given them the words that you gave me, and they have received those words, and they know that I truly came from you. And they have believed that you sent me. 9 I pray for them, not for the world, but for those you gave me, for they are yours. 10 All that is yours is mine, and all that is yours is mine. And I am glorified in them. 11 And now I will no longer be in the world, for I am coming to you, but they are in the world. Holy Father, keep them in your name, which you have given to me, that they may be one, even as we are one.

25 Eat whatever is sold in the meat market without raising any question of conscience. (Since meat sold previously sacrificed to an idol, was actually sacrificed to nothing.) 26 Because, “the earth belongs to the Lord, and everything that’s in it.” 27 If an unbeliever invites you to a meal and you want to go, you can eat whatever is put before you without worrying about questions of conscience. 28 But if someone says to you, “This has been offered in sacrifice,” then don’t eat it, for the sake of conscience. 29 I don’t mean your conscience, but his. For why would my liberty be determined by someone else’s conscience? 30 For if I eat and give thanks, why should I be condemned for eating it? 31 But whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. 32 Try not to cause any problems, for Jews, Greeks or for the church of God. 33 I try to please everyone in all I do. Not for my benefit, but for the benefit of many, that they may be saved/(believe).

War In Heaven

War! There was war in heaven, the dragon and his angels (one third stars fallen) fought against archangel Michael a captain of angels. The dragon was hurled out of the heavens, from then on denied access there. In great anger the dragon fell upon the earth and he inquisitioned the faith..  time passes.. released a flood.. has ravaged the land (has ravaged the faith) and begins to turn his attention more fully upon the rest of the faith’s children, who increasingly (and by then) have the testimony of Jesus and the commandments of God (Mt.23:39).

From Revelation Chapter Twelve, an insert.

Meanwhile.. A call goes out.. many sons and daughters, too many to count - Rev.7:9 and 4, while verses 1 and 3 still hold.. “Wait! Hold back the winds! Until we seal the foreheads of the servants of our God! A hundred and forty four thousand of Israel and a crowd too many to number from every tribe and nation and tongue..

24 Now there rose up among them (the disciples) as to which of them was the greatest. 25 And Jesus said, “The kings of the nations rule over the people. 26 You however, shouldn’t think like that. Instead the ‘greater’ should be as ‘lesser’. [Neos - young, new, fresh] (a newbie!) And the one leading, as though they serve. 27 For who is greater? The one sitting at table, or the one serving? Is it not the one at table? But I have been among you as one who serves. 28 You are the ones who remained with me during my troubles [peirasmos - an experiment, a trial, temptation, affliction, from peirazรณ - try, make proof of]. 29 As the Father has appointed me to reign, so I appoint you to reign” [diatรญthemai - from diรก - through, thoroughly, which intensifies tรญthฤ“mi - to place, arrange — thoroughly (carefully) arrange which effectively accomplishes the objective at hand]. (Ultimately, all shall “be like Jesus” 1Jn.3:2.) 30 You will eat and drink with me in my kingdom. And each one of you will sit on a throne to judge concerning the twelve tribes of Israel. 31 Simon, Simon, the adversary has demanded to have all of you to sift like wheat. (The chaff from the kernal.) 32 I have earnestly prayed for you, that your faith doesn’t fail. And when you have turned back [epi-strephรณ - to turn, to return, come to your senses] strengthen your brothers. 33 And Peter (Simon Peter) replied, “Lord, I am ready to follow you to prison or to death”! 34 But Jesus said, “I tell you Peter, the rooster won’t crow this day before you deny knowing me three times.”

35 “When I sent you out without bag and purse, or sandals, did you lack anything?” “No nothing” they said. 36 “But now” Jesus said, “if you have a bag or purse take it, and if not, sell your cloak, and buy a sword. 37 I say [lego] to you, that which has been written, must occur. And it will be accomplished in me - as it’s written ‘he was numbered with the lawless, reckoned to be a criminal’. But the things concerning me have an intended end” [telos - “end-aim”]. 38 And they said, “Lord, here are two swords”. “It is enough” he said. (Spoiler alert: later Peter cuts off someone’s ear, and Jesus heals it. About the swords, and maybe another thing he said, makes me think he (naturally, and of course) was upset.. knowing he was imminently in for a very rough time of it.)

