08/31 ~ From New Testament Letters

   (In the Order Believed Written)

9 - I (John) have written something to the church/group, but Diotrephes, who likes to put himself as foremost, doesn’t welcome us. 10 So if I come, I’ll bring it up, along with the terrible nonsense he’s been saying against us. And not only that, but he also refuses to welcome the brothers, and he prevents those who want to welcome them from doing so!

     11 Beloved! Don’t imitate evil! {As Diotrephes, sowing division, competing, accusing, slandering, etc, all worldly political and a siren call to ever worsening things.} Instead imitate the good. Whoever does good is of God. Whoever does evil has not {yet} seen God.

     12 Now Demetrius, he has received a good testimony from everyone. And from truth itself! {“Truth bears witness of itself”. Logic stands. Root word of logic is logos.} We also add our witness, and you know that our witness {testimony, testament} is true.

     13 I had much to write to you, but I would rather not write with reed and ink. 14 I hope to see you soon, and we will talk face to face.

     {This ends the year for the N.T. letters, tomorrow we start over.}

   08/31 - GospeL Verses

33 - Then Jesus and the twelve went home to Capernaum. When they were in the house he asked the disciples, “What were you discussing on the way?” 34 They didn’t say anything, because they’d been arguing with one another about who was the greater. 35 So he sat down and called them round, and he said, “If you would be first, you must be last of all, and a servant of all.”

     36 And then he called a small child over to them, and taking him in his arms, he said, 37 “Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me. And whoever receives me, receives not me, but he who sent me.”

     38 John (who also wrote a gospel account/testimony/testament and 1,2 and 3 John) said, “Rabbi/teacher, we saw someone casting out demons in your name, and we tried to stop him, because he’s not with us.” 39 But Jesus said, “Don’t stop him. For anyone who does a mighty work in my name will not be soon able to speak evil of me. 40 For the one who’s not against us is for us. 41 Truly I tell you, whoever may give you a cup of water because you follow me, will by no means lose their reward!

     42 “But whoever guides one of these little ones into error, it would be better for them if a great millstone were hung around their neck and they be thrown into the sea. 43 If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off! It’s better for you to enter [eiserchomai - enter, go into, come into, go through] life crippled than with two hands away into gehenna fire {‘fiery’ trials and troubles} not quenched.” {Entropy (imperfection) which doesn’t quit so naturally ends in death, but can include much dissolution, thus suffering/‘hell’ on the way.}  45 “And if your foot leads you to crime, cut it off! It’s better for you to enter [eiserchomai - from eis - to or into, point reached, and erchomai -  to come, go] {go through?} life lame than with two feet to be thrown into gehenna” (valley dump where criminal’s bodies were thrown so the fires were kept burning, considered a great psychological insult). 47 “And if your eye causes you to do wrong, tear it out! It’s better for you to enter/be in the kingdom of God with one eye than with two eyes to be thrown into gehenna, 48 ‘where the worm {of decomposition} does not die and the fire is not quenched’ [sbennumi - extinguished, quenched, suppressed, thwarted, put out]. 49 For - everyone - will be salted with fire.” {God’s wrath is cause and effect/consequences/results. Plus greaT sin will ultimately result in deep heart and gut wrenching remorse. Imagine having been a heartless despot, serial killer, child sex trafficker.. What sort of correction [kolasin] works best? Inner. Inner judgment, inner condemnation.. beating self up “with many stripes?” until realizing Christ Crucified, strong enough to appease every psyche and conscience.}

     50 “Salt is good. But if salt loses its saltiness, how will it be made salty again? Have salt within yourselves! And - be at peace - with one another.”

     {Salt preserves from corruption/rot/entropy. We could say, life as we presently know it - imperfection, thus fading away, is the ‘parable’ of the decomposing ‘apple’ and its worm that doesn’t quit - which iS the decomposing. A slow motion gehenna ‘burning’ away, that at times flares up into fiery judgments and wars. Corruption, decomposing and degrading does not quit until it is dust. “Dust thou art” dust to dust, God’s wrath. But if there had been no option to stray in Eden, creation would have to be an ant farm. So this unavoidable, all important contrast is experienced, and let to run its course, one and done. Humanity and creation will be “sealed”/saturated with God’s Spirit/Presence. “Sealed” (‘herd’ immunity) from straying/imperfection which is an abyss of potential ..versus Ant Farm?

     How do you create genuinely able to think and reason beings, aNd, keep paradise/perfection intact? God is Life and “is perfect” mt.5:48, the ‘end’ result cannot be anything less than the best one possible. God is surely(?) 100% unfettered Genius. And Love! THE utter Perfection. Which shaLL - and hAs to - rule. Since God is Life, nothing besides Perfect can ever work or endure. He is making all perfect. He iS Life, and “is perfect”.}

1 - From the elder, to my dear friend Gaius, whom I love in the truth. 2 Beloved, I pray you prosper in all things and be in health, even as your soul [psychΔ“ - soul, mind, life, self, inner being] prospers. 3 It makes me very happy when the Lord's followers come by and mention how you are living in the truth. 4 Nothing brings me greater happiness than to hear that my children (in the faith) are obeying the truth.

