ENTER THE STORY - A NEW TESTAMENT READING SCHEDULE

Note: It was a highly accelerated biG banG into the universe that is,  like a clock not running, and then,  it was set in motion. “The lion will eat straw
like the ox..
the bear will graze
with the cow” Isaiah 11:7.
(But first Isaiah 24:20, Rev.10:4.)
{Ps.91,46,23, Rev.7:15-17}

~ * ~ ~*~ ~ * ~ ~*~ ~ * ~ ~*~

List of Some Translator Errors, due to partial disbelief? ~~ Not including God’s riddles/hiding things in plain sight. ~~ Changed “all” whenever possible, to “all things” Rev.21:5, Eph.1:10, Jn.13:3, 1Cor.15:27, five times! And so repeating what 5 times? ..And more. But not 2Tim.3:16 or 1Cor.15:28, for example. ~~ Often rendered not into never and aion/eon into forever. ~~ Translating hamartia - missing the mark, into “sin” (trespass) misses the mark a little. (God is Life, and “is perfect” Mt.5:48, a conundrum for imperfect/missing the mark. But no option to stray in Eden, and creation would have to be an ant farm.) ~~ Of course five separate words turned into ‘hell’, even pit when “dust of” is in the verse & Ps.30:9. The three mentions of lake of fire are at very large, fiery events. Not very understandable in 95 CE or thereabouts, Is.24:20, Rev.10:4 (Ps.91,46,23, Rev7:15-17)

08/22 ~ From New Testament Letters

   (In the Order Believed Written)

12 - No person has seen God. If we love one another, God is in us and remains in us. And his love is made perfect [teleióō – to consummate, reach the end-stage, i.e. working through the entire process to reach the final phase and conclusion, from tel/telos - to reach the end-aim] within us. 13 And it’s by this that we know we abide in him, and he in us, because he has given us of His Spirit/Presence {which “is Love” opposite of passing judgment, division}. 14 And we have seen - and testify - that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. 15 Whoever confesses [homologeó - speaks the same, agrees] (knows) Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in them, and they in God. 16 And so we have come to know, and believe in, the love God has for us. God iS love. And whoever abides in love (genuine affection) abides in God. And God abides in them.

27 - Jesus traveled on with his disciples, walking to the villages of Caesarea Philippi. And while they were walking he asked his disciples, “Who do people say I am?” 28 And they answered, “Some say John the Baptist. Others say, Elijah. Or one of the prophets.”

     29 And he asked them, “Who do you say I am?” Peter answered saying, “You are the Christ!” 30 And he told them by no means to tell any one about him. {His execution would come all the sooner..?}

     31 He began to teach them how the Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the leaders, the chief priests and scribes, and he would be killed, and after three days he would rise. 32 And he said it plainly. So Peter took him aside and said, “Don’t talk like that!” 33 But turning and seeing his disciples listening, he said to Peter, “Get behind me, adversary! For you are not seeing as God sees, but your thinking is according to how man sees.”

1John 4 7-11

 a paraphrased ‘enter the story’

 🍃🕊️  reading & study  🕊️🍃

08/21 ~ From New Testament Letters

   (In the Order Believed Written)

(Disciple John writes) 7 - My dear friends, we should love one another, for love is from God, and the one who loves has been born of God and knows Him. 8 To not love is to not know God, for God is Love. 9 He has revealed his love for us by sending his one and only Son into the world that we might live in and through him. [Dia - thoroughly, from one side all the way to the other.]

     10 Real love isn't our love for God, it’s his love for us. God sent his Son to be the sacrifice by which our sins are forgiven. [Sacrifice - hilasmós – properly, propitiation; an offering to appease (satisfy) an angry, offended party (biblehub dot com) — yes we’ve offended God but “HE has subjected all to disobedience” Ro.11:32, and thus to this imperfection/entropy, a slow gehenna crucible that “doesn’t quit” so “God is savior..” 1Tim.4:10. Biblehub - Hilasmós is only used twice (in 1Jn.2:2 and 4:10) – both times of Christ's atoning sacrifice that appeases God's wrath.]

     {Aka, in my humble opinion, ‘wrath’ being cause and effect, including of imperfect being the opposite of Life. Because God iS life and “is perfect” Mt.5:48, an iron measure.} [Biblehub - By the sacrifice of Himself, Jesus Christ provided the ultimate hilasmós - expiation.] {And I think what really needed to be appeased is the human conscience and oh so delicate and unforgiving psyche.. The other offended party.. THE provided propitiation/sacrifice/ransom being strong enough to appease eveRy guilty conscience. And is a contract/testament sealed in blood. And strong enough to reach all ..and don’t forget what a very sad commentary history is.}

     11 Dear friends, since God loved us this much - we, surely, must love each other. {The sacrifice was the closest thing to getting ‘up off the throne’ himself? As wouldn’t then all creation fall apart? ..Logically, he had it all worked out before doing any act of creation. Even Jesus was tested/improved/perfected by his obedience when he came via the flesh and struggled and prayed - “not my will, but Your’s”. And so is “forever preeminent” via God’s design. And why should we worry, he has it all designed.}

     25 So again, Jesus placed his hands on the man's eyes. And this time, as he looked intently, his eyes became healed, and he saw everything clearly. 26 Jesus told him, “Go home, but not by way of the village.” {Trying to hold off the crowds for a bit?}

Disciple John wrote — 4 - Little children, you are from God and have overcome them (the anti-Christs/Christ deniers) {in your heart} for he (God) who is in you is greater than he (Satan) who is in the world {“the ‘god’ of this world” system and empires}. 5 They are {still} from the world, so they speak from the world {view and sentiment, including the sheep’s clothing worn for political self interest} and - the world - listens to them. {And is enchanted.} 6 We are from God. Whoever knows God hears us. Whoever is not from God does not hear us. And by this we can know the Spirit of truth, from the spirit of error. {Or truth from half truth.    08/20 - GospeL Verses

11 - The Pharisees came around and began to argue with Jesus. They asked him for a sign, as a test, from heaven. 12 Jesus sighed deeply in his spirit, and said to them, “Why do you seek a sign? Truly, I tell you, no sign will be given to you.” {Except all the healings and miracles, lol.} 13 And he left, got into the boat and went back to the other side of the lake.