14 Therefor beloved ones, flee from idolatry. 15 You are sensible people. Judge for yourselves if what I am saying is true. 16 When we bless the cup of thanksgiving, are we not sharing the life blood of Jesus? And when we break bread in his name, are we not sharing in his body/sacrifice? 17 We are like one loaf of bread, though many, we are one, and we all partake of that same bread. [Jn.6:35 - And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me will not hunger..”] 18 Consider the people of Israel. Do not those who eat the sacrifices share in what is offered on the altar? 19 What do I mean then? That food offered to idols is anything, or that an idol is actually anything? 20 No, not at all. I am saying that these sacrifices are offered to demons, not to God. And I don’t want you to participate in that. 21 You simply cannot drink from the cup of the Lord and also from the cup of demons. You can’t eat at the Lord’s table and at the table of demons as well. 22 Shall we arouse the Lord to jealousy? Are we stronger than he? 23 Something may be lawful but is it beneficial? 24 Let us not seek our own good, but the good of others. (For example, if we believe it is permissible to drink wine, but we are with our brother or sister who doesn’t believe so, we should consider them in the matter, and not our self.)

17 The disciples were asking one another what he (Jesus) meant when he said soon they wouldn’t see him, and then they would see him because he was going to the Father. 18 And what he meant by ‘a little while’. 19 Jesus knew they wanted to ask him, so he said, “Are you wondering among yourselves what I meant when I said you won’t see me, then you will? 20 Truly, you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice. You will grieve, but your grief will turn to joy. 21 A woman who is about to give birth (to new life) is in pain in that hour. But when the child enters the world, she doesn’t remember her tribulation, but rejoices that a new person has been born. 22 And so shall you grieve, but I will see you again, your hearts will rejoice and you will have joy that no one can take from you. 23 And in that ‘day’ you will not ask me, but you will ask the Father and he will give do it for you in my name (and cause). 24 Up until now you have not asked for anything in my name, ask, and you shall receive, so that your joy may be full. 25 I have spoken these things to you in parable and allegory, but the hour is coming when I will no longer speak to you in parables, but I will speak plainly to you about the Father. 26 In that day, you will ask in my name. And it’s not that I shall ask the Father for you, 27 For the Father himself loves you, because you have loved me, and have believed that I came from the Father. 28 I came forth from the Father, and have come into the world. Again I leave the world and go to the Father.”

29 “Now you are speaking to us plainly” the disciples said, “and not only in parable. 30 Now (then) we know that you understand all things, and have answered our questions. We know that you came from the Father.” 31 “Now do you believe?” Jesus said. 32 “The hour is coming and is now, when you shall scatter, each to their own, leaving me alone, but I won’t be alone, for the Father is with me. 33 I have spoken these things so that in me you will have joy. In the world is tribulation, but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.

7 Don’t worship idols as some of them did. As the Scriptures say, “The people celebrated with feasting and drinking, and rose up to play.” 8 Avoid all such immoral sexual indulgence, like theirs, when 23,000 fell in a day. 9 Nor should we put Christ to the test, as some of them did, and had no protection from snakebites, and died. 10 Nor grumble, as some of them did and were destroyed by the Destroyer. 11 These things now serve as an example, and were written down as warnings for us, on whom the culmination of the age has come. (That age of paganism rule ending, to Christianity changing (a third of?) the world; and this age of Western Civilization, once called Christendom, ending, paganism returning, fully ripening to dissolution, aka, the culmination of all history.) 12 Anyone who thinks they are standing firm should take heed, lest they fall. (Paganism is a very strong spirit, and spirits.) 13 The temptations of life are the same as all of mankind experience. God is faithful and will not allow the temptation to be more than you can bear. When we are tempted, he provides a way out so that we can endure.