     5 Dear friend, you have always been faithful in helping other followers of the Lord, even ones you’ve not met before and don’t know. 6 They have told the church of your love. [Church - ekklΓ©sia - from ek - out from and to, and kaléō - to call – called out - from the world - and to God - (called out) assembly.] Saying you welcomed them gladly and sent them on their mission with all that they needed. 7 When they left to tell others about the Lord, they decided not to accept help from anyone but followers of the Lord. 8 We should support such as they, so we can share in their labors!

4 - I was very happy and rejoiced to see some of your children walking in the Truth, according to how we have been commanded (instructed) by the Father. (John of course means believers in the group of believers he’s writing to, as an old man, John called everyone children.) 5 And now I ask you, dear lady (believing group) - not as though I were writing you a new commandment [entolΓ© - commandment, order, instruction] - but the one we have had from the beginning > that we love one another. 6 And this is love, that we walk according to his instructions. And this is the command/instruction, just as you have heard from the beginning, so that you should walk in it. 7 For - many deceivers - are in the world, those who deny the coming of Christ  (Messiah) Jesus in the flesh (literally). Such teaching is deception and antichrist. 8 Watch yourselves, so you may not lose what we have worked for, but may win the full prize! 9 Everyone who runs on ahead and doesn’t stay [menΓ³n - remain, abide, stay, continue, dwell] in - the teaching of Christ - does not have God. Whoever abides in - Christ’s - teaching has both the Father and the Son. 10 If any believer comes to you and doesn’t bring this teaching, don’t receive them nor embrace their message, 11 for whoever does, takes part in their harmful [ponΓ©ros - evil, wicked, bad, malicious, hurtful] works.

     12 Though I have much to write to you, I would rather not use papyrus and ink [melon - black, dark]. Instead I hope to come to you and talk face to face, so that our joy may be full.

      13 The children of your elect sister greet you.

     He said to the spirit “Spirit of muteness [alalos - speechless] and deafness [kΓ³phos] I command you, come out of him and don’t enter him again.”

     26 Then after crying out and convulsing him, it came out. And the boy lay there like he was dead, so most of them said, “He’s dead!” 27 But Jesus took him by the hand, raising him, and he stood up.

     28 Later when Jesus had gone into the house, his disciples asked him, “Why couldn’t we cast it out?” 29 He answered, “This kind can’t be driven out but by prayer.”

     30 A little later they went on from there, passing through Galilee. And he didn’t want anyone to know, 31 for he was telling his disciples, “The Son of Man is going to be delivered into the hands of men, and they will kill him. But after three days he will rise.” 32 But they didn’t understand what he meant, and they were afraid to ask.

14 - When Jesus, with James, John and Peter came down from the mountain, they saw a large crowd around the rest of the disciples, and the teachers of the law were arguing with them. 15 When the crowd saw Jesus, they ran to him and joyfully greeted him.

     16 He asked the disciples what the teachers had been arguing with them about, 17 and someone from the crowd said, “Teacher, I brought my son, for he has a spirit that makes him mute. 18 And whenever it seizes him, it throws him down, he grinds his teeth and foams at the mouth, and becomes rigid. So I asked your disciples to cast it out, but they couldn’t.” 19 Then Jesus said, “Oh unbelieving generation.” (Humanity.) “How long shall I be with you? How long will I have to carry you?” {Sounds like it’s been a while, supporting the Son’s preexistence, which some few believers dispute.} “Bring him to me.”

     20 And they brought the boy to him. And when the spirit saw him, immediately it convulsed him, and he fell on the ground and rolled about, foaming at the mouth. 21 And Jesus asked the father, “How long has this been happening?” And he said, “From early childhood. 22 And it has often thrown him into fire and into water, trying to destroy him! But if you can, have compassion and help us!”

     23 “‘If I can’?” Jesus said, “All things are possible if you believe.” 24 The father said, “I do believe! Help my unbelief!” [Apistia - unbelief, unfaithfulness, distrust, doubt.]  {“How long?”}

14 - And this is the confidence we have, that if we ask anything - according to His will - he hears us. 15 And if he hears us, we have the requests we ask for. 16 So if you see your brother or sister sinning (hamartanΓ³ - missing the mark) ask, and God will give them life (repentance/turning). Unless it’s the sin unto death. Concerning that I cannot say. {Blasphemy/insulting the Spirit/Presence of God). Called ‘the unforgiveable sin’. The unable to be forgiven sin while it’s being practiced? And logic, root word logos, in Jn.12:32, John recorded how Jesus said he will draw all. But to hate and despise God takes a bit more than our prayer? In Mark 3:29, Jesus said “they have not forgiveness to the age, it is an aionion sin.” To what age? And Matthew 12:32, “they are not forgiven in this age or the next age.” It being CE when he spoke, so unforgiven this age and also during “the” coming “millennium” a Sabbath rest from enmity and evil. And what follows that? Satan & Co are released and they go out and gather, once again to an armageddon against now, the millennial Jerusalem. Gather who? Logically, descendants of mortal survivors of the apocalypse (the totally man done apocalypse.. except for the rogue angels which work as accelerators. Otherwise this whole ‘parable’ of the decomposing ‘apple’ and its worm that doesn’t quit, the decomposing, could take a long time indeed. “All the world’s a stage” - Shakespeare. Because God is Life and “is perfect”, straying is imperfection, and thus entropy. (Sorry I’m straying, as usual.) Then after the gathering to the post millennial war, the fiery final defeat (and a second mention of a lake of fire, first was at the first armageddon, third and last m ention is at the fiery “palin/again-genesis.” But first) aFter the fiery, final defeat of Satan & Co, is GWT ‘Day’ of Judgment.. and closure for all and all history. John 12:32!! Rev.20, told like describing the crests of waves and not much of the in between.}