     14 Now the disciples had forgotten to bring any bread, and had only one loaf with them in the boat. 15 And as they were rowing away Jesus said, “Watch out. Beware the leaven of the Pharisees {hypocrisy, etc.} and the leaven of Herod {politics? Herod was hebrew and for Rome}.” 16 And so the disciples began to discuss with one another the fact they had no bread. 17 But Jesus, aware of it, said, “Why are you discussing among yourselves the fact we have no bread? Don’t you understand? Are your hearts still so hard? 18 Having eyes to see and ears to hear, don’t you remember 19 when I broke the five loaves for the five thousand? How many baskets did you collect afterwards?” They said, “Twelve.” 20 “And the seven loaves for the four thousand, how many baskets were left?” And they said, “Seven.”

     21 And he said, “Do you not yet see?”

08/19 ~ From New Testament Letters

   (In the Order Believed Written)

1 - Beloved, don’t believe every spirit (every wind of doctrine) but test the spirits to see if they are from God, for many false prophets [pseudo-prophétés - one who in God's name teaches what is not true] have gone out into the world. 2 By this you know the Spirit of God - every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ comes [erchomai - to come or go; which translators have translated here as “having come”] in the flesh is from God. 3 And every spirit (teaching) that does not confess Jesus {as having literally come “in the flesh”} is not from God. This is the spirit of antichrist which you heard was coming [erchomai - to come or go] and already is in the world. {I don’t know the greek tenses.. But, if the difference then - his coming understood as literal or not literal was a dividing line, why not the same with his second coming - parousia - presence, coming, arrival, advent? Not that all, today, who listen to the ‘his coming/return is physically unseen’ are antiChrist and are unbelievers at heart, but the teaching may turn out to be?}

1 - And then again, on another day, when a great crowd had gathered, and they had nothing to eat, he called his disciples over and said, 2 “I have compassion on the crowd, because they’ve been with me now three days and have nothing to eat! 3 If we send them away to their homes, hungry, they may faint on the way. And some have come pretty far.”

     4 His disciples said, “How can we feed these people bread here in this desolate place?”

     5 But he asked them, “How many loaves do you have?” They said, “Seven.” 6 And he directed the people to sit down, and giving thanks, he broke the loaves and gave them to his disciples to pass out to the people. 7 They also had a few small fish, so he blessed them, and handed them out as well. 8 Everyone ate and was satisfied, and afterwards they gathered up the broken pieces left over and there were seven full baskets. 9 There was about four thousand people. After that he sent them away, 10 and got into the boat with his disciples and went to the district of Dalmanutha.

Revelation 7 1-17

 BooK of Revelation

                a paraphrased study

{The seals were described (at the beginning of the vision) as their entire effects, first to very last.. Summary upon earth, the gospel came forth openly victorious over powers and principalities (healings, resurrection). The response was war, which fruits follow and war was given a great sword [megas - great, exceeding, large, mighty] sword/weapon.

     Because the revelation vision is told 3 times, 13:13, carried out by an office, was also the first seal 6 event which was as a mighty (megas) wind.}

     1 - After this I [John] saw four angels standing at the four corners [N,S,E,W] of the earth. And they were holding back the four winds. That they would not blow on [epi] the earth or the sea or against [epi] any tree. 2 Then, I saw another angel having come up from the east. He had the seal of the living God, and he called with a loud voice to the four angels who had been given power to harm the earth and sea, 3 saying, “Don’t harm earth or sea or trees until we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads!” (Mind, thoughts, psyche, clarity.) 4 And I heard the count and number of those to seal, 144,000 from every tribe of the sons of Israel, 5 - 8 — 12,000 from each tribe - of Judah, Reuben, Gad, Asher, Naphtali, Manasseh, Simeon, Levi, Issachar, Zebulun, Joseph, and Benjamin. 9 And after this I looked and behold! A great crowd which no one was able to number from every nation, and all tribes, and peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb and they were clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands. {First group mentioned is also part of second group mentioned.} 10 And they cried out as one! In a loud voice, “Salvation/safety/well-being belongs to our God who sits on the throne! And to the Lamb!” 11 And all the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living beings and they fell before the throne and worshiped. 12 saying, “Amen! Blessing and glory! Wisdom, and thanksgiving! Honor and power and might be to our God forever and ever! Amen!”

     13 Then one of the elders said to me, “Who are these, having been clothed in white robes, and from where do they come?” 14 I said to him, “Sir, you know.” And he said, [the following is word for word translation) “These are the coming/going out of the tribulation the great and washed/to wash {I don’t know how to read the tense} the robes (of) them and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. 15 “Therefore they are before the very throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple. And - he who sits on the throne will shelter them with his presence. {They are mentioned again, during the fifth trumpet.} 16 They will not hunger nor thirst anymore. Nor shall fall upon them the sun nor any burning-glow of heat [kauma]. 17 For the Lamb, in the midst of the throne, will shepherd them, and will lead them to living fountains [pégé - springs, fountains, wells] of water.