In fact, a time is coming when anyone who kills you will think he is offering a service to God! 3 These things they will do because they don’t know me, nor the Father. 4 And these things I have told you so that when the hour comes, you will remember I said them. I didn’t tell you at the beginning, because I was with you. 5 Now however, I am going back to the one who sent me, yet none of you asks where I’m going. 6 But now sorrow has filled your hearts. Yet I tell you the truth, it’s profitable for you that I go away, because if I don’t go, the helper will not be sent to you. But if I go I will send the helper (aid?) to you. 7 And having come, he (God’s very Spirit/Presence) will convince the world concerning sin [hamartia - missing the mark] and concerning righteousness and judgment. 8 Concerning missing the mark, because they do not believe in me. 9 Concerning righteousness, because I go to the Father and will no longer be seen. 10 And concerning judgment because the ruler of this world has been judged. 11 I have many things however, to say to you, which you are not yet able to bear. 12 When however shall come He, the Spirit (and Presence) of Truth, he will guide you into all truth, for he will not speak against himself, but how much you listen, shall he speak of things coming. 13 He will glorify/reveal me, for he shall take that which is mine and explain it to you. 14 All things which are of the Father are mine. That’s why I said he shall reveal to you the things concerning me. 15 In a little while you will not see me. Then after a little while, you will see me, because I am going away to the Father. 16 And the disciples asked each other what he meant, that they would no longer see him and then they would see him again.

(In all varying degrees?) 20 Remember what I said? ‘A slave is not greater than the master.’ Since they persecuted me, they will persecute you. But now what excuse (to theirselves?) do they have? (For now it is apparent.) 23 Whoever hates me, hates the Father as well. 24 If I had not done among them the works no one else did, they would not be guilty. But they have seen it, and still they hate my father and I. 25 But, this is to fulfill the scripture, “they hated me without reason” (for no reason, no good reason. Anger for no reason, being hate, and is “committing murder in the heart” Mt.5:21,22). 26 When the helper/aid/advocate comes, which I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of Truth which from the Father goes forth - (God’s Spirit/Presence with us?) - he will speak and bear witness about me. 27 But you also will bear witness, for you have been with me since the beginning.

24 We know that many runners enter a race, and only one wins the prize. So run to win! (Spiritual/born again self against carnal self.) 25 Anyone in the (Greek) games goes into strict training. They do it for a crown that fades away with time, but our training is for a crown (of life) that will never fade! 26 So I don’t run as though I have no goal. I’m not training for a fight by merely beating the air! 27 No. I discipline myself, with the determination an athlete does, lest even after preaching to others, I myself should be disqualified.

17 When the seventh angel poured his bowl out upon the air, I (John) heard a loud voice from inside the (heavenly) temple, from God’s Throne, saying “It’s done!” 18 And there was lightning flashes, sounds, thunders, and an earthquaking greater than there has ever been since man has been upon Earth. So great and large was the earthquake 19 the ‘great’ city ($ity that spread to 7 continents) split into three parts, and all the cities of Earth fell. Yet Babylon had not yet drank all of the cup of God’s wrath. (A cup, Babylon holds in its hands, the cup of dissolution, cup of cause and effect, called God’s cup of wrath and fury, because it is He who created a cause and effect universe. And it is he who is letting it all run its course - ‘parable’ of the decomposing ‘apple’ and its worm that does not, can not quit? So he takes responsibility, saying “I, the LORD created light and dark, good and evil” [calamity](when he endowed thinking ability) ..”And I have put/subjected all to disobedience, that I may have mercy upon all”.. That none may boast? Saying “I will. I will ascend!” God’s will is the perfect, 100% Genius Will, there can be no other will that is not in union with that, because God is Life, surely?! And he “is perfect” Mt.5:48 — So what happens when one strays, from Him, becoming imperfect? Opposite of Life, and on the way to it is the inner outside of the light darkness, the shaft to an abyss of potential.. An abyss already proven by history. But it sounds like it’s not over yet.