     17 All wrongdoing is sin, but there is missing the mark that is not so drastic. {That’s good because we are none of us “perfect” and totally hitting the mark - not yet! Heb.11:40. But to have received the satanic logic to the point of despising God? A tougher matter. ..And a sign of times? Bad things are like noxious weeds that choke out flowers and vegetables. And are like sharp thistles. Why Jesus had a “crown of thorns”?}

     18 For we know that everyone who has been born of God doesn’t just keep on sinning, for God protects them from the evil one. 19 We know that we’re from God, but “the world” lies in the POWER of the evil one. 20 And we know the Son of God has come and has given us understanding. This is so we may know He who is True. And we are in him, the true one, through his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and is life enduring. 21 Little children, guard yourselves from idols.

6 - This is he who came by water and blood—Jesus Christ. Not by water (of natural birth) only but by water and blood. And the Spirit is who testifies, because the Spirit {of God} is Truth. 7 For three bear witness, 8 the Spirit(/Presence of God) and the water and the blood. {Birth and death? The water and blood that came from his side when on the cross? Moses “struck the rock and fresh/living water flowed from it”.} And the three agree. 9 If we receive the testimony of men, the testimony of God is greater! And - this - is the testimony of God concerning his Son - 10 that whoever believes in the Son of God has the testimony/witness within them. And whoever does not believe God, has made him out to be a liar, because he has not believed the testimony of God concerning his Son. 11 And this is the testimony, that God gave us life, enduring life - and this life - is in his Son. 12 Whoever has the Son has life. Whoever does not have the Son of God does not have the {enduring} life. {Until they do “have the Son”.} 13 So I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have the enduring life.

ACTS 4 1-22

 Universalism in the New Testament

       BooK of Acts of the First Believers

                          (Paraphrased)

1 - The apostles were still at the temple talking to the people there, when some priests, the captain of the temple guard, and some Sadducees arrived. 2 They were angry because the apostles were teaching the people that the dead would be raised from death, as Jesus had been. 3 It was late afternoon and they arrested Peter and John and put them in jail for the night. 4 But a lot of people who had heard the message believed it, and so now there were about 5,000 followers of the Lord.

     5 The next morning the leaders, the elders, and the teachers of the Law of Moses called a council in Jerusalem. 6 The high priest Annas was there, as well as Caiaphas, also John, Alexander, and other members of the high priest's family. 7 They brought in Peter and John and made them stand in the middle of the room while they questioned them. They asked, “By what power and in whose name have you done this?”

     8 Peter was filled with the Holy Spirit{/Presence of God} and told the leaders, 9 “You are questioning us today about a kind deed. A man who could not walk was healed! 10 Let it be known to you and all of Israel, that this man is standing here completely well because of the power of Jesus Christ from Nazareth. You crucified Jesus, but God raised him to life. 11  He is the stone you builders thought of as worthless, but he’s the most important foundation stone. 12 Only Jesus has the power to save! His name is the only name in all the world that can save anyone. {From death and its cause imperfection/entropy, God being Life and “is perfect” Mt.5:48. No option to stray, and humanity would be an ant farm, so “God is savior..” 1Tim.4:10.}

     13 The officials were amazed to see how bold Peter and John were, and they knew they were only ordinary men with not much education, but also knew they had been with Jesus. 14 And they couldn’t deny what had happened. The man who had been healed was there, standing with Peter and John.

     15 They ordered them to leave the council room. Then they said to one another, 16 “What can we do with these men? Everyone in Jerusalem knows about this miracle, and we can’t say it didn't happen. 17 But to keep this thing from spreading, we’ll instruct them not to speak to anyone about the name of Jesus again.” 18 So they called the two back in and told them they must not teach in the name of Jesus.

     19 But Peter and John answered, “Do you think God wants us to obey you? Or to obey him? 20 We cannot keep quiet about what we have seen and heard.”

     21The council could find no good reason to hold or to punish Peter and John. So they threatened them and let them go. 22 The man who was healed was more than 40 years old, and everyone was praising God for the miracle.

Hebrews 11:40.} 32 Now Peter, John and James were very sleepy, when they saw his glory and the two men with him, 33 and as the men were about to go away, Peter said to Jesus, “Master! It’s good we are here! Let us make three tents (tabernacles) one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah!” Not really knowing what he was saying. 34 And as he was saying these things, a cloud came and overshadowed them, and they were afraid as they entered the cloud.  {The better cloud! The better info.} 35 And a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is my Son, my Chosen One, listen to and hear him.” 36 And after the voice had spoken, they saw then only Jesus. And they told no one in those days what they had seen.