     And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”

(Whatever it takes? for the person to believe?) 34 And looking up to heaven, he sighed and said, “Ephphatha,” that is, “Be opened.” 35 And the man’s ears were opened, and his tongue was released. 1John 3 18-22

 a paraphrased ‘enter the story’

08/17 ~ From New Testament Letters

   (In the Order Believed Written)

18 - Little children, let’s not just love in word and talk, but in actions and in truth. {Genuinely, not just talk a good talk, but sincere affection for our fellow person. To examine our heart and thoughts by this measure/rod. Both the adversary/accuser and our own carnality is like an unseen slithering serpent. Guard our heart, and exercise discernment.}

     19 For it is by this we’ll know we’re of the truth {and in “the Way”} and will reassure our heart before him. 20 For when our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and he knows all. 21 And beloved, if our heart doesn’t condemn us, we have confidence before him. 22 And whatever we ask of him, we receive, because we keep his commands/instructions and do what pleases him.

     {Our New Testament/Covenant/Contract w/ God instructions. And the well being and society preserving “ten commandments”/instructions we keep through God’s HoLy Spirit/Presence with us.. and through Jesus. Our “faith is reckoned as righteousness” and innocence and pardon, all debt paid by “Christ Crucified”. God’s Spirit in and with us will cause us to keep the ten, better than the Pharisees, etc. Foods and days/Sabbaths (especially for non-hebrew believers) are according to ones “own” conscience and mind [Ro.14:5] as Jesus iS the Sabbath, which the day is the “type and shadow” of. Then we “follow” the New Testament instructions to “abide in him” and to “abide in the scripture” - abide in the personified logos, and abide in the written logos/reasoning, as “all scripture is for training” 2Tim.3:16.

     Training for what? Eternity. But also for serving, called reigning, during Jesus’ long second advent? Consisting of “the millennium” - upon Earth, a Sabbath millennium rest from enmity, war, division, evil. And there are mortal survivors of the apocalypse - which was fully done by man - serving also during the release of the adversary&co, and the gathering they do, once again to an ‘armageddon’ “against God’s camp” - the earth again under sway of division.. accusations.. hatred. But then the fiery flash defeat and a second mention of a lake of fire. First is at the armageddon battle that concludes this straying/imperfection/entropy which began in Eden - for no option to stray would be humanity as an ant farm? And the final mention of a lake of fire is after GWT Judgment ‘day’ has concluded - surely a ‘day’ of full closure for all and concerning all history and the traumas of it. This (GWT ‘day’) of course, during the second half of the “8th day”/millennium, the “last great day” - Lev.23:36, Jn.7:37. (And Mt.25:1-13 - the door to). Called reigning, for to do His works is to reign? “Crown of LiFe” ..not like the world with metal crowns. Kingdom vs. empire.}

   08/17 - GospeL Verses

(After answering the Pharisees complaint and accusation) 14 - Jesus called to him the people again saying, “Listen and understand, 15 there is no food outside a person that defiles them. It’s what comes out of a person that pollutes them.”

     17 When he had gone inside, his disciples asked him about it, 18 and he said, “Are you also without understanding? Do you not see what goes into a person from outside doesn’t pollute, 19 for it doesn’t enter the heart, but it enters the stomach, and is expelled?” Thus he declared all foods clean. 20 And he said, “What comes out of a person, is what ruins. 21 For from within, out of the heart, comes evil thoughts, sexual immorality, thefts, murder, adultery, 22 coveting, wickedness, deceit, wantonness [aselgeia - licentiousness, lewdness, from aselgēs - brutal – properly, violent spite which rejects restraint and indulges in lawless insolence] envy, slander, pride, foolishness. 23 All these evil things {pollutions} come from within. And they are what pollute.” {And ruin.}

     24 From there he went to the region of Tyre and Sidon. And entered a house and didn’t want anyone to know he was there, but it couldn’t be kept secret. 25 And right away a woman whose little daughter had an unclean spirit heard of him and came and fell down at his feet. 26 Now the woman was a Gentile, a Syro-phoenician (palestinian) by birth. And she begged him to cast the demon out of her daughter. 27 And he said to her, “(We must) let the children be fed first, for it’s not right to give the children's bread to the little dogs.” 28 But she answered him, “Yes, Lord; yet even the little dogs under the table eat the children’s crumbs that fall from the table.”

      29 “For this,” he said (smiling and impressed?) “you may go your way, and you will find the demon has left your little daughter.” 30 And she went home and found the child resting in bed and the demon had gone from her.

   08/16 - GospeL Verses

1 - Some Pharisees and scribes who had come from Jerusalem had gathered around him. 2 And they noticed some of his disciples ate without washing their hands first. 3 For the Pharisees and their followers when they come from the marketplaces, and before they eat, wash their hands a certain traditional way. 4 And there are many other traditions they observe, certain ways of washing cups, pots, copper vessels and dining couches.