Isaiah 24:20 - “The earth reels to and fro like a drunkard and sways and totters like a shack. Earth’s rebellion weighs it down, and it falls..” 2 Pet.3:10 - “But will come the day of the LORD, like a thief, in which the heavens with a roar [rhoizรฉdon - with a rushing sound] the elements burning with heat are dissolved and earth’s works are no longer found” ..“everything upon earth revealed and laid bare” Lk.12:2.)

20 And every Island fled away and the mountains could not be found. 21 And a great hail fell upon man (huge hail occurs, the faster and higher moisture rises, the larger and greater the hail). And they blasphemed God because the  plague of hail was so extreme.

           John 15:1-17

[“I am the Vine, You are the Branches”]

1 - Jesus said to them, “I am the true [alรฉthinos - true, real, genuine] vine. And my father is the keeper of the vineyard. [Geรณrgos - worker of the soil, husbandman, farmer, farm-laborer, vine-dresser, from gรฉ - the earth, land, and รฉrgon - work, deed, action that carries out/completes an inner intention and purpose.] 2 Every branch not bearing fruit, he removes” (from the vine) “and every branch bearing fruit, he prunes [*kathairรณ - removing undesirable elements]. In order to bring forth more fruit. 3 Even now, are you being pruned ..by the word(s) [logos - “reasoning expressed in words” message, words] I speak to you. 4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As a branch can’t bear fruit unless it remains on the vine, so neither can you, unless you abide in me. 5 I am the vine and you are the branches. If you abide in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit.  But apart from me you can do nothing” (for the kingdom). 6 “But a branch that does not remain on the vine - connected to the vine - will dry up, and will then be gathered and cast into fire.” (A bonfire! When cleaning the garden, we don’t gather sticks [or weeds/tares] to throw into an eternal, never-ending fiery pit at the center of the earth. That was from ancient ‘authorities’/powers that were?) 7 “If you abide in me and my words abide in you, whatever you ask for in prayer shall be done for you. 8 By this my father is glorified, that you bear much fruit, and then are you my disciple. 9 As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love. 10 If you keep my commands/instructions, you will abide/remain in my Love, as I have kept the Father’s commands and remain in his love. [Instructions - entolรฉ - an injunction, order, command, from en - in which intensifies tรฉlos - (which means) reach the end and consummation (the end-aim) – properly, in the end, focusing on the end-result (objective) of a command.] 11 I have told you these things, so that my joy may be in you, and that your joy will be full. 12 And this is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. 13 There is no greater love than to lay down your life for your friends. 14 You are my friends if you follow my instructions. 15 I do not call you servants, for a servant doesn’t know what the mister is doing, but I call you friends, for everything I hear and have heard from the Father, I have made known to you. 16 You did not choose me, I chose you. And I have appointed you to go forth and bear enduring fruit, that the Father may give to you what you ask him for in my name. (For his works.) 17 This, I command you, that you love one another.

17 If I (Paul) do this work willingly, I have a reward [misthos - wages, hire] but even if unwillingly, I am still entrusted with a responsibility. 18 So what is my reward? It is to spread the Good News free of charge! Without claiming my rights in my work for the gospel. 19 But, even though I am free from all (in obligation) I have made myself a servant to all. This is so I might win/convince all the more people. 20 To the Jews (Hebrews, Jew is an uncomplimentary slang) I became like a Hebrew, so as to win the Hebrews. To those under the law I became like one who is under the law, though I myself am not obligated to “the law” of Moses, though he, like Jesus, was Hebrew/Jewish), so as to win those who are under the law. 21 And when I am with the Gentiles who do not follow the Hebraic/Jewish law, I too live apart from that law so I can bring them to Christ. Though I am not free from God’s law, but am under Christ’s law. 22 To the weak I become as weak (focus on my weaknesses) to win the weak. I become all things (try to find common ground with all) that I may by all means save some. 23 I do it all for the gospel, that I may be in partnership with it. (On the one true-est Path.)