And everyone loving God, loves those born of him as well. 2 We know that we love the children of God, when we love God and obey his instructions [entolΓ© - injunction, order, command, ordinance, law]. 3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commands (instructions). And his commands are not difficult. 4 For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And the victory that overcomes the world—is our faith. 5 Who is it who overcomes “the world” but the one who believes Jesus is the Son of God?

2 Six days later Jesus took with him Peter and James and John, and they went up a high mountain. Soon he was transfigured before them, 3 his clothes were radiant and intensely white, like no one on earth could ever bleach them. 4 And there appeared Elijah and Moses talking with him. 5 And Peter said, “Rabbi, it’s good we’re here! We’ll make three tents, one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah!” 6 For he didn’t know what to say, for they were overcome and didn’t know what to think.

     7 Then a cloud overshadowed them, and they heard a voice come out of the cloud, “This is my beloved Son. Hear all he says.” 8 And then, all returned to normal, and they saw no one but Jesus. (“The” kingdom.) 9 And as they were coming back down the mountain, he charged them not to tell anyone what they had seen until the Son of Man had risen from the dead. 10 So they kept the matter to their selves, but they wondered what he meant by rising from the dead.

     11 Rather than ask about that, they asked him, “Why do the scribes say Elijah must come first?” 12 And he answered, “Elijah does come first to restore all. And how is it written of the Son of Man, that he should suffer many things and be treated with contempt? 13 And I tell you, Elijah has come, and they did to him as they pleased, as it’s written of him.”

(Disciple John writes) 7 - My dear friends, we should love one another, for love is from God, and the one who loves has been born of God and knows Him. 8 To not love is to not know God, for God is Love. 9 He has revealed his love for us by sending his one and only Son into the world that we might live in and through him. [Dia - thoroughly, from one side all the way to the other.]

     10 Real love isn't our love for God, it’s his love for us. God sent his Son to be the sacrifice by which our sins are forgiven. [Sacrifice - hilasmΓ³s – properly, propitiation; an offering to appease (satisfy) an angry, offended party (biblehub dot com) — yes we’ve offended God but “HE has subjected all to disobedience” Ro.11:32, and thus to this imperfection/entropy, a slow gehenna crucible that “doesn’t quit” so “God is savior..” 1Tim.4:10. Biblehub - HilasmΓ³s is only used twice (in 1Jn.2:2 and 4:10) – both times of Christ's atoning sacrifice that appeases God's wrath.]

     {Aka, in my humble opinion, ‘wrath’ being cause and effect, including of imperfect being the opposite of Life. Because God iS life and “is perfect” Mt.5:48, an iron measure.} [Biblehub - By the sacrifice of Himself, Jesus Christ provided the ultimate hilasmΓ³s - expiation.] {And I think what really needed to be appeased is the human conscience and oh so delicate and unforgiving psyche.. The other offended party.. THE provided propitiation/sacrifice/ransom being strong enough to appease eveRy guilty conscience. And is a contract/testament sealed in blood. And strong enough to reach all ..and don’t forget what a very sad commentary history is.}

     11 Dear friends, since God loved us this much - we, surely, must love each other. {The sacrifice was the closest thing to getting ‘up off the throne’ himself? As wouldn’t then all creation fall apart? ..Logically, he had it all worked out before doing any act of creation. Even Jesus was tested/improved/perfected by his obedience when he came via the flesh and struggled and prayed - “not my will, but Your’s”. And so is “forever preeminent” via God’s design. And why should we worry, he has it all designed.}

He had the seal of the living God, and he called with a loud voice to the four angels who had been given power to harm the earth and sea, 3 saying, “Don’t harm earth or sea or trees until we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads!” (Mind, thoughts, psyche, clarity.) 4 And I heard the count and number of those to seal, 144,000 from every tribe of the sons of Israel, 5 - 8 — 12,000 from each tribe - of Judah, Reuben, Gad, Asher, Naphtali, Manasseh, Simeon, Levi, Issachar, Zebulun, Joseph, and Benjamin. 9 And after this I looked and behold! A great crowd which no one was able to number from every nation, and all tribes, and peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb and they were clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands. {First group mentioned is also part of second group mentioned.} 10 And they cried out as one! In a loud voice, “Salvation/safety/well-being belongs to our God who sits on the throne! And to the Lamb!” 11 And all the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living beings and they fell before the throne and worshiped. 12 saying, “Amen! Blessing and glory! Wisdom, and thanksgiving! Honor and power and might be to our God forever and ever! Amen!”

     13 Then one of the elders said to me, “Who are these, having been clothed in white robes, and from where do they come?” 14 I said to him, “Sir, you know.” And he said, [the following is word for word translation) “These are the coming/going out of the tribulation the great and washed/to wash {I don’t know how to read the tense} the robes (of) them and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. 15 “Therefore they are before the very throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple. And - he who sits on the throne will shelter them with his presence. {They are mentioned again, during the fifth trumpet.} 16 They will not hunger nor thirst anymore. Nor shall fall upon them the sun nor any burning-glow of heat [kauma]. 17 For the Lamb, in the midst of the throne, will shepherd them, and will lead them to living fountains [pΓ©gΓ© - springs, fountains, wells] of water.