      5 So the Pharisees and scribes asked him, “Why do your disciples not walk according to the tradition of the elders? But are eating with unwashed hands?” 6 And he answered them, “Well did Isaiah prophesy, ‘You honor me with your lips, and your heart is far from me. 7 In vain do you worship me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’ 8 For you abandon the commandment of God and you hold to men’s traditions. 9 You have a fine way of rejecting the commandment of God in order to have your own tradition! 10 For Moses said, ‘Honor your father and your mother’ and, ‘Woe to whoever neglects father or mother.’ 11 But you say, ‘If a man tells his father or his mother, “Whatever you would have gained from me is Corban/put in trust, as put aside for God, 12 then they don’t have to do anything for their father or mother! 13 Thus canceling the word of God by your {self serving} tradition, you’ve handed down. And there are many more things like this which you do.”

10 - By this it’s evident who the children of God are, and who are (still) children of the devil {first gone rogue one, and accelerator}. Whoever doesn’t live righteously is not of God, noR is the one who doesn’t love their fellow (person). {To have true affection for! And not just those who think like our own self does.}

     11 This is the message that you’ve heard from the beginning! That we should love one another.

     12 We should not be like Cain, who was of the evil one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his own deeds were evil [ponéros - toilsome, bad] {not good} and his brother's deeds were righteous. 13 Don’t be surprised, brothers and sisters, that the world dislikes you. 14 We know we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brothers and sisters [adelphos - from alpha, a prefix and delphus - womb] {Eve is “the mother of us all” and especially our brothers and sisters believing in the Lord with us}. Whoever does not love, is dwelling and living in death.

   08/15 - GospeL Verses

46 - After Jesus saw the people off, he went further inland, into the mountain in order to be alone to pray. 47 And when evening came, the boat was out on the sea [of Galilee] but he was still on land. 48 He saw they were struggling, for the wind was against them. {Like life! Imperfection/entropy a slow gehenna that flares up into fiery judgments from time to time.. happens to all, leading up to the true judgment which ultimately and eventually will occur in every heart, as Jesus “will draw all” Jn.12:32, because “God is savior of all” 1Tim.4:10. And “in the fullness of time” after the the week plus one, after the “8th day”/millennium, “when the Son has subdued all and hands all over to the Father at the “end-aim” then “all of heaven/angelos and all of earth/anthropos will be gathered into Jesus” that “God be all in all” via the simultaneous 2nd vivification at the fieRy “palin/again-genesis”, separated five hundred years (Lev.23) from its partner, the 2nd resurrection. Ephesians 1:10, 1Cor.15:(22)27-28-word all five times is pas-all.}

     And then at about the fourth watch of the night he went out to them walking on the water. He meant to pass by, 49 but they saw him and thought it was a ghost, and cried out! 50 For they saw him walking by on the water and were terrified. But he said, “Take heart! It is I! Don’t be afraid!” 51 And he got into the boat with them, and the wind stopped, and they were utterly amazed. 52 For they didn’t understand [suniémi - put together, consider, understand, perceive] about the loaves, for their hearts were hardened [póroó - petrified, hardened, from pōros, a kind of marble) – properly, made of stone; figuratively, insensible, dull, unperceptive, unresponsive]. {Unresponsive.. perhaps struggles of life make us more responsive.. and he gets in, or that is we realize he’s in the boat with us. This in response to the extreme thought that when he calls we should be like - zero. Zero response. I understand we DO NOT earn Life/salvation. That’s the other extreme. But a stone as a bride? I can’t think that’s the way either.}

     53 When they had crossed over, they came to land at Gennesaret and anchored at shore. 54 When they got out of the boat, the people immediately knew it was Jesus, 55 and they ran about the whole region and began to bring sick ones on their beds to wherever they heard he was. 56 And wherever he came, in the villages, cities, or countryside, they laid the sick in the marketplaces and implored him that they might touch even the fringe of his garment. And as many as touched, were made whole.

3 - Everyone who is hoping [elpis - expects, hopes] in him purifies their self as he is pure [hagnos - free of contamination].

     4 Anyone who makes a practice of doing wrong is practicing lawlessness. For sin [hamartia - missing the mark, doing wrong] is lawlessness. 5 You know that he appeared in order to take away all that {and ultimately all “missing the mark”/imperfection which is just naturally entropy which “doesn’t quit” because God is Life and “is perfect” Mt.5:48}. And in him there is no sin/missing the mark/imperfection. 6 No one who abides in him, keeps doing wrong, or they have not seen him nor known him. (Which equates to “I never knew you”?) 7 Little children, don’t let anyone mislead you. Whoever practices doing right is righteous, even as he is righteous. 8 Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil [diabolos - in secular Greek means "backbiter," i.e. an accuser (slanderer) diábolos is literally someone who "casts through," i.e. making charges that bring down (destroy) from diaballó - to bring charges with hostile intent] for the devil has been doing wrong from the beginning. {Of creation. God’s patience is shown by his waiting for the first bound to occur rebel thought to not only occur, but to ripen into outright sedition. So “all in heaven and earth” would take this unavoidable journey/lesson all together at once.} For this reason the Son of God appeared and  was revealed, to destroy [luó - loose, release, dissolve] the works [érgon - work, deed (action) that carries out and completes the intention and purpose] of the devil. 9 No one born of God makes a practice of sinning. God's seed abides in them and they cannot keep on sinning, because they have been born of God.

30 - After being sent out, the apostles returned and told Jesus all they had done and taught. 31 And he said to them, “Come away by yourselves to be alone and rest a while.” For many were coming and going, and they had no opportunity even to eat. 32 So they went in the boat to a place alone. 33 But many who were there from all the towns, saw them going and ran ahead on foot and got there before them. (Now thAt’s enthusiasm, I’m totaLLy convinced, his so brief first advent is a small replica of his long second advent!) 34 When he went ashore he saw a great crowd, and he had compassion, because they were like sheep with no shepherd. And so he taught them many things. 35 And when it grew late, his disciples came and said, “This is a desolate place, and the hour is late. 36 Should we send them away to go into the surrounding countryside and villages to find food?” 37 But he answered, “You give them something to eat.” So they said, “Shall we go and buy two hundred denarii worth of bread?” 38 And he said, “How many loaves do you have? Go and see.” And when they had found out, they came back and said, “Five, and two fish.” 39 Then he told them all to sit down in groups on the grass. 40 So they sat down in groups, by hundreds and fifties. 41 And taking the five loaves and the two fish, he looked up to heaven, said a blessing, broke the loaves, and gave them to the disciples to hand out to the people. And he divided also the two fish among them all.

     42 And they were all satisfied. (Ultimately all of us, with what he teaches us and feeds us. His sheep.) 43 And they took up twelve baskets full of leftover pieces of bread and fish. 44 And those who ate the loaves were about five thousand.

     45 Then he had his disciples get into the boat and go ahead of him to the other side, to Bethsaida, while he stayed and sent the people on their ways home.

But whoever confesses the Son, has the Father as well. 24 Let what you heard from the beginning stay with you! {The original and genuine message.} If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, then you will abide in the Son, and also in the Father. 25 And this is the promise that he made to us - enduring life. [“Aionion Life”]

     26 I {disciple/apostle John} write these things to you because there are those who are trying to mislead you! 27 But if the anointing he gives, and that you received abides in you, then you have no need that someone should guide and teach you. For it is his anointing that teaches you about everything! And is true. And so it is no lie, just as it has been taught you -> abide in Him.

     28 And now, little children, abide in him - so that when he appears we may have confidence and not shrink back from him at his coming. 29 If you know that he is righteous, you may be sure that believers who practice righteousness have been born of him.

14 - King Herod heard all about Jesus, for his name had become very well known. Some people said, “John the Baptist has been raised from the dead! That’s why these miraculous powers are at work in him.” 15 But others said, “He’s Elijah!” And still others said, “He’s a prophet, like one of the prophets of old.”

     16 But when Herod heard of it, he said, “John, whom I beheaded, has been raised!” 17 For it was Herod who had ordered John be arrested and cast into prison for the sake of Herodias, his brother Philip's wife, because he had married his own. brother’s wife. 18 For John had been saying to Herod, “It’s not lawful for you to have her.”

     19 So Herodias hated him. And she wanted to have him put to death. But she couldn’t, 20 because Herod (a hebrew by birth) feared John. For he knew he was a righteous and holy man, and so he kept him safe. When he heard him speak, he was perplexed and troubled. Yet he liked to listen to him.

     21 But an opportunity came when Herod, upon his birthday, gave a banquet for his nobles, military commanders, and the leading men of Galilee. 22 When Herodias' daughter came in and danced for them, she pleased Herod and his guests. And the king exclaimed, “Ask me for whatever you wish! And I will give it to you!” 23 And he vowed, “Whatever you ask! I will give you! Up to half of my kingdom!” 24 So she sought out her mother and said, “What should I ask for?” And her mother said, “The head of John the Baptist.” 25 So she hurried back to the king, saying, “I want you to give me the head of John the Baptist on a platter.”

     26 The king was troubled and regretful, but because of his oath - his guests heard it - he didn’t want to be seen breaking his word. 27 So he sent for an executioner with orders to bring John's head, who then went and beheaded him in the prison. 28 And he brought his head on a platter, and gave it to the girl. And the girl gave it to her mother. 29 When his disciples heard of it, they came and took his body and laid it in a tomb.

What is this wisdom? How does he do such mighty works? 3 Isn’t this the carpenter’s son?! Son of Mary and the brother of James, Joses, Judas and Simon?” (James and Judas/Jude each have a letter in our New Testament. James became an important leader in Jerusalem.) “And are not his sisters here with us?” And they were offended. 4 But Jesus knowing their thoughts and what they were saying, said, “A prophet isn’t doubted except in his hometown, and among his relatives, and within his own house.” 5 And he couldn’t do miracles there, except he laid his hands on a few sick folks and they were healed. 6 He marveled over their unbelief, and went about among the other villages teaching.

     7 Then he appointed the twelve and began to send them out two by two. He gave them authority over the unclean spirits, 8 and told them to take nothing for their journey except a staff - no bread, no bag, no money in their belts. 9 And to wear sandals but not take another tunic. 10 “Whenever you enter a house,” he said, “stay there until you leave from there. 11 If a town or place won’t receive you, or listen to you, when you leave, shake the dust off your feet” {don’t let it bother you} “as a testimony. I tell you, it will be more tolerable [anektoteros: tolerable, endurable] {will go better} for Sodom or Gomorrah in [en -in, on, at, by, with, among, during] ‘day’ of judgment than for that city.” 12 So they went out and they proclaimed repentance [metanoeó - from metá - changed after being with, and noiéō - think,  so - think differently afterwards]. 13 And they cast out many demons, and anointed with oil many who were sick and they were healed.