     And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”

31 - Then Jesus returned from the region of Tyre and went through Sidon and back to the Sea of Galilee, and then past there to the region of the Decapolis.  [Called “the ten cities”.] 32 And they brought to him a man who was deaf and had a speech impediment, for they wanted him to lay his hands on him and heal him. 33 And taking the man aside privately, away from the crowd, Jesus put his fingers into his ears, and after spitting touched his tongue. (Whatever it takes? for the person to believe?) 34 And looking up to heaven, he sighed and said, “Ephphatha,” that is, “Be opened.” 35 And the man’s ears were opened, and his tongue was released. And he could speak plainly. 36 Jesus told them not to tell anyone. But they enthusiastically went about telling what Jesus had done. 37 For they were astonished beyond measure! Saying, “He has done all things well! He even makes the deaf to hear and the mute to speak!” [Isaiah 61:1,35:5; Mt.11:4-5.]

08/17 ~ From New Testament Letters

   (In the Order Believed Written)

18 - Little children, let’s not just love in word and talk, but in actions and in truth. {Genuinely, not just talk a good talk, but sincere affection for our fellow person. To examine our heart and thoughts by this measure/rod. Both the adversary/accuser and our own carnality is like an unseen slithering serpent. Guard our heart, and exercise discernment.}

     19 For it is by this we’ll know we’re of the truth {and in “the Way”} and will reassure our heart before him. 20 For when our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and he knows all. 21 And beloved, if our heart doesn’t condemn us, we have confidence before him. 22 And whatever we ask of him, we receive, because we keep his commands/instructions and do what pleases him.

     {Our New Testament/Covenant/Contract w/ God instructions. And the well being and society preserving “ten commandments”/instructions we keep through God’s HoLy Spirit/Presence with us.. and through Jesus. Our “faith is reckoned as righteousness” and innocence and pardon, all debt paid by “Christ Crucified”. God’s Spirit in and with us will cause us to keep the ten, better than the Pharisees, etc. Foods and days/Sabbaths (especially for non-hebrew believers) are according to ones “own” conscience and mind [Ro.14:5] as Jesus iS the Sabbath, which the day is the “type and shadow” of. Then we “follow” the New Testament instructions to “abide in him” and to “abide in the scripture” - abide in the personified logos, and abide in the written logos/reasoning, as “all scripture is for training” 2Tim.3:16.

     Training for what? Eternity. But also for serving, called reigning, during Jesus’ long second advent? Consisting of “the millennium” - upon Earth, a Sabbath millennium rest from enmity, war, division, evil. And there are mortal survivors of the apocalypse - which was fully done by man - serving also during the release of the adversary&co, and the gathering they do, once again to an ‘armageddon’ “against God’s camp” - the earth again under sway of division.. accusations.. hatred. But then the fiery flash defeat and a second mention of a lake of fire. First is at the armageddon battle that concludes this straying/imperfection/entropy which began in Eden - for no option to stray would be humanity as an ant farm? And the final mention of a lake of fire is after GWT Judgment ‘day’ has concluded - surely a ‘day’ of full closure for all and concerning all history and the traumas of it. This (GWT ‘day’) of course, during the second half of the “8th day”/millennium, the “last great day” - Lev.23:36, Jn.7:37. (And Mt.25:1-13 - the door to). Called reigning, for to do His works is to reign? “Crown of LiFe” ..not like the world with metal crowns. Kingdom vs. empire.}

   08/17 - GospeL Verses

(After answering the Pharisees complaint and accusation) 14 - Jesus called to him the people again saying, “Listen and understand, 15 there is no food outside a person that defiles them. It’s what comes out of a person that pollutes them.”

     17 When he had gone inside, his disciples asked him about it, 18 and he said, “Are you also without understanding? Do you not see what goes into a person from outside doesn’t pollute, 19 for it doesn’t enter the heart, but it enters the stomach, and is expelled?” Thus he declared all foods clean. 20 And he said, “What comes out of a person, is what ruins. 21 For from within, out of the heart, comes evil thoughts, sexual immorality, thefts, murder, adultery, 22 coveting, wickedness, deceit, wantonness [aselgeia - licentiousness, lewdness, from aselgΔ“s - brutal – properly, violent spite which rejects restraint and indulges in lawless insolence] envy, slander, pride, foolishness. 23 All these evil things {pollutions} come from within. And they are what pollute.” {And ruin.}

     24 From there he went to the region of Tyre and Sidon. And entered a house and didn’t want anyone to know he was there, but it couldn’t be kept secret. 25 And right away a woman whose little daughter had an unclean spirit heard of him and came and fell down at his feet. 26 Now the woman was a Gentile, a Syro-phoenician (palestinian) by birth. And she begged him to cast the demon out of her daughter. 27 And he said to her, “(We must) let the children be fed first, for it’s not right to give the children's bread to the little dogs.” 28 But she answered him, “Yes, Lord; yet even the little dogs under the table eat the children’s crumbs that fall from the table.”