08/08 ~ From New Testament Letters

   (In the Order Believed Written)

6 - Whoever says they abide in the Lord, ought to walk the same way he walked. 7 Beloved, I’m not writing to you any new commandment/instruction, but an old one that you have had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word that you’ve heard. 8 At the same time, it’s a new commandment, for it’s true in him and in you, because the darkness is passing away. And the true light is already shining. {Until “the falling away” by an of the world (surely?) “false prophet’s strong delusion” which “seats man in the temple as god”/highest power, resulting in “the anthropos of lawlessness”. And division being the siren call to the resulting armageddon battle.} 9 Whoever says they are in the light and despises their brother or sister (and fellow person) is in darkness. 10 But whoever loves their fellow person abides in the light, and in them there’s no cause for stumbling. (Because “love fulfills The Law” Ro.13:8,10.)

40 - Now when they returned to the other side of Lake Galilee, a crowd of people were there waiting for Jesus. 41 And there came along also a man named Jairus, who was a leader of the town synagogue. And falling at his feet, he implored him to come to his house, 42 for he had an only daughter, about twelve years old, and she was dying.

     As Jesus went, the crowd pressed around him. 43 And there was a woman who had a bleeding for twelve years, and though she had spent all her earnings on doctors, she couldn’t be healed by anyone. 44 She came up behind Jesus and touched the fringe of his garment, and immediately she was healed. 45 And Jesus said, “Who was it that touched me?” When no one knew, Peter said, “Master, the crowds surround you and are pressing in upon you!” 46 But Jesus said, “Someone touched me, for I perceive that power went out from me.” 47 And when the woman saw that she was not hidden, she was afraid, and fell down before him and declared in the presence of all the people why she had touched him, and how she had been at once healed. 48 And he said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace.”

08/07 ~ From New Testament Letters

   (In the Order Believed Written)

1 - My little children (disciple, elder and apostle John is now an old man) I am writing these things to you so that you may not miss the mark, the goal. But if anyone does, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. 2 He is the propitiation [hilasmos - atonement, expiation-took on the penalty] (wage, result) for our sins [hamartia - missing the mark] (which penalty is in it.. the missing the mark, imperfection, which is not only imperfect, an abyss of potential even, but is this slow gehenna fade, entropy which “does not quit” but the end-aim (greek tel/end) is death - the debt he paid) and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

     3 And by this we know we have come to know him, if we do the things he says [entolé - instructs, orders, commands, instructions]. 4 Someone who says “I know him” but doesn’t follow after him is claiming a falsehood, and the truth is not {yet} in them. 5 But whoever keeps his words, in them truly, the love of God is being perfected. And by this - we can know we are abiding in him.

ACTS 3 1-26

 Universalism in the New Testament

       BooK of Acts of the First Believers

                          (Paraphrased)

1 - Now Peter and John were going up to the temple at the ninth hour, an hour of prayer. 2 And a man lame from birth was carried daily and laid at one of the gates of the temple - the one called the Beautiful Gate - to ask alms of those entering the temple. 3 Seeing that day Peter and John about to go into the temple, he asked alms of them. 4 And Peter and John stopped, and Peter said, “Listen.” 5 And so he fixed his attention upon them, expecting to receive something. 6 But Peter said, “I have no silver or gold. But what I do have I give to you. In the name of Jesus of Nazareth, rise up and walk!” 7 And he took him by the right [dexios - from dechomai - to receive] hand and raised him up, and immediately his feet and ankles were made strong. 8 And then leaping up, the man stood and began to walk, and he entered the temple with them, walking and leaping and praising God! 9 And all the people saw him walking and praising God, 10 and recognized him as the one who sat at the Beautiful Gate, asking for alms every day. And they were filled with wonder and amazement.

     11 While the man stayed with Peter and John, all the people, utterly astounded, ran together to them in the portico called Solomon's Porch. 12 And when Peter saw the crowd that had gathered, he addressed the people saying, “People of Israel, why do you wonder at this?! Or why do you stare at us? As though by our own power or goodness we have made him walk? 13 No, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, the God of our fathers, glorified his servant Jesus, whom you delivered over and denied in the presence of Pilate, when he had decided to release him. 14 But you denied the Holy and Righteous One, and asked for a murderer to be granted to you! 15 And you killed the Author of life, whom God raised from the dead. And to this we are witnesses! 16 And his name—faith in his name—has made this man strong, which you can see for yourself. And so the faith that is through Jesus has given to him this perfect health in the presence of you all.

     17 And now, brethren, I know that you acted in ignorance, as did also your leaders. 18 But what God foretold by the mouth of all the prophets, that his Christ would suffer, has thus been fulfilled. 19 Repent therefore, and turn, that your sins may be blotted out. 20 And so times of refreshing may come from the Presence of the Lord, and that he may send the Messiah appointed, Jesus, 21 whom heaven must receive until the time for restoring all. About all this God spoke through his holy prophets long ago. 22 Moses said, ‘The Lord God will raise up for you a prophet like me from your brothers. And you shall listen to him! In whatever he tells you. 23 And it shall be that every soul who doesn’t listen to that prophet shall be separated from the people.’ {Earthly destruction, judgment, consequences, cause and effect.. To be not in the “first” resurrection but instead in the one Jesus called an aionion kolasin / eonian korrection / age of correction, Mt.25:46 originally. The rich man and Lazarus parable, and the outside of the vision narrative of Rev.22, portray initial, inner conditions of some - the inner, outside of the Light darkness, gnashing of teeth, etc. But Jesus “will draw all” Jn.12:32, and what is the most effective “correction/kolasin”? Inner, in and of the heart. I believe during GWT Judgment ‘day’ that “judgment” like now, is in the heart. God is, surely(?) 100% unfettered Genius and “is Perfect” Mt.5:48. Hence this entropy, so “God is savior..” 1Tim.4:10.}

     “24 And all the prophets who have spoken, from Samuel and those who came after him, also proclaimed these days. 25 You are the children of the prophets and of the covenant that God made with your fathers, saying to Abraham, ‘And in your seed shall - all - the families of the earth be blessed.’” [Galatians 3:16 - “scripture does not say seeds, meaning many, but seed, meaning one - Christ”. In Christ all families of earth shall be blessed.]