      29 “For this,” he said (smiling and impressed?) “you may go your way, and you will find the demon has left your little daughter.” 30 And she went home and found the child resting in bed and the demon had gone from her.

1 - Some Pharisees and scribes who had come from Jerusalem had gathered around him. 2 And they noticed some of his disciples ate without washing their hands first. 3 For the Pharisees and their followers when they come from the marketplaces, and before they eat, wash their hands a certain traditional way. 4 And there are many other traditions they observe, certain ways of washing cups, pots, copper vessels and dining couches.

      5 So the Pharisees and scribes asked him, “Why do your disciples not walk according to the tradition of the elders? But are eating with unwashed hands?” 6 And he answered them, “Well did Isaiah prophesy, ‘You honor me with your lips, and your heart is far from me. 7 In vain do you worship me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’ 8 For you abandon the commandment of God and you hold to men’s traditions. 9 You have a fine way of rejecting the commandment of God in order to have your own tradition! 10 For Moses said, ‘Honor your father and your mother’ and, ‘Woe to whoever neglects father or mother.’ 11 But you say, ‘If a man tells his father or his mother, “Whatever you would have gained from me is Corban/put in trust, as put aside for God, 12 then they don’t have to do anything for their father or mother! 13 Thus canceling the word of God by your {self serving} tradition, you’ve handed down.      11 This is the message that you’ve heard from the beginning! That we should love one another.

Because his own deeds were evil [ponΓ©ros - toilsome, bad] {not good} and his brother's deeds were righteous. 13 Don’t be surprised, brothers and sisters, that the world dislikes you. 14 We know we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brothers and sisters [adelphos - from alpha, a prefix and delphus - womb] {Eve is “the mother of us all” and especially our brothers and sisters believing in the Lord with us}. Whoever does not love, is dwelling and living in death.

46 - After Jesus saw the people off, he went further inland, into the mountain in order to be alone to pray. 47 And when evening came, the boat was out on the sea [of Galilee] but he was still on land. 48 He saw they were struggling, for the wind was against them. {Like life! Imperfection/entropy a slow gehenna that flares up into fiery judgments from time to time.. happens to all, leading up to the true judgment which ultimately and eventually will occur in every heart, as Jesus “will draw all” Jn.12:32, because “God is savior of all” 1Tim.4:10. And “in the fullness of time” after the the week plus one, after the “8th day”/millennium, “when the Son has subdued all and hands all over to the Father at the “end-aim” then “all of heaven/angelos and all of earth/anthropos will be gathered into Jesus” that “God be all in all” via the simultaneous 2nd vivification at the fieRy “palin/again-genesis”, separated five hundred years (Lev.23) from its partner, the 2nd resurrection. Ephesians 1:10, 1Cor.15:(22)27-28-word all five times is pas-all.}

     And then at about the fourth watch of the night he went out to them walking on the water. He meant to pass by, 49 but they saw him and thought it was a ghost, and cried out! 50 For they saw him walking by on the water and were terrified. But he said, “Take heart! It is I! Don’t be afraid!” 51 And he got into the boat with them, and the wind stopped, and they were utterly amazed. 52 For they didn’t understand [suniΓ©mi - put together, consider, understand, perceive] about the loaves, for their hearts were hardened [pΓ³roΓ³ - petrified, hardened, from pōros, a kind of marble) – properly, made of stone; figuratively, insensible, dull, unperceptive, unresponsive]. {Unresponsive.. perhaps struggles of life make us more responsive.. and he gets in, or that is we realize he’s in the boat with us. This in response to the extreme thought that when he calls we should be like - zero. Zero response. I understand we DO NOT earn Life/salvation. That’s the other extreme. But a stone as a bride? I can’t think that’s the way either.}

     53 When they had crossed over, they came to land at Gennesaret and anchored at shore. 54 When they got out of the boat, the people immediately knew it was Jesus, 55 and they ran about the whole region and began to bring sick ones on their beds to wherever they heard he was. 56 And wherever he came, in the villages, cities, or countryside, they laid the sick in the marketplaces and implored him that they might touch even the fringe of his garment. And as many as touched, were made whole.

3 - Everyone who is hoping [elpis - expects, hopes] in him purifies their self as he is pure [hagnos - free of contamination].

     4 Anyone who makes a practice of doing wrong is practicing lawlessness. For sin [hamartia - missing the mark, doing wrong] is lawlessness. 5 You know that he appeared in order to take away all that {and ultimately all “missing the mark”/imperfection which is just naturally entropy which “doesn’t quit” because God is Life and “is perfect” Mt.5:48}. And in him there is no sin/missing the mark/imperfection. 6 No one who abides in him, keeps doing wrong, or they have not seen him nor known him. (Which equates to “I never knew you”?) 7 Little children, don’t let anyone mislead you. Whoever practices doing right is righteous, even as he is righteous. 8 Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil [diabolos - in secular Greek means "backbiter," i.e. an accuser (slanderer) diΓ‘bolos is literally someone who "casts through," i.e. making charges that bring down (destroy) from diaballΓ³ - to bring charges with hostile intent] for the devil has been doing wrong from the beginning. {Of creation. God’s patience is shown by his waiting for the first bound to occur rebel thought to not only occur, but to ripen into outright sedition. So “all in heaven and earth” would take this unavoidable journey/lesson all together at once.} For this reason the Son of God appeared and  was revealed, to destroy [luΓ³ - loose, release, dissolve] the works [Γ©rgon - work, deed (action) that carries out and completes the intention and purpose] of the devil. 9 No one born of God makes a practice of sinning. God's seed abides in them and they cannot keep on sinning, because they have been born of God.

(Now thAt’s enthusiasm, I’m totaLLy convinced, his so brief first advent is a small replica of his long second advent!) 34 When he went ashore he saw a great crowd, and he had compassion, because they were like sheep with no shepherd. And so he taught them many things. 35 And when it grew late, his disciples came and said, “This is a desolate place, and the hour is late. 36 Should we send them away to go into the surrounding countryside and villages to find food?” 37 But he answered, “You give them something to eat.” So they said, “Shall we go and buy two hundred denarii worth of bread?” 38 And he said, “How many loaves do you have? Go and see.” And when they had found out, they came back and said, “Five, and two fish.” 39 Then he told them all to sit down in groups on the grass. 40 So they sat down in groups, by hundreds and fifties. 41 And taking the five loaves and the two fish, he looked up to heaven, said a blessing, broke the loaves, and gave them to the disciples to hand out to the people. And he divided also the two fish among them all.

     42 And they were all satisfied. (Ultimately all of us, with what he teaches us and feeds us. His sheep.) 43 And they took up twelve baskets full of leftover pieces of bread and fish. 44 And those who ate the loaves were about five thousand.

     45 Then he had his disciples get into the boat and go ahead of him to the other side, to Bethsaida, while he stayed and sent the people on their ways home.

[“Aionion Life”]

     26 I {disciple/apostle John} write these things to you because there are those who are trying to mislead you! 27 But if the anointing he gives, and that you received abides in you, then you have no need that someone should guide and teach you. For it is his anointing that teaches you about everything! And is true. And so it is no lie, just as it has been taught you -> abide in Him.

     28 And now, little children, abide in him - so that when he appears we may have confidence and not shrink back from him at his coming. 29 If you know that he is righteous, you may be sure that believers who practice righteousness have been born of him.

     7 Now Herod the tetrarch heard about all that was going on, and he was puzzled, because it was said by some that John the Baptizer had been raised from the dead. 8 Others said Elijah had appeared. And still others said one of the prophets of old had risen. (From their grave, Jn.5:28,29). 9 So Herod said, “I beheaded John! Who is this!? About whom I hear such things?” And he sought to see him for himself.

18 - Children, it’s the last hour [hora - a definite space of time, a season, an hour, the particular time for anything] and as you have heard, antichrist is coming, but now many antichrists have come. Therefore we know it is the last season. 19 They went out from us, but they weren’t genuine, for if they had been, they would have continued with us. But they went away from us, that it might become plain that they are not of us. 20 But you, you have been anointed by the Holy One, and have the accurate knowledge/knowing. 21 I write to you, not because you don’t know the truth, but because you do know the truth, and because no lie can be of the truth. 22 And who is the liar? But he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This -> is the antichrist -> whoever denies the Father and the Son. {And has become “the world”?}

   08/11 - GospeL Verses

14 - King Herod heard all about Jesus, for his name had become very well known. Some people said, “John the Baptist has been raised from the dead! That’s why these miraculous powers are at work in him.” 15 But others said, “He’s Elijah!” And still others said, “He’s a prophet, like one of the prophets of old.”

     16 But when Herod heard of it, he said, “John, whom I beheaded, has been raised!” 17 For it was Herod who had ordered John be arrested and cast into prison for the sake of Herodias, his brother Philip's wife, because he had married his own. brother’s wife. 18 For John had been saying to Herod, “It’s not lawful for you to have her.”

     19 So Herodias hated him. And she wanted to have him put to death. But she couldn’t, 20 because Herod (a hebrew by birth) feared John. For he knew he was a righteous and holy man, and so he kept him safe. When he heard him speak, he was perplexed and troubled. Yet he liked to listen to him.

     21 But an opportunity came when Herod, upon his birthday, gave a banquet for his nobles, military commanders, and the leading men of Galilee. 22 When Herodias' daughter came in and danced for them, she pleased Herod and his guests. And the king exclaimed, “Ask me for whatever you wish! And I will give it to you!” 23 And he vowed, “Whatever you ask! I will give you! Up to half of my kingdom!” 24 So she sought out her mother and said, “What should I ask for?” And her mother said, “The head of John the Baptist.” 25 So she hurried back to the king, saying, “I want you to give me the head of John the Baptist on a platter.”

     26 The king was troubled and regretful, but because of his oath - his guests heard it - he didn’t want to be seen breaking his word. 27 So he sent for an executioner with orders to bring John's head, who then went and beheaded him in the prison. 28 And he brought his head on a platter, and gave it to the girl. And the girl gave it to her mother. 29 When his disciples heard of it, they came and took his body and laid it in a tomb.