     26 “God, having raised up his servant, sent him to you first, to bless you by turning every one of you from your wickedness” [ponéria - wickedness, evil, malice, from pónos - pain, laborious trouble].

   08/07 - GospeL Verses

21 - And when the boat had crossed back to the other side, again a great crowd gathered by the shore to meet them. 22 Then came along a leader of the synagogue, Jairus by name, and seeing Jesus, he fell at his feet 23 and implored him earnestly, saying, “My little daughter is at the point of death! Come and lay your hands on her, so she may be made well and live.”

     24 And so he went with him. And the crowd went with them, crowding about him. 25 And in the crowd was a woman who had had a bleeding for twelve years. 26 She had suffered much under many different doctors, and had spent all she had, and was no better off but had only grown worse. 27 She had heard the reports about Jesus and she came up behind him and touched his garment. 28 For she thought, “If I but touch his clothing, I will be made well.”

     29 And immediately the flow of blood dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed. 30 And Jesus, knowing power had gone out from him, turned around and said, “Who touched my clothes?” 31 And his disciples said, “This crowd is pressing around you, and you say, ‘Who touched me?’” 32 But he looked around to see who it was. 33 And the woman, knowing what had happened within her, came trembling and fell down before him, and told him the whole truth. 34 And he said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well! Go in peace, and be healed of your disease.”

     35 While he was still speaking, there came from the synagogue leader’s home, messengers who said, “Your daughter has died. Don’t trouble the teacher any longer. 36 But hearing, Jesus said to him, “Don’t be afraid, just believe.” 37 And he allowed no one to follow him except Peter and the brothers James and John. (The three were fishermen together with at least two boats, with John and James’ father. Jesus had called the brothers “sons of thunder” which I think is a reference concerning the father.. for raising good sons and children(?)

     38 And they came to the house where people were wailing and weeping. 39 But Jesus said, “Why are you making a commotion? And doing all this weeping? The child is not dead but sleeping.” 40 And they laughed at him. But he put them all outside and took the child's father and mother and those who were with him and they went in where the child was. 41 And taking her by the hand he said, “Talitha cumi,”which means, “Little girl, I say to you, arise.” 42 And immediately the girl got up and began walking about, for she was twelve years of age, and they were immediately overcome with amazement. 43 And he told them that none should know of it, and said to give her something to eat.

5 - This is the message we’ve heard from him and that we proclaim to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness. No darkness at all. 6 If we say we have fellowship/friendship with him while we walk in darkness, we are deceiving our self and others, and not living the truth. 7 But if we walk in the light, as he’s in the light, we have friendship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us {releases} [katharizó - root of catharsis] from all sin [hamartia - missing the mark]. 8 If we say we have no sin {imperfection, falling short, having made mistskes, bad choices, etc} we deceive ourselves, and the truth isn’t in us. 9 If we confess our sins {agree we are imperfect/miss the mark of perfection, but which surprise! Is God’s gift to us at the Lord’s return ..first vivification is concurrent with first resurrection. Second one is separated by GWT Judgment /Full Closure ‘Day’.} And he is faithful and just to forgive us of all that {so we should too} and to cleanse us [katharizó] from all unrighteousness {all unrightness!}.10 If we say we have not fallen short, we make him a liar, and his word {message, truth, logos-logic, reasoning} is not in us.

   08/06 - GospeL Verses

1 - When they came to the other side of the sea of Galilee, to the country of the Gerasenes, 2 Jesus stepped out of the boat, and immediately, a man came out from among the tombs and met him. 3 He had an unclean spirit and lived there among the tombs. No one could keep him bound, not even with a chain. 4 For he had often been shackled and chained, but he broke the chains apart, and tore the shackles in pieces. There was no one strong enough to subdue him. 5 And night and day he wandered among the tombs and among the hills, crying out and cutting himself with stones.

     6 When he saw Jesus from a distance, he ran and fell down before him. 7 And crying out with a loud voice said, “What have you to do with me?! Jesus, Son of the Most High God?! I adjure you by God, don’t torment me!” {Purity consumes impurity.} 8 For Jesus was saying to him, “Come out of the man! You unclean spirit!” 9 And he asked him, “What is your name?” And he replied, “My name is Legion! For we are many!” 10 Then he begged him not to send them out of the country. 11 On the nearby hillside, a large herd of pigs was feeding, 12 and they begged him, “Send us to the pigs, and let us enter into them.”

     13 So he gave them permission. And the unclean spirits came rushing out and entered the pigs, and the herd, numbering about two thousand, rushed down the steep bank into the sea and drowned.

     14 The herdsmen ran and told what had happened to the people in the city and the surrounding countryside. And people came to see. 15 And when they came to Jesus and saw the demon-possessed man who had had the legion, sitting there, clothed, and in his right mind, they were afraid. 16 Those who had seen it repeated to them what had occurred to the man and to the pigs. 17 Then out of fear, the people asked Jesus to go away and leave the region. 18 As he was getting into the boat, the man who had been possessed with demons asked him if he might go with him. 19 But Jesus said, “Go home to your friends and tell them how much the Lord has done for you. And how he has had kindness upon you.” 20 And he went away and began to proclaim in the Decapolis, the “land of the ten cities” how much Jesus had done for him. And they all marveled.