08/10 ~ From New Testament Letters

   (In the Order Believed Written)

15 - Don’t love this world and the things that belong to this world. If anyone loves the world, then love of the Father is not in them. 16 For all that’s in the world - the desires of the lower {flawed} nature, the coveting of the eyes, and the arrogance of life - are not from the Father but are of the world. 17 And the world is passing away, along with all its enchantments {and negative enchantments of division) but whoever does the will of God abides to [eis - into, to, towards, for, in] the age [the aion - the eon, the age].

   08/10 - GospeL Verses

1 - Then from there he and his disciples went to Jesus’ hometown. 2 And on the Sabbath he began to teach in the synagogue, and many who heard him were astonished, and said, “Where did he get these things? What is this wisdom? How does he do such mighty works? 3 Isn’t this the carpenter’s son?! Son of Mary and the brother of James, Joses, Judas and Simon?” (James and Judas/Jude each have a letter in our New Testament. James became an important leader in Jerusalem.) “And are not his sisters here with us?” And they were offended. 4 But Jesus knowing their thoughts and what they were saying, said, “A prophet isn’t doubted except in his hometown, and among his relatives, and within his own house.” 5 And he couldn’t do miracles there, except he laid his hands on a few sick folks and they were healed. 6 He marveled over their unbelief, and went about among the other villages teaching.

     7 Then he appointed the twelve and began to send them out two by two. He gave them authority over the unclean spirits, 8 and told them to take nothing for their journey except a staff - no bread, no bag, no money in their belts. 9 And to wear sandals but not take another tunic. 10 “Whenever you enter a house,” he said, “stay there until you leave from there. 11 If a town or place won’t receive you, or listen to you, when you leave, shake the dust off your feet” {don’t let it bother you} “as a testimony. I tell you, it will be more tolerable [anektoteros: tolerable, endurable] {will go better} for Sodom or Gomorrah in [en -in, on, at, by, with, among, during] ‘day’ of judgment than for that city.” 12 So they went out and they proclaimed repentance [metanoeΓ³ - from metΓ‘ - changed after being with, and noiéō - think,  so - think differently afterwards]. 13 And they cast out many demons, and anointed with oil many who were sick and they were healed.

11 - Whoever hates [miseΓ³ - to hate, detest, love less, esteem less] despises their brother [adelphos - from the same womb] {all from Eve, their fellow person/others} IS in the dark. And walking in darkness, not knowing where they stumble, because the darkness has blinded their eyes. {It’s MY heart I need to judge. But “the world” is awash with suspicion, blame, accusation, judging, condemning -> division. And human nature seems to be super prone to it, even among believers in our Lord, straining over gnats, complaining about others past and present, judging before its time.. Thinking “we’re doing it right, others are not, have not, etc, etc. Our specific way of thinking is superior.. others inferior.. same old same old.}

     12  I (John) am writing to you, little children {newbies, lol} because for his name's [onoma - authority, CAUSE, name’s] sake, your sins/“missing the mark” is forgiven. 13 I’m writing to you, fathers, because you’ve known he who is from the beginning. I’m writing to you, young men, because you have overcome the evil one. I’m writing to you, children, because you know the Father.

     14 I write to you, fathers, because you know he who is from the beginning. I write to you, young men, because you are strong, and πŸ—️the word of God lives/abides in you, and (so) you overcome the evil one.

   08/09 - GospeL Verses

49 - While Jesus was still walking and teaching, someone from the Jairus’ house came and said, “Your daughter has died, don’t trouble the teacher any longer.” 50 But Jesus heard and said, “Don’t fear. Just believe. And she will be well.”

     51 When they came to the house, he allowed no one to enter with him, except Peter, John and James, and the father and mother of the girl. 52 And the people who had gathered, were weeping and mourning, but he said, “Don’t weep. She’s not dead but sleeping.” {The big sleep.} 53 And they laughed at him, for they knew she had died {perished, hades-not seen, state of being gone, God is Life and “is perfect” mt.5:48, so straying/imperfect is entropy and an abyss of potential, already proven, but no option to stray in Eden would be an Ant Farm). {Ant Farm versus Total ‘herd’ Immunity. Root word of logic, is logos.}

      54 Taking her by the hand he said, “Child, arise.” 55 And her spirit [pneuma - spirit, wind, breath] returned, and she got up at once. And he told them to give her something to eat. 56 And her parents were amazed, but he told them not to tell anyone what had occurred. (Eye witness accounts always differ.. all but John were executed rather than deny their testimony.)

08/08 ~ From New Testament Letters

   (In the Order Believed Written)

6 - Whoever says they abide in the Lord, ought to walk the same way he walked. 7 Beloved, I’m not writing to you any new commandment/instruction, but an old one that you have had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word that you’ve heard. 8 At the same time, it’s a new commandment, for it’s true in him and in you, because the darkness is passing away. And the true light is already shining. {Until “the falling away” by an of the world (surely?) “false prophet’s strong delusion” which “seats man in the temple as god”/highest power, resulting in “the anthropos of lawlessness”. And division being the siren call to the resulting armageddon battle.} 9 Whoever says they are in the light and despises their brother or sister (and fellow person) is in darkness. 10 But whoever loves their fellow person abides in the light, and in them there’s no cause for stumbling. (Because “love fulfills The Law” Ro.13:8,10.)