1 John, 2 John and 3 John are letters written by the disciple/apostle John, who also wrote the “Gospel According to John” and the Book of Revelation. He’s the only one of the twelve who lived to an old age, which is when he wrote these letters and received the revelation vision.

     1 - That which was from the beginning, which we (apostles) have heard, which we saw with our eyes, and looked upon and have touched with our hands. [After resurrection Jesus said “touch me and see that I have flesh and bones”.] The things concerning the word of life. 2 For the life was made visible [phaneróō - from phṓs - light – properly, illumine, make manifest(visible)]. And we saw it, and testify of it, and proclaim it to you, which was with the Father and was made known to us. 3 That which we have seen and heard we declare to you! So that you too may have fellowship with God along with us. For indeed our fellowship (friendship/visiting) is with the Father and with his Son Jesus. 4 And I am writing these things so the joy we all have may be complete and full.

26 - After the storm, they sailed to the country of the Gerasenes, which is on the opposite shore from Galilee. 27 When Jesus stepped out onto land, there met him a man from the city who had many demons. For a long time he hadn’t lived in a house, but lived among the tombs, and he wore no clothing. 28 When he saw Jesus, he cried out and fell down before him, saying in a loud voice, “What have you to do with me! Jesus, you son of the Most High God! I beg of you! Don’t torment me!” 29 For Jesus had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. Many times it had seized him, and he was kept under guard and bound with chains and shackles. But he would break the bonds and be driven by his demons into the wilderness.

    30 Jesus then asked him, “What is your name?” And he said, “Legion,” for it was many demons which had entered into him. 31 And they begged him not to order them into the abyss.

     32  A large herd of pigs were feeding on a nearby hillside, so they begged him to let them enter the pigs. And so he let them, 33 and the demons came rushing out of the man and into the pigs, and the herd ran down the steep bank and into the lake and were drowned.

     34 Now when the herdsmen saw what had happened, they ran and told everyone in the countryside and in the city. 35 So people went out to see what had happened, and when they came to Jesus, they found the man from whom the demons had gone, sitting at his feet, clothed and in his right mind. And it made them afraid! 36 And those who saw what had happened told them how all that had happened. 37 Then the people asked Jesus to leave, for they were under great fear. So he got into the boat and returned to the other side. 38 The man from whom the demons had gone had wanted to go with him, but Jesus said, 39 “Go home, and tell everyone how much God has done for you.” And so he went away, telling throughout the whole region what Jesus had done for him.

15 - Through him then - let us during all times, offer up a *sacrifice of praise* (a note for prophecy, esp. Dn.12:11) to God, that is, the fruit of lips that speak [homologeó - speak the same, agree upon] the name [onoma - name, authority, cause] of him. {We humans can, and are prone to, making idols of anything.. the law, his name, the sabbath.. leaders, teachings, doctrines, our own ‘knowledge’.. but it is Christ Crucified/the cross of Christ, that works and will bring us to the goal of being like him, finalized for us at his return. His cause endures.}

     16 Don’t neglect to do good {in deeds and especially attitude} and to share what you have. For such sacrifices are pleasing to God. 17 Listen to your leaders, following their lead, for they watch over your souls [psyxḗ - from psyxō - breath, wind, blow which is the root of the English words psyche, psychology, soul, psyche, a person's distinct identity, unique personhood, i.e. individual personality] as those who must give an account. To this end, allow them to lead with joy and not with grief, for of what advantage is that?

    18 Pray for us! We have a good conscience, wanting always to conduct ourselves well {with Truth and genuineness} toward all. 19 And pray too that I be restored to you the sooner!

     20 Now may the God of peace - who raised out of death our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep - by the very blood of the enduring covenant, 21 equip you with all that’s necessary that you may do his will.

     HE - working in us - that which is pleasing in his sight. Through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever, amen! 22 I encourage you, to bear with my words of encouragement [paraklésis - a calling to one's aid, i.e. encouragement, comfort] which is why I’ve written to you briefly. {Lol.} 23 You know our brother Timothy has been released! 8 - Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. 9 Don’t be misled by different, new, and strange teachings, for what’s good for the heart is to be strengthened by grace - not by foods, what to eat and what not to eat, which doesn’t spiritually benefit those devoted to it. {Must have been a prevalent teaching/doctrine at the time.} 10 We have an altar from which those who {still} serve in the tent have no right to partake. [“Serve in the tent” - the wilderness temple, all such - temple, holy days - are an illustration of spiritual reality. The “law of Moses” was a system of rules for preserving society and character. Imperfect is entropy. It cannot make itself perfect in order to stop the entropy (a slow gehenna crucible, but(!) it was Ant Farm oR Total ‘herd’ Immunity?]

     11 For the bodies of those animals whose blood is brought into the holy place, by the high priest, are a sacrifice for sin. {And cure, strong enough to convince and appease every psyche and conscience.} And the dead body is burned up outside the camp. 12 So Jesus also suffered outside the gate (of the city wall) in order to sanctify the people through his own blood. 13 Therefore let us go to him outside the camp (outside societal acceptance and approval - I read that in a commentary) and bear the reproach he endured. 14 For here we have no lasting city (world, kingdom) but we seek (await) the one that is to come!
